are you kidding me??? I've been looking for ages for stackable containers that are affordable and big enough for things like spare toiletries, medical supplies, etc. and here you are blowing my mind with this container and party tree hack. THANK YOU. game changer. I see so many organization videos that boast organization on a budget but then you have to pay a small fortune for the containers you need. This is great.
This is honestly the most realistic and practical dollar tree storage video I have ever seen. I almost did not click on it but now I'm really glad that I did. Thank you for this.
FYI, the reason Mr. Rogers mentioned feeding the fish is that a kid who loved the show happened to be blind and wrote in because she was concerned. From then on he said it out loud for her to hear. A true gentleman
Hey Bethany I got a huge smile on my face when you showed the lids of jars screwed to a piece of wood. My dad and mom were doing that in the 60's. Mom used baby food jars and lids for screws, tacks, and what not. Dad used them in the garage for different size nail, nuts and bolts. He also used the large plastic spaghetti jars and lids for his electrical items. He was a mechanic in the service than an electrician. I was actually thinking about it for my craftroom. TFS. Great ideas as always. Have a fabulous weekend! Take care ♥️ Blessings
Putting that tray on top of those locker bins is genius!! My grandmother in the early 70's used jars with the lids screwed under shelves to store so many things, she was an organizing queen. I wish I had inherited that trait! Thanks for sharing your ideas. There are several things you showed I have never seen at any of my Dollar Trees, I'll have to look closer.
@@rondamurphy671 My dad had the Gerber jars too! Talk about hacks! He was born 1919, mom 1924. They reinvented/ reused/ refinished in the most artistic, practical ways. Good times. Thank you Bethany. You inspire me.
Bethany: The hack withthe pencil cases and notebook rings was genuis, and immediately made me think of using it to store some of my small craft supplies. Just the tip I needed as I recently downsized to an apartment.
Bethany you have such a creative mind. Now I’ve got to get to DT!! You asked about a large collection of scarves. I guess I must have. When we first moved I was showing my son around & he said “Mom why do have so many? You need to get rid of some! I also want to comment about bathroom organization. I have a vanity with a chair. The vanity has a drawer & a section with 2 shelves. I needed something for cotton balls & q-tips, I bought some smaller jars (comparable to a jelly jar) I used those for the items I mentioned & I keep the lid on those also. I also have 2 more for putting my make up brushes in one & the other for my eyeliner pencils, eyebrow pencil & mascara. For the last 2 I used a larger jar. It really works nicely to keep every thing organized. One other item I use for organizing isn’t DT but think it’s worth mentioning. I repurpose used prescription bottles. I use them for holding dental floss, floss picks as well as different items in small tubes like oral gel, triple antibiotics etc. They can also help keep your purse organized. You can keep it for hair bands, loose change, hard candy, storing a few Tylenol, a few bandaids etc. Or if you have kids I’m sure there are lots of things to use them for. PS I clean & dry them & remove the labels before using them.
about screwing lids into/onto wood, to hang glass jars full of nails, screws, etc: That was a very popular thing to do in the 1950's, 1960's. My Dad was a true HandyMAn, and he and his friends were subscribers to the Do-It-Yourself books, so popular during the 50's and 60's. I can't remember the name of the books, but I do remember looking at the instructions to hang glass jars from wood pieces. I consider myself very fortunate to have a Dad who shared with me, how to maintain a house and property, since I was 9 years old. He even taught me how to maintain the cars (I could take apart and put together a carburetor). And I'm a girl!! Thanks for sharing!

Back in the day, we used baby food jars to sort nails and screws, hung under a wooden shelf. Also great for sorting buttons and beads. I also cut the tops off empty tissue boxes to sort socks, etc., in my drawers.
I have about 30-40 scarves so those hangers look great ! And by the way: this is the best organizational video using Dollar Tree resources I’ve seen to date - thank you!
I have about 100 scarves and I’ve tried everything to get the usefully organized but still haven’t gotten a good way… the pre-made scarf holders get so crowded and wbd up taking up too much space so I finally just put them in about 8 or 10 clear plastic bins and barely use bc it’s too much trouble to dig out
great ideas! One thing I got at my Dollar tree were two over-the-door hooks for my office french doors. I found a nice patterned shower curtain at Dollar Tree and cut it in half down the middle. Since shower curtains already have holes at the top, it was easy to hang onto the hooks and now I have privacy in my office.
If only the Dollar Trees I shop had the items these UA-camrs use. BTW I am in N.C but lived in Va before. No knobs,no under cab. Paper towel holders many more items I look for between 2 states.
