[Star Wars vs Warhammer 40k] Battle of Christophsis | Cinematic | Assault Squad 2

- A proper Warhammer 40k vs Star Wars battle, this time with a proper mod that isn't hacked together by me.
On the planet of Christophsis, the Grand Army of the Republic is fighting a planetwide campaign against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. A Republic base is under attack by a group of droid tanks and battle droids. An Imperial fleet crusading across the galaxy has been thought lost to the warp. Unbeknownst to the rest of the Imperium, the fleet has dropped out of warp in an unknown system. Astropaths onboard the lead capitol ship quickly detect a strong signal coming from the planet's surface, and a force is quickly dispatched to secure the unknown signal. A force of Orks also attracted by this psychic energy has been drawn to the signal too.

After the Imperial Guard had captured the radar station and made use of such intriguing intergalactic communications technology that does not seem to need Astropaths at all with the Tech Priests' aid on Kashyyk, the Imperium's crusading fleet have intercepted Republic military distress calls sent out from the planet of Christophsis about "green skinned savages with dangerous slug throwers and shouting WAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!" which they recognized to be Orks of all things to come to this galaxy just like them and decided to send an Ultramarine Space Marine company with an Imperial Guard attachment there. Not only to wipe out the Orks before they become a threat to this galaxy the Imperium was about to claim for the God-Emperor of Mankind but to capture Christophsis and wipe out both Clones and Droids if they somehow survived the Orks' rampage in there too as well.
Meanwhile on Christophsis, the Clone Army have entrenched themselves with first, second and third lines of defense in front of the Republic Forward Base which is also fortified and manned too as well in order to make their stand against the numerous Droid forces heading their way to annihilate them and the Clones are ready to give their lives and everything they got for the Republic.
Suddenly, a third party appeared out of nowhere from orbit as Orks had crash landed on CIS ships and destroyed them in the process. Emerging from their impromptu landing site, the Orks immediately engaged the Droids to scrap them all which the Droids retaliated with intensifying forward firepower and numbers.
At the defense lines, the Clones were surprised of the sudden attack on the Droids but remained on alert, knowing the newcomers are not friendly and readied themselves if the greenskins attacked them next.
On the other hand, the Orks did not know that their usual WAAAAGGGHHHHH! shenanigans in Warp travel had also sent them to this new galaxy. Of course, as Orks being Orks, they do not care and simply find it a new opportunity to continue wage their WAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH! on fresh meat they see and give them some good old krumping.
The Droids had managed to wipe out the first wave of Orks but were then wiped out by the second wave of Orks with their war vehicles and torn apart piece by piece for the greenskins to make good use of the Droids' remains as scrap metal for their machines and weapons later.
Upon taking out Droids dubbed by them as the "Clankers", the Orks saw the Clone Troopers aiming their weapons at them, seeing the "White Boyz" as their new punching bags to krump next.
After gathering themselves in full strength and numbers, the greenskins all charged upon them and opened fire. The Clones returned fire with blasters, turrets and walker tanks in response and managed to gun down several or more Orks and their vehicles. But the Clones immediately suffered heavily losses as the slugthrowers of the Orks have torn through their plastoid white armor like paper and the Orks find the blasters used by Clones and previously Droids to be as ticklish as those flashlights used by the Imperial Guard before even though they got shot by a lot of them under heavy fire.
Soon, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defenses were wiped out down to the last Clone. And the Republic Base is now open for an Ork attack once the greenskins rallied themselves together for a one last attack.
At the Republic Forward Base, the Clones knew this would be their last stand and fought as hard as they can and go down swinging but sadly, the Orks were too much for the brave men of the Republic.
Suddenly, three drop pods landed behind the Clones who were caught off guard and Space Marines of the Ultramarines emerged to do battle but they were not here to help the Clones. Tragically, the remaining Clones were killed by the Space Marines who then proceeded to wipe out the rest of the Orks with only 3 of their battle brothers killed in action.
With the battle ended in Imperium victory, squads of Imperial Guard were deployed via dropships to secure the captured Republic base and seize both Republic and CIS technology left behind to be studied by the Tech Priests who are more than happy to take a crack on such technology for the Omnissiah's glory.
Despite the massacre of most of the Clone Troopers, there was one survivor who ran away as fast as he can while his remaining brothers distracted the new enemies at the cost of their lives.
Determined to not let his brothers' sacrifice to be in vain, the last Clone Trooper became a messenger to warn Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Captain Rex and Commander Cody after arriving at the Main Republic Base safely about the Orks and the Imperium here on Christophsis.
That was awesome story telling haha coupled with watching this at the same time

