When I retired, I didn't need my nicer career office clothing. I went through it and organized into skirts, tops, etc. I bagged it up and donated it to a battered women's shelter. It really is a great place to take clothing, since women are beginning a new life and a new job. Nicer clothing gives them a good start in a new life.
Great tips! I also store my less frequently worn shoes on the top shelf in plastic shoe boxes. Why are people so miserable. Thanks for sharing YOUR organizing tips!
Excellent, excellent video! I work as a designer for a well known design company. These hacks are spot on. The only thing I didn’t like was the shoe storage being above the clothing. Pool noodle in the purses is excellent. Great ideas without having to pull the closets apart. And thank you for giving the information quickly and not rambling on. It’s appreciated you’re respectful of others time.
I couldn't do the shoes that are not in a box. Shoes a very dirty and I wouldn't have them in my closet and certainly not above my clothing. P.S. I don't wear shoes in my house. They never make it past my foyer.
Changing out my hangers for the nicer, slimmer, velvet type with swivel hooks and no slip grip has been so very much worth the investment! It has been a game changer for me, especially since I prefer to hang nearly all my clothes rather than folding them. Socks and underwear are the only things I don’t hang in the closet, even with limited space. I live in a tiny apartment now, after having owned two larger homes previously. Downsizing has been a bit painful at times, but is much better for me overall. But organization is key to having enough space !
Just a helpful little hack. Hang all of your clothing backwards on the rod with the open side of the hanger facing out. When using a piece of clothing and putting it back later, hang it the right way. At the end of the year, go through your closet and get rid of anything still hanging backwards. It’s a good way to keep track of what you truly don’t wear and can donate. Also remember women’s shelters when donating clothing. ❤
Well done with this video. I would add one thing a dry cleaner told me a long time ago… When blouses/shirts are being hung up… Hang them inside OUT. The hanger bumps will be to the inside and not sticking up when you put them on. And I also hang two shirts of the same color on one hanger.
The same hangers is HUGE! No one thinks it is but, what a difference it makes going to your closet everyday. Brilliant tips. No need to go in debt to organise.
I love those hangars, but tug at it sideways and it will snap. I find myself breaking them regularly - and the color is impossible to match. I'd love a tip for this.
Those hangers from Walmart fail over time, especially for heavier men's suits, jackets. I have had at least a dozen break, just with women's blouses on th3m.
“Today is Not the end of your story! So don’t quit. Keep putting one foot right in front of the other.” Thank you, thank you, Shannon, for these words and for your encouragement. Plus great organizing tips! ❤😊
@@shannonskiptomylife Your words at the conclusion of your video simply blew me away! I lost my brother/best friend to despair a number of years ago... Thank you for the tips & encouragement!🤗 My fur baby's name is Diesel. He was literally rescued from near a Diesel fuel pump in a bad part if Memphis TN by my daughter. He has filled a hole in my life that I didn't even know how huge it was until he came into my life and I believe that I did the same for him. Another miracle that the Lord arranged!
I just recently started reorganizing my closet. Instead of choosing an Ikea or Closet World System which I'm sure is quite expensive I chose to reconfigure my space with the "perfectly" useable Clear Containers I already have. This meant donating a lot of STUFF and from this moment on keeping everything to a minimum by NOT purchasing more STUFF. I'm not finished yet but I can actually walk into my closet now. Thank YOU so much for your tips and ideas. I will be checking out your other videos . 👍
Well done! It feels fabulous once you’re organised. I have always had the rule of “bringing one new item in means taking two items out”. If I buy a shirt, two go! Same with shoes, etc. At one point I was so inundated with hats, mittens, gloves and scarves (that no one wore) that I gathered my husband and kids, said pick which ones you like. Then we went to which TWO you like the most. I then put dividers in a drawer by the back door and said ‘this is where they live. Learn, love it, do it!’. That was 20 years ago and now the kids spots are empty. I’m waiting for grand babies to fill them!! 😂
Love how simple things brighten up a space! Even more easy and renter friendly for the rod is a plastic shower rod cover, less than $5 at Home Depot. Snaps on and pulls off when it's time to go. Won't shred like stick-on vinyl. Also, a periodic wipe with a piece of wax paper will make those hangers slide like a dream. (Old retail trick.)
