Is Exodia Contagion Still Good in 2024?!

I love exodia contagion I was an addict for like a couple months, but then they made it so that you couldn’t heavy attack with it at all because they fixed air heavy attacks so now I no longer use it lmao

I've been using exodia contagion on Wisp, Zephyr, and Styanax. I think the most interesting interaction I have is using Zephyr's passive to get enough crit with a riven to be right around 100% crit chance, and melee duplicate. Since her tornadoes don't care what level of crit a hit is and will always have a 2x multiplier on a crit, hitting twice is more effective. So its something like 20x damage per tornado hit. Then there are the viral and other status procs (heat in my case) from the weapon and tornadoes. I used a Kronsh because of the high riven disposition and the fact exodia contageon really doesnt care about the damage type of the weapon. It also makes a polearm to use Boreal's Contempt for damage/status damage, since im already using the rest of the set for damage reduction.

this thing was insane with pre eclipse nerf , just easy millions of damage. Been using exodia contagion as main source of damage for almost everything for so many years.

Yes I've done a fair amount of testing and I've managed to proc modded stats with the AoE quite a few times

It's still good if you don't get this to use with grineer. 😂 I always use this arcane with corpus or infested but grineer is so bad.

From my testing, not very worth it. Takes too long to build up to a fraction of the damage you get from the other arcanes. The good news is, there's very few bad arcanes for a contagion weapon.
