I have a local GM dealer here and it’s the only one within 100 miles and they were refusing to negotiate on the Colorados and Canyons. I looked outside of the market and found a lot of dealers who had them marked down $4-6000 off of MSRP. So I copied a link to those dealers offers and sent them to my local dealer and told them that I don’t want to travel to get a deal done but I will if it saves me $4-6000 OTD. Long story short I got them to agree on a fully loaded 2024 Colorado ZR2 (51,000) down to 46,000 OTD all fees included. The best part is I never called them or had to talk to anyone. I did it all through Email. If a dealership says you need to be there in person to negotiate, you should move on to a dealer that respects a potential customers time. You should always try to get 5-10% off of MSRP no matter what👌
local Toyota dealership was giving $4K off MSRP 4Runners, but had $6K in port add-ons and $1.2K in dealer add-ons that I did not want to pay. I found one higher trim for $9k off MSRP in Iowa. I drove 600 miles to pick it up. 2024 4Runners are no longer being made until the new model. I did not want to get a new model. That is why I had to do the road trip.
Sure, you can only afford a Maverick for the same prices you could once get an F150. Why bother? With TCR going (Technical Cost Reductions) you’re getting the new “Cheap Charlie” versions. I’m retired these bastards passed my ability to buy years ago. They’re selling vehicles for what my house cost us. No thank you.
Prices on 2025s aren't just going up because of inflation directly - Ford HAS to increase them because of inflation catching up with all their suppliers, all the way down. I don't know if it's gonna get better. I'm right there with everyone who thinks trucks are 30% overpriced. The problem is that we are never going back to those days. Everyone's mentally stuck in 2019 before the recent crazy inflation.
@Jason Samko: I am in the market for a mid size truck. I am also a Ford guy but I do NOT like the Ranger Lariat FX4. As much as it pains me to say it, I feel like the Canyon AT4 is a better truck overall. Even the 2025 Frontier Pro4-X seems better. Have I lost my mind?
If you guys can hold the line, better deals will come next years. Remember guys, the dealers did hold the line, so can we... let's do it and price will drop at least 10% from MSRP + no delivery fee.
So they give big discounts right now. Look at how much they raise their prices in the last few years. They need to sit on this inventory longer. There's still too much meat on the bone for The dealers. Then there's the condition of the economy... It would be wise to hold off at least into early 2025
Really depends on the model and trim, I'm having no luck getting anything done to be honest most of them that I'm looking at have been on the lot for 6+ months still not moving much on them. Hopefully soon though. I'm not even asking for much maybe 12/13k off nope still won't budge that's Ram and Ford. What's crazy is they don't even counter back with what they can do. That's how entitled these jerks are. Offended that I even requested a discount haha. 😂😂.
You keep saying these deals are out there and you can get. If you know how to bargain. I haven't found a video from you on how to. Also, if you find a great deal on the internet like you've been showing. How can you be sure they will uphold that deal? Since there's a good chance of going out of state. I'd hate to fly they and then have them tell me no.
I will never make a video on my process. I sell it in a course for 100 bucks. (I don't even push it or talk about it much). I don't want people to know how i do it. How i learned was watching tons of videos on how to negotiate. Exhausting amount of hours of watching over the years. Then I test, try, fail, win, repeat over and over again every vehicle. If it was easy it would work. You get the deal in writing and pay a deposit and buyers agreement electronically before you get on the plane or drive there.
The only way prices on vehicles are going to come down is if Trump is reelected and he gets the price of oil/gas way down. Along with other things he knows how to do it will still take years. This is the world we live in… thank your local Democrat voter.
@@LamelKendrick …..All I know is this, I’ve negotiated with dealers myself and walked out on them as well. Then get a phone call, the next day and got what I wanted at the price I wanted and that was in 2021 when it was the worst time to negotiate.
It’s about allocations received by the manufacturers, if the dealerships can’t move vehicles then they get less allocations which in return equals less overall revenue for the dealerships. Vehicles are very fairly priced this ain’t the 90s. Stay humble..
Ehhh, the new car market is still way overpriced, new car prices would have to fall back by AT LEAST 30-35pct. Current inventories of 2023, 2024 and 2025 would have to be discounted anywhere from 10-20k dollars. The smart move is to buy a 2-3 year old low mileage vehicle that would still be under some factory warranty, have gone through it's initial depreciation hit, and which you could buy up an extended warranty, and come out WAAAAAYYYY ahead financially.

@@mrt3206 outstanding! And very well done on a great deal on an amazing truck!
How is it a buyers market with interest rates and price of trucks so high no one can afford 8-1500 a month payment that’s why these trucks are sitting
You gotta put a big down payment to have a low monthly note these days. Or pay cash, but that's not easy for most of us.

40k all in price for a ranger that's not a v6, not 4x4, it's not a higher trim and doesn't even have a simple bed liner. 😞