Helpful hint... You can also use soda can tabs to hang clothes going down. The tab has 2 holes. Hang one over the top clothes hanger, put second hanger in the second hole of the tab for hanging multiple clothes downward. Plus, the metal doesn't lose its ability to hold the weight of the clothes like the plastic does. I had that problem with the store-bought plastic that was specifically made to hang clothes downward.
I also use the same hangers!! I also use chains on the hangers as space savers for my skirts, pants and shirts to save space as I am an absolute clothes horse!! I use canvass sorting boxes for my intimates, purses et al. And clear storage boxes for those items I need a visual on. This video confirmed for me that I am on the right track!! Thank you!! PS: I loved the hanging jewelry holder and the pool noodle hack!! I have used them in my boots, but never in my purses. That will soon change!!
so glad i found this video!! I am literally in the middle of re-doing my small reach in closet and some of these tips are absolutely fantastic! THANK YOU
I love that you donated your unwanted clothing! I work at a large nonprofit and we really appreciate donations. The only thing is donations in giant black trash bags are so hard for us lift up to sort through…they also collect moisture. Better to donate in a small clear bag, or paper bags.
This is The Best Organization video I've seen! Cannot wait to organize and downsize & clean! Love the clean asthetic look. Everything is pleasing to the eye & functional!!
I was going to comment on losing the plastic hangers for the felt ones, but you already did it! The felt hangers save SO much space and your clothes don't slip off!
Glad to see you acknowledged that there was too much stuff. But holy smokes that’s a lot of shoes. I found those skinny hangers stretched out and distorted clothes. I replaced all my hangers with wooden ones and it’s gorgeous and my clothes stay in shape. I got those canvas shelves and they eventually really droop, so I ended up having to get solid shelves.
Thank you!! You were a great help for my storage dilemma of only one person, ME! In one bedroom with a small walk in closet, a computer area, stuff and other stuff areas 😏 I shall donate more stuff. 💖🙏🏽Thank you. 👌🏽
I have gone through and donated a bunch of clothes. I do love the same thin hangers that you have. I have wooden ones for my heavy coats. I use a "skirt hanger" like your cami hanger for my bras. Works so well for that. I live in a studio apartment, space is definitely at a premium here. I put my scarves, hat and winter gloves in the compartment hanger. I also put my winter boots in the bottom shelves. Thank you for your vid!
New Sub here! I love your tips! About 15+ years ago when the felt hangers came out and were very expensive, I started to save every month on my college part time income. They would be a game changer in my small closet at my parents house. That was the one thing I changed and it almost doubled my closet capacity. I agree if you can only afford to do 1 thing, the hangers are the choice. Your closet turned out amazing! Shout out to my 3 fur babies, Hunter, Bella, and Ranger!
I also changed my hangers to the thin velvet ones and learned the trick to place shoes toe to heel side by side and it’s amazing how much space is saved. I have small pocket closets in all my bedrooms so these tips come in handy. And my fur baby’s name is Samson.
Organization is great. Purge half?! Or more of those shoes! Paint inside of closet a very bright gloss white. It will help. Better yet-ask landlord to redo that outdated dark closet. Love the doggie! So cute❤
For those of us with annoying wire shelving in our closets or pantry, I buy cookie sheet pans at the dollar store to put under anything with legs, like the shoe rack for example.
I really liked what you said about this not being the end of my story and don't give up I think that was a very encouraging and thoughtful thing to say My favorites in this video are covering the clothing bar with white contact paper or painting it white And the lucite bins. The closet looks really really nice you did a great job. 😊 I'm sure your husband was thrilled when he came home.
Great ideas! And you are so right. One of our main problems is that we have way too much stuff so, donate. Donate, donate! Before attempting to organize.
@@sachelldupree1330 Quick Thought: Your shoes have been EVERYWHERE. Just because the racks FIT, I question the sanitary aspect of putting them OVER YOUR GARMENTS. Use the racks for, let's say, out of season sweaters/bulky items in vacuum bags. Do shoes in shoe bags (ahem: washable) on a narrow wall.
Yes. Matching hangers make a HUGE impact on a closet makeover, and the flocked thin hangers are amazing. They prevent the clothing from falling on the floor, and it does add space in the closet.
You have a lot of really great ideas, and I love how you divided the process up and even labeled the video sections! Easy to go back to if I need to refresh my memory! I'm going to start with the small unlit closets in my house and put in some light bars! Brilliant idea!💡
You did an excellent job! One thing I noticed with your closet just like mine and one of my sisters is your clothes are color coordinated. I learned that from my sister years ago and it makes fun and whatever so much easier and it makes your closet look a heck of a whole lot better (as well)!! Thanks for sharing your tips.