I love those "locker" style storage bins from DT, but didn't like that I couldn't stack them. The idea of using the trays to make lids for them, and therefore stackable, is going to be an absolute game changer for my closet (which is currently a mish-mash of whatever I could find). Wow Bethany. I love scarves. I have a total of 72 and that’s after donating 50 or so. I have them in all shapes and sizes. I use them as belts, hair ties, swim suit covers, skirts, wraps. The possibilities are endless. When traveling a stack of them doesn’t even take up the space of one pair of jeans. Game changer. I even have the one from Dollar Tree with Sea Turtles framed. My dad had 4 of those boards with the jars when I was growing up. He could find anything in less than a minute. Keep up the good work.
To make over the door hooks fit, buy felt pieces, cut it to size and glue it to the back of the over the door hook. It protects the door and takes up the slack. Win win!

Im a crocheter, and i made my own shoe storage racks 1:14 like this using white worsted acrylic yarn and a hook… not as easily damage-able as the store-bought ones with the plastic AND added bonus it is machine-washable and-dryable!
I'm so glad this popped up on my fyp! Trying to figure out how to organize my first home and it's been overwhelming and expensive. Change of plan now! Thank you! As a Pittsburgh native, I'm obsessed with the Mr Rogers intro! Love it, too cute! 🥰
Great video Bethany! Love the intro. 😉 I have the broom holders that I saw on Kathryn's channel a while back. She used them to hang curtains! I sawed mine into 3 pieces (using the dollar tree saw) it's easier than I thought. I now have 2 pieces to use for my curtains plus that middle hook I used in the bathroom to hang towels. I bought 3 total. It's enough to hang curtains all the way across my windows! I have white broom sticks, and one 'regular' curtain rod for the curtains. They won't be seen either. Plus I'm collecting TP rolls. These go in between the curtains to make the space above even. Hope this makes sense. I'll have to get some things you showed here too! Thanks again Bethany! 😁💜
I love your videos. You seem genuine and very relatable to actual dollar tree consumers. Your home seems like a normal family home. I dislike videos with homes that look like upscale farm house style model homes. Thank you for all the great tips!
Great ideas, Bethany. I have used the Dollar Tree version of Command Hooks, and the adhesive damaged my surfaces when I removed it. Just a warning to anyone else - the DT hooks are fine, but I prefer the brand name adhesive strips to use with them.
I use the cat litter boxes (new not used lol) and dish barrels from dollar tree on the bottom shelf of my fridge. One is a meat bin for all my uncooked meat. The other is a leftover bin.
Oh my goodness pencil cases! awesome way to organize my kids little pieces of everything and it looks so much cuter than ziplock bags! Also the shower rings for tank tops genius!
Bethany thanks for your helpful organizational tips. I'm moving and these affordable tips are a must for my new place. I appreciate that you always include small spaces organizing. I've watched other ones but they don't include small spaces and the products they use are so expensive. Tnx😁😊💗💓
This mop and broom holder is a GOD SEND. I put this in our front closet where we store our sports things along with our coats and mine and my husbands 28oz baseball bats hold up with these! So great! It also made my broom situation better in the cleaning supply closet.y dustpan always banged into our vacuum and came off of the broom. So annoying! Problem fixed now! I’ve been trying to find the large stackable bins and can’t find them anywhere! Been to 2 dollar trees. There’s one last one in my city I have to check out. Let’s hope it’s there!
The 3 compartment organizer made into a lazy Susan is my favorite bc it's perfect for craft supplies. Also, the bday party decor looked like you spent a fortune, esp the laundry basket w/balloons. You're a true artist:) Thanks for all you do
2 minutes in and if you have spare cardboard lying around the house, you can totally use it to give your large storage bag some shape! Mainly on the bottom, and all 4 sides. Might even make it easier to hold? Love these!! Ugh! I want to figure out when & where I’m going to move already so I can start planning out how I want to decorate my home 😄 I am refraining from buying more stuff until we move.
I actually have a small scarf collection for fall and winter. I get the $1 tree scarfs and add them to my warm scarves and now it look more decorative when i wear a scarf for warmth.
HOLY smokes TONS of great ideas! That shower ring hack on the hanger🤌🏽 is priceless!!👌🏽 I will definitely be doing this! I own a TON of lightweight dresses and onesies. So this is gonna really work for me! Thanks for yet another amazing genius idea Bethany! Blessings ✌🏽💕🕊️
I have tried that hack and hated it. Lol i used it for tank tops. They would always slide to one side and make the hanger sideways. I couldnt stand it. I like all my hangers matching and even.
