don't know where my last comment went, but there are analysis out there that says the job increases are all part time jobs and full time jobs actually declined slightly

But the problem is that if they can't get the unemployment number up they can't get the inflation number down. If they are successful in keeping the issue under cover until after the election they will have to land the plane at the 75° angle and everyone will know why these always end in a crash rather than a soft plan

Man i sure was looking forward to my mortgage payments going down, but i knew better. Trudeau and Biden have been consistently doing the opposite of what needed to be done to bring inflation under control.
Please stop spreading misinformation - the central banks are independent from the government, so Biden and Trudeau have nothing to do with it. In fact, the current federal reserve chair was appointed by Trump. You're just conveniently fitting your post to your uninformed, right-wing narratives.
I don’t disagree - Biden and Trudeau, both have policies that are inflationary, although you have to keep in mind that Trudeau’s policies have been much worse. Even Canadian conservatives are still left of American Democrats.

It's an election year, there will be at least 1 rate cut, if not 2 otherwise the script would be different.

@@NolanMatthias If Powell comes out and says there will be no rate cuts this year, the stock market is going to drop big. That is not good for a sitting president's re-election campaign. Minnesota Fed can say what he wants, it doesn't mean Powell will go along.
While theoretically the Fed is independent, he is appointed by the President.
Michelle bowmen just came out and said they may need to raise rates. She is a voting member of the FOMC. Although I don’t think they will raise it and they could just be sounding tough to calm the markets. But they won’t cut just because of election year
While this time may be different, apparently the Fed has never lowered rates in an election year before.

Trudeau definitely doesn’t have a clue. The fed is just fighting a fight that is constantly changing.
Everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the face. Central banks keep getting punched over and over again.

There never was going to be rate cuts, rates will go up !! Only these UA-camrs were promoting rate cuts. Do they think they are a bank? Lol..
It's like they are saying I'm going to drop my labor rates this year. Lololol, not happening guys.