Some of these hacks are awesome others promote more issues… I would never put shoes on a rack above my head to the top of the closet. You can’t see them and the dirtiest part is pointing down to your face. Wrap the wood dowel also not the greatest idea. Those velvet hangers are God level as the battery light in the closet too. 2 excellent suggestions ❤
I live in a house built in the 1950's, when people didnt have so much, so closets are very, very small.I use S hooks in my closet, and those hanging shelves are great too. If you have a less sturdy one, try placing a piece of thick cardboard (or chipboard) on each shelf to add stability and I found a folding board to be very useful as you can actually fold anything on them and whatever you're folding can all be the same exact size. I'm an organizing freak and have owned a small label maker for a long time and use it for everything. I also use individual over the door hooks for towels, robes and used those mesh laundry bags for lingerie, hooked together with binder rings, hung on those over the door hooks to sort my lingerie that needs washing cause I hand wash those items.
Your ideas are brilliant! You figured out how to have less in your closet which makes it easier to organize and keep neat. I especially liked your mesh bag for lingerie that you hand wash. You eliminated a step by storing it in the mesh bag and saved room in your closet. Question: the metal ring goes through the mesh bag at the top and that’s how you hang it?
Your wardrobes are so large and you have so much room above the clothes rod. I'm green with envy! Your multiple hanging strips are genius. Lots of good ideas, thank you!!!🥰
Once or twice a year, I hang all my clothes backward. As I wear and launder them I put the hanger the normal way. That way, I can clearly see which items I’m not wearing and are ready to donate.
I love how you think that's a tiny closet! :D The hangers for strappy vest tops is a good idea. I'd seen those hangers in Wilko's and wondered what would fit on them. I currently roll my vest tops and keep them in the chest of drawers, but I think they'll be easier to access on a hanger.
Great video. I like the clear plastic boxes but I’d move them 90 degrees so the front to back is narrower-can fit more. Jewelry is a never ending challenge. If you wear it a lot, I put in those pockets on jewelry organizer. But when I travel, I’ve learned to take a chain necklace for instance and fasten it (so it’s a loop), less likely to get in a knot, then I slip in mini-pill bags so they stay separate. Then when I get home, I keep them that way. Also helps to see the jewelry you really aren’t using. (Similar to putting hangers in closet backwards to prove you’ve worn clothes).
I also use straws to put my neckless's on when traveling. Thread the neckless through the straw and close it on the outside. Can cut straw if too long.
Thanks so much, I really needed this video! I'd like to add, that in addition to the idea of using cutting boards for the multi-hanger hack, iron-fused plastic bags from the grocery store can be used for projects and hacks requiring strong plastic - keeping them out of the oceans!
I saw this hack using the pull rings from soda cans so I saved some and it works great! I usually only hang 2 together but have a few with 3: tops hanging. It really helped my closet space.
I have my old “over- the- door-shoe-rack” holding all my costume jewelry. I am pruning out some of that type of thing and these racks hold several different other items. Thank you for sharing!
I’m going to be tackling my closet soon. My favorite tip was the shoe racks on the top of the closet shelf. I’m also going to be getting some of those cami hangers for my daughter and granddaughters for their closets.
love the hanger extender idea! my fur baby is a long haired doxie named Riley! he has also been lounging around as i organize and move into my new space😊
I agree the hangers are a game changer & asthically pleasing being all the same, plus thin space savers, the velvet helps to keep clothing on the hanger
Great ideas. I store off season sweaters in those clear bins with the cover. I also made a Jewelry holder like you have. Love the velcro closure. Thanks for your video...
Thank you!! I already have a pretty well-organized closet, but learning about those lights!! That's my game changer! and I've been using and in love with those ultra thin velvet hangars for years. Hint: you can find them as stackables too with little hooks that you can hang onto another with for shorter handing items that then ride in less space than if they were hund individually.
