with your selected headlight position you are very close to the H Shadow headlight bracket mount. My 90's VLX600 has the headlight bracket installed directly on the bottom triple tree. and it may work very fine for your CB400.Good luck.
Hi, I will actually go even lower. I think I have found a way to mount the headlight so the bottom part of it is actually lower than the bottom triple tree :-) The original headlight on the Honda Shadow is btw very nice, no need to buy aftermarket part if you have one of those 😁
