The first 30 seconds answered this question properly lol. Like when I was new to eidolon hunting I kept looking at videos and copying people’s builds. Then realized it all doesn’t matter once you get good enough mods. You can use any and all weapons as long as your volt is jacked. Kill times differ in the seconds at most lol.
I was actually thinking about this, since I just got my zenith and the rubico prime is available through prime resurgence. Loved the necramech skin btw. Was shocked when you sent it in the clan chat so this is what it was for.
@@TheDragonfriday You used to be able to do a meme build with the vulkar wraith where you´d use primed chamber and its augment Lasting purity for a total of 160% bonus final damage. That, along with a 1.4 riven dispo and its high base damage allowed you to oneshot limbs with no combo at all which made it pretty sick for solo runs. The build was a meme but definitely fun to use. Havent played in a while, I dont know how viable it is now
I'm inlove with Valkyr, and in my infinite cope, I'm trying to make her good at hunting Eidolons. Pure melee. It works! Sometimes... other times I get stuck rifling through Grineer camps for energy to use Hysteria, but when I turn on my monkey brain and position properly, I can jump up and slide through a limb for a oneshot. That is, on the first Eidolon... Second and third are a bit different, they're much bigger, so I can't actually 'reach' their arms. Would you happen to know if hunting Eidolons using melee only is viable in any way? Cuz I'm hurting here. I wanna use Valkyr for everything, but this seems to be an obstacle with no clear answer.
I could write a very long answer to this but for the sake of my sanity I'll keep it short. When it comes to eidolons, it's not about weaponry, it's about abilities and frames (as people like Mr Phoenix have proven time and again). I appreciate the want to play a particular frame, but as you've discovered valkyr will fall short on energy etc. She will work in a squad, but not solo. The reason we tend to play volt is he ticks all the boxes for solo hunting (weapon platform abilities, good energy efficiency and control, and the only frame who can buff operator amp damage, and high speed for archwing etc.). If you are struggling specifically with energy though, you could just take some energy pads with you (more expensive but should make things smoother) :)
does the gaze secondary work like the vermi splicer ?? , i have crit rate , fire rate , crit damage -neg ammomax(doesnt matter cause i run pax charge) riven ?
You glossed right over the armor strip part that Im really stumped on. How many vastilok shots for each eidolon with what rank shaterring impact to nearly full strip for radiation damage?
@@jacsonitos5420 Ok this is why im confused, the eidolns have 125 130 150 armor values respectively. 9 x 4 = 36 so 3 shots is 108, 4 shots is 144, 5 shots is 180. Thats over stripping the second and third eidolon?
@@joeleeman9886 those armor values don't sound right, have you taken into account that they spawn at lvl 50, 55 and 60 respectively (if my memory serves me correctly)?

its kills not headshots, and yeah idk why hes using it. i just replaced it with the standard split chamber. also unsure of why the amalgam serration. but! whatever floats his boat.
Maybe I’m just bad, but I get a lot of gray hits whenever going for limbs with rubico. Makes me want the zenith so badly. Any advice? It’s okay if the advice is “get better” lol
I think it's a hitbox thing. It looks like I'm shooting the limb, but really another hitbox from another part of the eido body is blocking the shot. Sorry, that's what I mean by gray numbers. I can easily 1 shot limbs when this doesnt happen. @@jacsonitos5420
I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure you could find a vid of someone like Mr Phoenix using it on Eido hunts. I'm personally not a huge fan of high fire rate weapons (except on Terry) and much prefer the guaranteed one-bangs :)
You are not really that eidolon guy if you only use volt for 6x3. Like everyone easily does that. Meta has come to a point where optimize build doesnt really matter as long as you use volt 6x3 is easy. Guides doesnt matter for volt

voidrig is actually pretty good, the 4 just does so much damage that its probably the best option for a newer player
I started out using lanka before I got my rubico and it felt pretty good for a starter weapon

Rubico P.- easier to use because hitscan
Zenith- a speedrunner's best friend
After seeing the guy who used Ignis, I’m convinced this is possible with the MK-1 Kunai now if you build correctly 😂
Unfortunately the eclipse nerf has made this all a bit trickier :'(
Vulkar Wraith is the correct answer
Explain, I'm gonna add forma on all weapons anyways

Mind sending me this build
I've been using felarx and it's pretty spicy.
Yeah, I have Felarx on my relaxed Trinity build. It is far from fastest setup, but it makes it rather easy to learn the fights.

Radiation Kuva Hind is my go to. On Semi it has great crits.

That Eidoshredder Riven, 60 rerolls 😭😭😭
ppl are sleeping on velocitus it can can often oneshot synovias without dmg boost or rivens.
You glossed right over the armor strip part that Im really stumped on. How many vastilok shots for each eidolon with what rank shaterring impact to nearly full strip for radiation damage?
Max Rank Shattering impact = 2 shots terry, 3 shots Gant and Hydro. Rank 3 shattering impact = 3 shots terry, 4 shots gant, and 5 shots hydro (which will achieve much lower armor values)

In doubt just use Dual Grakata for extra dps
Laetum just laetum

The zenith has a lower crit chance than the rubico prime.