Looks amazing! Im definitely going to use some of these great ideas! I love how you include your husband's things! My husband has worked and sacrificed so much for us ( same with me) But he would never buy clothes or shoes and our children have grown and gotten married and moved out so i talked him into thrifting with me once a month and he now likes looking for good deals. He started with hunting and camping and fishing clothes and accessories then he discovered they had nice shirts and pants without costing too much. And he also looks for tools and for toys for our new grandchildren. Im glad you mentioned playing dress up because i decluttered too much and gave all my things that i didn't use but i forgot about what are my grandchildren going to play dress up with so we are beginning to stock up on that. I did save some family heirlooms but i gave most of those to my daughters and daughter in laws when they got married and my husband gave stuff to our sons and son in laws. We have Winston the rescue pekengnese who is 13 and sadly he's not as spunky as he used to be but he loves to go on walks and camping and hiking in his backpack which i wear! 😂😅 and we have Bingo the tuxedo cat and Meeshak the Ragdoll cat who sadly don't get to go but they won over my husband's heart 😂 and they love Winston and are very protective towards him! Hope you and your family are doing good during these trying times.
You are AMAZING! I loved ALL of your great ideas. I loved the light, and the shelves above your clothes bar. Everything you presented was so well thought out and truly a problem in a small closet, of which I have two. Thank you for ALL of your ideas. Tomorrow, I will look at my closet with fresh ideas and I thank you for sharing all of yours.
Wow! What an incredible difference! And you did it how us normal not wealthy folks would! I’m tired of watching shows of “Organizers” going into a Garage and organizing it! She’s a Kardashian I sure hope you can organize it with NO CASH LIMIT! I could organize any room with $45,000! smh 🤦🏻♀️ Or Reece Witherspoons kitchen! That show is extremely depressing. And insulting! You took very affordable and appropriate items and improved those closets. I’m now single after 30 yrs and before I moved I sold my bedroom furniture. The closet in my bedroom is pretty big so I never got a new dresser! Never needed one. But then I just started keeping my clothes in my tiny laundry room. It’s just me so it works! My W & D face each other. I put a broom handle across them. So now I hang shirts up as I pull them on the pole. My undies I simply toss in a bin I got at Dollar Tree 😊 I stopped folding yrs ago! Shorts (I live in FL) go in a bin next to the other one. Same with pjs. Tho, I usually just wear a tank top to bed! For dresses, Dollar Tree has over the door hooks and I use that! They now hang on the back of the door. Now I’m working on using my walk in closet as a storage room for seasonal stuff! For shoes I had to get real. I wear my Teva Flip Flops every day. I wear my sneakers maybe 2 times a year! I can’t remember the last time I wore heels or even boots. It’s just too hot! I apologize this reply is so lengthy. I’m new to your channel 😊 And I wanted to share my “out of the box” solution to my Closets! As for an Office? It’s a small 1bed/bath. I used the front hall closet. It’s small so I took a plastic shelf you’d normally use in a garage and put it in there. I removed the top shelf to fit it in underneath the rod. Now each shelf has its job. And no damage to the walls!! Happy Organizing 😊
I made a jewelry cork board. It is quite large, I love cheap jewelry! I strung wire across the top with screw loops and I hang my dangle earrings there. I then bought screw c hooks and screwed them all over, big and small c hooks. I then hung all of my necklace’s on these hooks. I put more near the bottom for bracelets. I then strung more wire at the bottom right hand side for smaller dangle earrings and seasonal ones that I don’t wear as often. In the end the cork board looks beautiful like sparkly art and I hung it in my room. Now I just walk up and choose what I’m going to wear and nothing is tangled. I don’t prefer post earrings so it wasn’t a problem at first. But I do have some and don’t want to keep them somewhere else. So on the top of the board I nailed some underlay It’s like dense foam, in a strip at the top and then i just push my post earrings at an angle downwards and so far they seem to stay put. I’ve also put broaches up there too. ❤
YES! Those are terrific and they hold up - long term - to the sliding of the hangers a lot better than any stick on vinyl. Also fantastic for shower curtain rods.
My jury caddy I mentioned in another comment I found on Amazon. My non-slip (reddish) burgundy clothes hangers are so pretty and from Amazon. That's a good idea that you're using as well. I luv how you do the shoes!! That's awesome!
Great job and ideas! I just found you and have been working on my closet on and off for almost a year. I am bookmarking you and will use many of your ideas. Thank you!!!
Wow Shannon you are very creative. These tips were awesome. I particularly like the shoe racks going up higher but the neatness of you zip-tying them is beyond. I love that looped necklace organizer, I didn’t know that existed. The acrylic boxes are so fancy looking but affordable. Thank you for these realistic truly helpful ideas. I ❤️no-fluff videos.