Their will be nothing left but an endless sea of green monsters. And now that the Ultramarines are here, Gnashzark can again satiate his lust for revenge! After what Sicarius did to him and his first WAAAGH!!! Gnashzark will make him and the Ultramarines pay for the cowardice that was displayed. DAT STUPID SKRAGLY COWARDLY GROT! EZ GONNA DIE! LETZ STOMP EM BOYZ! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!

I would have written the Astartes to have fought alongside the remaining Clones, to honor their fellow humans' defense against the Xeno animals, and because killing them when they're sandwiched AND outnumbered wouldn't be sporting. Then when the Orks are all dead, execute what remains.

The green skins saw all of that scrap and noticed that the scrap fights back. Though, the Orks were probably slightly disappointed that the Driods didn't simply get back up like Necrons, but hey, Orks aren't very picky.

@@timoylumontad3920 i think it does. iirc there's a space marine chapter that attack and destroyed a craftworld that was weakened by an attack of tyranids. the eldar was so pissed that they attack the home planet of that space marine chapter and wipe them out.

Orks knows fair play in their own brutal way and if Clones were able to win against Orks without Space Marine interference, it would be a pyrrhic victory with very few men left.

This battle is unrealistic. If Leia can take a blaster in the arm and continue fighting then the basic Ork should be able to take TWENTY BLASTER SHOTS!

@Bocaan The Humble Don't underestimate FTL hologram communications that allow anyone to communicate with each other across the SW galaxy and FTL hyperdrives that need no Warp to travel through space with no issues of Warp daemons or Chaos crap inside.
The last Clone Trooper can easily do that after reaching safely at Generals Skywalker and Kenobi's base and warn the Republic about the Imperium and Orks by FTL hologram communications which would garner a reaction from the Republic to mobilize and prepare for the new factions' interference in the Clone Wars.
@Bocaan The Humble I doubt it. The Imperium had also regressed and kept losing more of their technolgy than finding it for 10,000 years of endless war which is why they always scavenge for worlds that possessed any valuable form of tech for the Mechanicus to study and implement it for Imperium use.
Actually, the Imperium relies heavily on the Astropaths to guide ships in Warp travel and call out to their worlds and forces through the Astronomicon.
Of course Big E intended to phase the Astropaths out once He finished building the Imperial Webway at Terra but Magnus the Red ruined all that and Big E had to sit on the Golden Throne and power the Astronomicon while the Astropaths keep their jobs.
Here, the Astropaths are deprived of the Emperor's Guiding Light whom their souls and minds are connected to Him despite the peaceful and calm nature in SW universe.
Guess so. Palpatine had played both the Republic and CIS for his ultimate goal of becoming the Emperor of the Galactic Empire after transforming the Republic from within. He gained a lot of support from Republic worlds relieved of not sending their men and women to fight and die on the battlefield when Clone Troopers can do the job for them and arranged the CIS leaders' assassination by Darth Vader in one place at Mustafar and send out deactivation codes to shut down all Droids, ending the Clone Wars in Republic/Empire victory. He even ensured most Jedi be hunted down and killed by sending Order 66 to all Clones obeying it by inhibitor chips or great mental conditioning (Legends).
Makes sense. Star Wars' strongest theme is space battles where you can see clashez between fleets of ships and starfighters. Of course, fighting the Imperium navy is suicide and they have to fight smart and take advantage of the FTL hyperdrive that does not use the Warp and maneuver around the Imperium ships.
Turbolasers are cooler and has more pizzazz. Plasmatic weapon sounds like from Star Trek. :P

