What I love about tennis is the story a match tells. That's actually why the scoring system is so great, contrary to what others may think. Each game is a paragraph, each set a chapter. I say this because often times, highlight videos don't tell the story of the match, only some half-assed cliff notes. But not your videos, you do such a great job of telling the story of the match through your videos. It's sometime no other tennis highlight channel does, it's really quite unique. Thank you for the effort you put into your videos.

Isners serve was difficult to defend mostly because of his height. He was able to attack from angles that were unusual and very hard to defend. Similar to Randy Johnson pitching in baseball.

He's most probably not 5'7", as many discussions have shown. It's a known fact that the official ATP data are very often bogus, plus studies prove that men often lie about their height. 5'7" is 170 cm, and 170 cm is the most common, cliched height that many short men, including famous leaders in the world, report as their height, even if they're under 170 cm, as 170 cm is the psychological boudary, anything less is "really short".

Diego could have won this if he put more pressure on himself to break Isner. He also made some unforced errors at crucial times which caused a shift in momentum in Isner’s thinking; changing Isner’s mindset into a more positive one during the game causing him to win service games which he could have potentially lost, resulting in a break of his service. This match underscores the importance of the mindset of top players like Rafael Nadal who put immense pressure on themselves to win every single point when their opponent is serving from the starting of the match; till the end when playing against tennis players from the taller end of the height spectrum in the sport of tennis like John Isner and Milios Raonic who are also often top servers in the sport.

Wait, I'm confused. 7:50 - how are they only playing with 4 balls? Playing with only 4 balls is going to change how quickly they wear before the new balls come out. That's going to give the counter puncher an advantage over the big server. Isner is correct - you're supposed to have six balls in rotation, so what is the umpire talking about?

It was really the line judge. That’s why there is the challenge system. Also, the reason why he had them replay the point (not giving the point to shwar) was because the line judge called it out before Isner hit the ball. Yes it was very close to the time isner hit it, but out of principle the umpire had to give benefit of the doubt. Hope that clarifies things