@@leaelizabeth23 Interesting.🤔 Now that you explained it, I can see that becoming a problem? Maybe I could add some clothespins on the rings so they don't slide around? But I'm about to move to a new place with limited closet space and I own enough clothes to clothe 3 people 🤭. So I'll try anything to figure it out. Plus I'm the absolute worst at organizing! I'm a clean fanatic but👎🏽 horrible at the other half!🤷🏽♀️
@@melissadean2248i am a clean fanatic too and i try to organize but it always seems to take more than $1 to do it 😅 i dont own many clothes really. All my clothes fit in a 2.5ft long hanging bar plus some pajama shorts and undergarments not hanging up. Only because i havent been able to find clip hangers. Maybe clothespins would help. They may just slide off the hanger though. Unless maybe you take a drill bit the same diameter as your rod almost to add a larger spot for it to rest on the clothespin. If that makes sense. But otherwise i would think they will slide off. Maybe not if you use the very thin clothes hangers. Mine are all black plastic ones, thicker white ones for pants and heavier clothing, and then clip hangers for shorts and a skirt i own. It was very annoying when i tried the ring trick though for my tank tops! If you find a way around it please let me know because it does make it a lot less work to throw them on the hanger on the rings but i could not handle them all sliding to one side and the hanger sitting lopsided. 😂 wayyy too much of a neat freak for that.
I am truly amazed at this. I am doing a lot of cleaning and organizing and I don't want to spend too much money. You have inspired me so much!! Thank you!

Yes Bethany I am one of those people who have a large collection of scarves. 😂I have them loosely slip knotted on the bottom of the hanger. And sometimes on the top of the hanger. Love your videos. You inspire me to get better organized! Thank you for sharing your ideas.
My biggest take aways were the 2 piece stackable bin/tray, layered under the sink bins (may do that for my tea on the counter), pencil/brush holder, and more ideas for the slim book bins (I have my pot holders in mine)
Happy Thankful Thursday Bethany! Thanks a bunch for sharing your awesome ideas and hacks for the home, my house is very small, I'm always looking for storage space! 🙏🏽👍🏼👍🏼🤗
Bethany, my father had a workshop in the back yard. He had rows of the jar organization. He used baby food jars nailed to wood to hold his “tid bits” (nails screws, etc). I always thought it was genius also.
I have a HUGE scarf collection. I went crazy about 20 or 25 years ago and started buying scarves from VERA🐞 (Her signature and a ladybug are on some of the scarves). It's not a "Vera" that is around these days, she was big in the 60's I think. The fridge bins are some of my favorite items; I've also learned that some of them fit nicely in the bottom of a backpack or even a purse, to give it a firm, flat bottom to sit upon.
I have a lot of scarves (I flourish I the fall). And the scarf organizers were a huge step up from a wire hanger that creases the scarves and allows them to get jumbled and lost in the chaos. They saved me a ton of time and stress.
I love that stackable hack. I remember going to Dollar Tree with one of my friends and I insisted that the bins were stackable and sat in the middle of the aisle trying to prove they were stackable. They do have handles, but the handles were just short of allowing them to be stacked. He kept telling me they weren't stackable and was laughing at me, but I just didn't want to believe it. But, lo and behold, you found a way to make them stackable!
I have also gotten zippered bags from the thrift store. People often give away promotional ones. It’s nice that they’re fabric, so I can throw them in the wash if needed. But I love that for organizing her tiny toys by type.
The wreath storage hack was awesome! I keep mine in my outdoor shed and they get dusty and sometimes squished and lose their form. I have plenty of wall space higher up, so this would be awesome for that. 👍🏻
Hey Bella! 😃 I forgot to say this in the video! If you put a lot like I did, bend the paper towel holder up. That way they won’t slide off. I went yesterday to Dollar Tree to buy more cause it works so much better cause mines just get squished in storage too.
I have a huge scarf collection. Some are vintage; some holiday; some are basic go-to pieces. However, I would never use a "scarf hanger" because scarves may snag when yanking them out. (I am always in a hurry.) Instead, I have 2 small stackable plastic tubs with kids (both 9×14×11). Scarves are "curled" up and stacked so I can quickly find what I am looking for. Also, I sort scarves by season and put away the tub with out-of-season scarves and keep the "in season" tub by my shoes.
Thanks Amy! She has useful tips! I use a lot of those ideas. New to me trays to stack bins…brilliant! Putting a pic over the top of hooks and gluing knobs on lids. Love it. ❤ I use the dish racks mounted on the wall in my laundry room like a shelf bending each wire up slightly. I use DT mop/broom pieces. After I pull the mop and broom (yes broom) heads out of washer i put each piece on a “shelf” to dry and store. 🎉

Im a crocheter, and i made my own shoe storage racks 1:14 like this using white worsted acrylic yarn and a hook… not as easily damage-able as the store-bought ones with the plastic AND added bonus it is machine-washable and-dryable!
Ran over here so fast. Plan to do some organizing this weekend.

Mind blown about using the trays to make the bins stackable! Thanks!