That's not a fight. That's just a bunch of 3 year old kids (Republic Army) hitting a 290 pound pro wrestler (Imperial Fists stronghold) with their hands.
I actually wonder how the Orks would fair against the Star Wars Expanded Universe galaxy with the powerful navies and what not in the Clone Wars. Obviously the Orks would most likely win land battles but in space they may have a challenges at the beginning if they start with small numbers.
This video uses Men of War mod. I don't think there is a naval or space battle in it.

I just love how this orks are talented snipers and profesional precision strike cordinators. In canon, half their rockets would go up into the heavens, half of the remaining would flop around and go stray, and some of the ones that actually look like are going to hit just blow before being in range. Also, no orks killed each other by accident or with intend,.
I think im getting the gag now, clone troopers are armed with lasgun-level weaponry,right? No, because on the other video the Guardsmens were poping clones with their lasguns..like if they were piniatas.

Would have been more accurate to see the SM helping the Clones, then when its done, the SM captain asks to see their Leader, and then tell them "Ok bitches, you're now a part of the Imperium of Man", and put a Bolt in the head of the first that tries to argue with them. "Enjoy your Citizenship, the Emperor's Protect"...
That would be interesting especially if it involves Slick, the traitorous Clone Trooper in Star Wars The Clone Wars series, sold out his brothers by welcoming the Space Marines and sided with the Imperium, believing he can get real freedom away from being a Republic slave army.
Of course Slick gives the Imperials ideas how to break the Kaminoan mind conditioning on the captured Clones and make them realize Slick was right about their existence as Republic's army of slaves and willingly join the Imperium.

Zen-RPG No, both because the clones are the product of heretical technology (though they wouldn’t know that before the clones take their helmets off), and because at least at first they’d have other preoccupations than offering the Emperor’s peace to the republican humans.

A Clone-Imperial Guard defense might be pretty interesting, combining the footsoldiers of both worlds to defend a point that will eventually fall to incoming enemy forces (whoever they might be).

The Star Wars universe may be able to hold its own and even triumph against the Warhammer 40k universe in space. I say MAY. But in the vast majority of planet based combat, 40k would stomp. Orks Tyranids, Imperium, Necrons. All of those factions would make light work of anything in Star Wars. The Tau might be bearable though. But even they would put up a hell of a fight.
Tau vs SW would be a very interesting matchup, considering the similarities between the clone and tau fighting ways. Tau space fleet is the most used to move and fight without using Warp technologies, so it would be interesting, even if taus wouldn't have numerical superiority.
For a ground battle, I don't know if the tau technology is more sophisticated than the SW technology, but it's obvious they use it in better ways. For the clones, where are the drones ? Where are the missile launcher vehicles ? Where are the stealth ? Where the battle-suits ?
Even considering that clones and fire warriors have a similar armor, I'm not used to see clones protected with a defense drone. This gives to fire warriors a huge advantage over clones.
Moreover, I hardly see clones shooting on very long distances ; another advantages for taus.
Does the Republic bring heavy tanks on the battlefield ? Broadsides and Hammerheads can deal with it without too much difficulty.
So, in this case, the only real advantage of the clones is the number. But, notice that tau have already learn to deal with an overwhelming amount of enemies.
And, last but not least, it happens that fire warriors success to kill the man they were aiming for. Clones don't have this chance.
That was kind of depressing, seeing the Clones loose so much. I mean I'm for the Imperium, but come on.
It says a lot when Droids were able to handle the Orks before the 2nd wave wiped them out.
They're simply ignoring the actual facts from Star Wars like the fact that clone armour actually has better ballistic and energy protection than from a space marine's, or that blaster bolts have secondary effects like ion bursts and particle fusion. In fact the fight straight out ignores the artillery used in Star Wars like the mobile artillery in the base..