I enjoyed watching this video. I learned about how to make your purses stand, the hooks on the hangers with dollar tree cutting board, and the drawer organization…😊
Hi Shannon, love all of your ideas that you shared in this video!! Thank you! ❤️❤️ I'm going to use the pool noodle idea for my purses that you shared. That's a great idea! I just moved and I have a new closet that I am organizing. I brought the slim white hangers from Walmart for $2 for 10 hangers. I donated all my plastic hangers. The slim hangers save space in the closet.
Love the clear bins idea and the battery operated light strips. I have designed a closet using IKEA billy bookcases that wrap in a corner and having them installed by a carpenter. I think the clear bins and the light strips will elevate the bookcases to a more professional look.

I also changed my hangers to the thin velvet ones and learned the trick to place shoes toe to heel side by side and it’s amazing how much space is saved. I have small pocket closets in all my bedrooms so these tips come in handy. And my fur baby’s name is Samson.
Thanks for watching Marcella! Look for the shout out.
I store my shoes that way also. Sandals (Clark’s) I store sideways. Takes up a lot less room that way😊
I store my shoes one on top of the other, facing opposite directions. You have twice as much space that way, especially with sneakers!
When purchasing the canvas sorter hanging units, be sure to get the ones with 2 hooks/tabs. They hold up better and distribute the weight on the rod.
Yes
Organization is great. Purge half?! Or more of those shoes! Paint inside of closet a very bright gloss white. It will help. Better yet-ask landlord to redo that outdated dark closet. Love the doggie! So cute❤
Thanks for the tips!
I like the wire top hangers. I like the clear boxes and putting white paper on dowel.
Thanks Judith!
The matching hangers should be number 1. It's a game changer. These are all great tips! 🤩🤩
Ui
For those of us with annoying wire shelving in our closets or pantry, I buy cookie sheet pans at the dollar store to put under anything with legs, like the shoe rack for example.
Great idea!
I really liked what you said about this not being the end of my story and don't give up I think that was a very encouraging and thoughtful thing to say
My favorites in this video are covering the clothing bar with white contact paper or painting it white
And the lucite bins.
The closet looks really really nice you did a great job. 😊
I'm sure your husband was thrilled when he came home.
What kind words! Thank you.
Where did you buy the white hangers?
Excellent tips-I had cleaned my out weeks before
I bought those clear boxes from Walmart months ago love them- they are also easily accessible-stackable
That's great!
Great ideas! And you are so right. One of our main problems is that we have way too much stuff so, donate. Donate, donate! Before attempting to organize.
Thanks for watching, Joyce!
I use one of those 'cami' hangers to hang my scarf collection. Keeps them organized, and It's easy to get the one you need.
The shoe rack on the top shelf is just genius! Clear bins✅ new hangers ✅ pool noodles in purses✅ Well done!
Thanks so much Donna!
Exactly!!!
@@Cleverdish I was thinking exactly this! Surprised not an issue with most.
Seriously??? Would need to stand on a ladder to reach them!
Those cami organizers are pretty cool. I've never seen that idea!
Glad you like it Kim!
I think having all matching hangers makes a HUGE upgrade. One year I gave my friend wooden hangers (from IKEA) and she loved them.
Yes. Matching hangers make a HUGE impact on a closet makeover, and the flocked thin hangers are amazing. They prevent the clothing from falling on the floor, and it does add space in the closet.
Love that you put the vertical spaces to use!! No wasted space 💪🏾
Briana thx for watching!!
You have a lot of really great ideas, and I love how you divided the process up and even labeled the video sections! Easy to go back to if I need to refresh my memory! I'm going to start with the small unlit closets in my house and put in some light bars! Brilliant idea!💡
Thank you!
I really love putting the id card in the clear box!
I love the remote lights! and the clear storage bins- I am on a mission!
Me too!!
Some amazing tips @ hacks, Shannon! Especially love the lighting & those acrylic bins! Bella had me cracking up with her “done with this” pose!! 😂❤
She is such a character Monica! Thanks for watching.
@@shannonskiptomylife 🤣🐶💞
Your wardrobes are so large and you have so much room above the clothes rod. I'm green with envy! Your multiple hanging strips are genius. Lots of good ideas, thank you!!!🥰
Faodail thanks so much!
Once or twice a year, I hang all my clothes backward. As I wear and launder them I put the hanger the normal way. That way, I can clearly see which items I’m not wearing and are ready to donate.
I like the multiple hanger idea, saves a lot of space.
Thanks for watching!
