Total Overdose pretty much combines elements from GTA, Max Payne and Dead to Rights and mixes them together into one bloody Mexican-style cocktail! The Over-the-top violence and ridiculous humour makes this an absolute gem from 2005 and one of my favourite games from that year. The gunplay is wild and satisfying yet the driving feels strange, though driving isn't a big part of the game and mostly optional. Exploring the open-world is engaging with rewarding pick-ups scattered around and plenty of side missions making it a worthy venture. I highly recommend this to fans of classic GTA and Max Payne...it's a good time!

This is a classic game. 5 to 6 years ago I used to play it daily and my father also played this game with me. My and my father memories are joined with this game. This is awesome, I love this game story and have completed it more than 58 times in my childhood. No game can compete with this game. I wanted to see Papa muerte face but this game company was bankrupted.
I love this game. Played it 4 or 5 times and wouldn't mind revisiting it again. There was also Chilly Con Carnage on PSP, which isn't a Total Overdose port, it has its own story.

When you started killing the DEA agents in the ambush mission, you really killed my childhood I remember I was risking my life to regroup them, but they were too weak and kept disappearing

Idk why or how iv never heard of or played this game before. It’s so damn awesome!! It’s like max Payne meets gta 3 with a hint of saints row to complete this masterpiece. The way you can strafe the vehicle and jump out in slow motion like max payne is dope asf, and I always wondered why gta series lack substance like this. At this point you should be able to get out and get on the roof like on saints. Gta 6 betta have a extra car feature like this of some sort or I don’t even want it! But I definitely gotta find this asap! Wonder if it’s on emulator??
