Fantastic review, I'm in between this or a camaro, and you sold me on the mustang so far. I just wish there were a similar review for a Camaro SS convertible to compare.
I've got a Civic coupe that occasionally ferries my infant son. Rear-facing kid seats and coupes do not mix. Getting him in/out of the car is a pain, especially when that drivers seat doesn't automatically slide forward. Then factor in the low roof line, the whole ordeal is an exercise in frustration. Anyway, fun video. Keep it up.
I feel your pain... it was tough getting a kid in and out. But the fun to horsepower to dollar ratio was pretty unbeatable in this car. Thanks for watching.
Another excellent vid., please keep them coming. This is a really nice Mustang and for a muscle car it tested better than the Camaro and Dodge Challenger in the IIHS's crash tests. It is good thing that they are now testing these vehicles and within a year or two all 3 of these vehicles should be a lot safer as a result of their published tests. I wanted to ask you when you quote vehicle prices are you quoting Canadian dollars?
No footage of that, Sandeep. But I'll tell you, it was a very challenging install. I basically had to do it just by touch because the back seat is pretty tight.
Not a top performer in IIHS tests, for sure. It hasn't received the Top Safety Pick Plus rating from that organization because of average results on front overlap collisions but otherwise, it got good (that's the best) in all other areas. Here's a link: www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/ford/mustang-2-door-coupe/2016
And here's an article from the IIHS about muscle car's safety performance in general: www.iihs.org/iihs/news/desktopnews/flexing-muscle-sports-car-ratings-show-range-of-performance
Look at BMW 3 series, worst www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/bmw/3-series-4-door-sedan or acura TLX etc... Those are relatively new crash tests ( small overlap)
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do
This is my life mustang convertible, 2 kid seats in the back but no v8.
This is one the best, honest reviews I’ve watched, and it answered many of the questions I had. And also it’s cool that it’s from Calgary 👍

Thanks for watching... yes, quoting in Canadian dollars (before tax)
Do the front seats recline all the way back?
Not all the way flat but quite a bit.
How about road noise when the roof is up or did I miss that?
The noise I monitored was with the roof up. We didn't test a top down dB count. Thanks for watching!
First of all , a excellent video , do you have a footage of installing a car seat in your mustang
No footage of that, Sandeep. But I'll tell you, it was a very challenging install. I basically had to do it just by touch because the back seat is pretty tight.
Family Wheels oh ! , thanks for the reply .
After seing the crash test of the mustang i changed my mind about It ....not safe at all