I love how you think that's a tiny closet! :D
The hangers for strappy vest tops is a good idea. I'd seen those hangers in Wilko's and wondered what would fit on them. I currently roll my vest tops and keep them in the chest of drawers, but I think they'll be easier to access on a hanger.
I just bought one of those shoe racks from Walmart and i love it.
Me too!
Brilliant!
Letitic great idea!
I saw this hack using the pull rings from soda cans so I saved some and it works great! I usually only hang 2 together but have a few with 3: tops hanging. It really helped my closet space.
Best hack ever was the space saving hangers made out of cutting board plastic! EPIC! Great tips, thank you.
You made my day Beverly!
These tips were amazing. I will most definitely be using some of these ideas in my small closet
Awesome! Thank you!
That tip with saving space on your husband's shirts was BRILLIANT. I've been trying to collect specialized hangers! I would do much rather this.
I have my old “over- the- door-shoe-rack” holding all my costume jewelry. I am pruning out some of that type of thing and these racks hold several different other items.
Thank you for sharing!
So glad you liked it Lydia!
Cassie he is on my shout out list!
I mean, wisdom is a beautiful thing!
This was so nice! Thank you!
Zip ties to secure the shelving!? Love this idea 💡 👏 ❤️
Thanks Tracey!!
loved the shoe tree idea of putting them up on the shelf. never would have thought of that.
Thanks!
I use plastic chains for the hanging my tops on in my closet. I put the chains on shower hooks.
Love this idea Mickey!
You can also use tabs from aluminum cans. Soda, bubbly water, or whatever you drink. They work great!
I agree the hangers are a game changer & asthically pleasing being all the same, plus thin space savers, the velvet helps to keep clothing on the hanger
The lights are my favorite! Im currently using a lamp that takes up too much space.
Mary so glad you got some inspiration.
Great ideas. I store off season sweaters in those clear bins with the cover. I also made a Jewelry holder like you have. Love the velcro closure. Thanks for your video...
Wonderful!
Great tips! Thanks for watching.
What beautiful ideas you have! I will add your fur babies to the shout out list.
Kathy this is why I do this! Thank you so much!
I love all of your ideas, especially the idea for the special little someone.❤
Thanks Stacey!!
My undies I simply toss in a bin I got at Dollar Tree 😊
I stopped folding yrs ago!
You can also use plastic shower curtain rod covers to snap on over your closet rods. They’re plastic, sturdy, and easy to install.
I use To live those but I can't seem to find them anymore. Is there a store you regularly find them
@@kldissues Oops…I accidentally hit post before finishing. Other sites have them but they cost close to $20 each
@@kldissues Home Depot website
Home Depot had the white covers in the shower rod section for about $5.00. Hth! ❤
I love the ideas but really appreciate how you store your light remotes. Excellent. ✌️
So glad you got ideas!
We have a long haired Dachshund who does the same thing. It’s the ‘you’re so boring’ pose because, let’s face it, it’s all about them! 🐾🩷
Cathryn sooo true!!
I have two miniature schnauzers: Sammwise and Mousse! Love your tips. TFS.
Wendy they are on the shout out list!!
Great job and ideas! I just found you and have been working on my closet on and off for almost a year. I am bookmarking you and will use many of your ideas. Thank you!!!
Great ideas! Loves that one for the clear bins especially!
Pool noodle in bag is brilliant! We have same size closet space. Very useful tips.
Thank you so much 😊
Shannon, you have a gift! Thank you so much for sharing.
You made my day!
I enjoyed watching this video. I learned about how to make your purses stand, the hooks on the hangers with dollar tree cutting board, and the drawer organization…😊
That is awesome!
Hi Shannon, love all of your ideas that you shared in this video!! Thank you! ❤️❤️
I'm going to use the pool noodle idea for my purses that you shared. That's a great idea! I just moved and I have a new closet that I am organizing. I brought the slim white hangers from Walmart for $2 for 10 hangers. I donated all my plastic hangers. The slim hangers save space in the closet.
I agree Noemi!
You will come out better buying the 50 pack from Sam's club.
All sensible & easy solutions, covered in a short video! Thank you.
Yvonne so glad you liked it
Love the clear bins idea and the battery operated light strips. I have designed a closet using IKEA billy bookcases that wrap in a corner and having them installed by a carpenter. I think the clear bins and the light strips will elevate the bookcases to a more professional look.
Great ideas Donna!