That lazy Susan water beads trick was great 👍
Great ideas, Bethany. I have used the Dollar Tree version of Command Hooks, and the adhesive damaged my surfaces when I removed it. Just a warning to anyone else - the DT hooks are fine, but I prefer the brand name adhesive strips to use with them.
Thank you!!
I use the cat litter boxes (new not used lol) and dish barrels from dollar tree on the bottom shelf of my fridge. One is a meat bin for all my uncooked meat. The other is a leftover bin.
Love Mr Rogers!!! You really got me in the mood to reorganize my craft room!!! Love the idea of the lid organizing creation!!
Thank you for sharing how to make those big bins *stackable*! 🤩 I had not yet heard that trick. Fabulous!
5:18 Shower ring clothing hack, I feel like you solved life long battle of slippery clothes and clothes that just hate hangers period. Thank you!
Oh my goodness pencil cases! awesome way to organize my kids little pieces of everything and it looks so much cuter than ziplock bags! Also the shower rings for tank tops genius!
I am a scarf person. Definitely in the fall...they are the perfect accessory so I don't have to wear necklaces.🥰
You're a true artist:) Thanks for all you do
I have watched 100 hundreds and hundreds of Dollar store DIY and yours is absolutely the best I've ever seen you are so absolutely wonderful
Love both you and Do It On a Dime! Always inspiring me to make little changes to get organized
Thank you for this hack!!
Twisting pipe cleaners around the rings onto the hangers will help keep everything from sliding around.
@@leaelizabeth23 I use a tie rack for all of my tanks. Great visibility with quick access.
Omg!! I love to see that you can put a tray on top and make those containers stackable!!
Great hack ideas 😊 Thank you for sharing your creativity with us 😊❤️
I am truly amazed at this. I am doing a lot of cleaning and organizing and I don't want to spend too much money.
You have inspired me so much!!
Thank you!
WOW!!! I love the pencil case idea. What a great way to store so many things. Gotta think outside the box (or pencil case, as the case may be). 😂
Large zip lock bags would be better, can see what is inside, and less expensive
I absolutely love your ideas.
I'm truly amazed at how you can come up with so many crafting ideas/hacks/decor...... Videos.
I think your channel is the best in this category. 💕
I bought the trays and used it on those locker bins and it works great!
Hi 👋 Ana how are you doing?
O wow❤ur really good and creative like me😁thanks for sharing really cool stuff!!!
I would die to live in your home so filled with your love & dedication & your wonderful hygiene & high standards. Must be heaven. The people in your inner circle are truly blessed
Totally used your locker bin and party tray hack in the kids room. It worked so well!!!!! Love your ides!
Yes Bethany I am one of those people who have a large collection of scarves. 😂I have them loosely slip knotted on the bottom of the hanger. And sometimes on the top of the hanger. Love your videos. You inspire me to get better organized! Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Hello Bethany I love when I see a video of yours pop up these are some really good tips and ideas for the home you are always helpful 👍👍👍
Okay but the pool stuff on the hooks on the fence is so smart!
Bethany you are an organizational genius! These are my favorite videos of your besides Christmas diys!!! Thank you!!!
My biggest take aways were the 2 piece stackable bin/tray, layered under the sink bins (may do that for my tea on the counter), pencil/brush holder, and more ideas for the slim book bins (I have my pot holders in mine)
This summer I will be using your ideas for my craft room, which is my Closed in back porch. So awesome Beth
I think This is by far the best video , you have ever published! PHENOMENAL JOB BETHANY 💯
The bins with the tray lids!
Awesome hacks! I need to clear counter space and your ideas come in so handy!! I am definitely a Fetch girl too🐕❤️
I have a HUGE scarf collection.
You are inspiring me to get organizing!
I have a lot of scarves (I flourish I the fall). And the scarf organizers were a huge step up from a wire hanger that creases the scarves and allows them to get jumbled and lost in the chaos. They saved me a ton of time and stress.
Yes and yes Bethany thank you for the ideas 😍
I love that stackable hack. I remember going to Dollar Tree with one of my friends and I insisted that the bins were stackable and sat in the middle of the aisle trying to prove they were stackable. They do have handles, but the handles were just short of allowing them to be stacked. He kept telling me they weren't stackable and was laughing at me, but I just didn't want to believe it. But, lo and behold, you found a way to make them stackable!
Wow thanks so much! Im glad you liked all the projects!
I love Fetch!!! The rewards come in a few days and are so easy to use. Love all of the great ideas too ❤️
It takes forever to get 10,000 points
🎉I use the patty trays on my fridge shelves to catch spills and crumbs. Easy to clean. They look nice and I can empty and clean each tray as needed. 🎉
I enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree! I am so glad there is a Dollar Tree close to my neighborhood.🌳
Bethany you have blown my mind! So many fabulous storage hacks! Thank you so much
You are welcome Connie!
