      Build up your reps slowly. Don't force 100 reps if you can't physically do it. When I started, I struggled doing just 50 reps. And remember to give yourself rest days. Other people just wish to protect you incase you overtrain and end up with injuries. While I recommend a high volume, I don't recommend rushing it. Take. Your. Time. Good luck brother

    He made a valid point when he said he was ugly now think about this. If he said that about his self all these videos we see these guys changing their bodies with exercise and all that. My question which has been for a while which is are they doing it to be excepted by people and the attention or are they doing it to remain as healthy as they can.
    To me what l am seeing are guys exercise now to attract girls, to attract guys, because they feel unexpected, they think they are ugly, some have no confidence, some struggle with being social and all that. This is a form of a case somewhat of mental disturbance. You doing all that to feel excepted isn't worth it in most cases. You can just hear a lot of them just talk and can hear they have some what a personal issue with something. A lot of them post their videos for the world to see it boost their ego and their drive.
    Not to take away the results it gives them looking very nice, but what's good in having a nice body and an unbalanced mind 😮.
    Every one as myself isn't fascinated with an attractive body because their mind set is limited all they know is wanting to work out and wanting attention from people. That get bored and it makes you unattractive in the long run is why you see a lot of people like this in countless relationships or random partners sexually because they will never be totally satisfied because they feel it's better and when the problem is them.
    Like l said he is very attractive but just his way of talking for example isn't as pleasing to my ear which says looking physically attractive isn't what everyone is into in my opinion.

    Thanks for your videos man. Got a question. Is total reps more important than the number of reps and sets when it comes to your pull-up and dip routine? For example I could do 10x10 and that would give me 100 pullups. Or I could do 15, 12, 10, 8, 5, 5, 8, 10, 12. This would still give me 100 total pullups. Assuming I rested the same between each set, would the gains still be the same since it's still 100 reps for both workout routines?

    • @Caliversity
      @Caliversity  Рік тому +5

      The numbers per set determine your endurance, the numbers in total determine your muscle growth.
      Two athletes that did 100 pull ups will have the same growth but the athlete who did it in 30 minutes will build better endurance than the one who did it in 60 minutes

    • @kjellman96
      @kjellman96 Рік тому

      @@Caliversity So you don't think failure plays a part in muscle growth just the total volume of work you're doing?
      Have you tried the different approaches?

    • @7966914
      @7966914 Рік тому

      Hmmm, I'm not fully convinced hypertrophy is just determined by total number of reps.
      Everything I've heard says that intensity/being close to failure is one of the most important parts for muscle growth.
      Let's take another example.
      Imagine an athlete does 5 pullups every hour for ten hours. He's gonna have 50 reps by the end of the day (and probably never got close to failure).
      And now imagine that same athlete did 3 sets of 12 pullups with only 3 minutes rest between (36 total reps). And let's imagine that by the third set he was very close to failure.
      I still think the second rep scheme will create better gains because he's getting closer to failure (even with fewer reps)
      Curious to hear your thoughts on that.

    • @kjellman96
      @kjellman96 Рік тому

      Thats basically a high rep drop set. I don't suggest doing one number differences unless you are training for an endurance competition. The drop set routine in one of my previous videos has the optimal rep range(15-12-10-8-5)

    Love what you are doing here and just subscribed. Wanted to ask you, at what time of the day do you usually start working out?