@@Reguwudo That's ironic after reading all the accounts of traitor guardsmen successfully piercing marine power armour, especially during the first battle at the fall of cadia. Bearing in mind that these traitor guardsmen were armed with basic lasguns and bayonets. It's even more amusing to read other examples on space marine armour breaking under blows from feral orc axes and blades.
Looking at the blaster weaponry used in Star Wars, the examples of the resulting in fusion bursts which are basically miniature nuclear blasts that break through inches of hardened ceramics and reinforced metals as shown in the prequel films. That's not mentioning the hand to hand weaponry clones were equipped with that were basically equal to that of a mandalorian wrist blade that effortlessly cut into any material.
Even examples of kinetic and energy artillery in Star Wars as shown in the prequels show then slicing through masses of armoured droids and even half a dozen of them bringing down ships from the air and even tearing a mountain in half just in the second episode alone.
Then there's the matter of Star Wars shields where even tribal groups have ones strong enough to repel continuous artillery barrages for hours on end without any decrease of power, and even ones powered by one ramshackle generator can block off orbital strikes from orbiting ships that can scorch a hemisphere.
Looking at the exaggerated and senseless tidbits about bolter ammunition, even the cross section of a standard bolter round would function like a beer can cannon in real life. Tipped with a diamond which in real life burns away from atmospheric pressure at muzzle velocity forgetting that diamonds are still carbon and combustible which weakens to worse than glass when heated, and loaded with deuterium which in reality is an isotope of hydrogen that is as inert as helium at terminal ballistic properties. That's to elaborate in scale relative to the other "specialised" bolter ammunition.
Fact of the matter is that warhammer 40k is just a conglomeration of eighties exaggeration from heavy metal magazine jokes while Star Wars was built on Science fiction principles that have sound science as renowned physicist Michio Kaku even admits..

They were given tanks and turrets and lost against INFANTRY! I did not see a single Ork vehicle, because none were needed. If the Orks had not finished the clones, the Imperium would have. It is a sad fact that Star Wars can only keep up in Space Battles, as soon as we deal with on the ground warfare, WH40K wins, always.

the interesting thing the CIS got right is the use of Boarding Pods. the republic hardly ever used boarding pods/torpedo's. The ork fleet would be able to overwhelm most fleets

Actually... Having control chips isn't that far fetched or bad an idea especially if Clone Officers are more independent than their brothers in the GAR. It helps to keep the Officers in line. When combined with the plethora of other mind control techniques it ensures total control.
Clones are programmed from birth to follow direct orders from their superiors. However, they are humans and Darth Sidious is a power hungry bastard and a paranoid manipulator. He doubled down on ensuring that the GAR would obey him entirely. If the mental programming and propaganda didn't stop the Clones, their instinctual need to follow the orders of their superior officers would... Officers with control chips lodged in their skulls.
The Jedi observed and helped direct the training, not the *entire creation process*.

Most armors in Star Wars can take bullets and blasters.
Plastoid, clone trooper armor base material, is roughly on par with carapace.
It would be able to take hits from shootas and sluggas
AT-TE have weapons that can go through Orks.
Their turret can fire HE shells to demolish hordes.

I mean, clone armor helmet is probably on par with a carapace armor helmet, in terms of abilities besides sheer protection (tactical display, gas mask, etc), but if we take the body parts, carapace armor is far better than clone or stormtrooper armor.
Maybe it’s akin to far more heavy armors like mandalorians armors, the crusader type.

Clone armor is light, relatively ergonomic and has an under-suit that helps protect from hostile atmosphere and seal any bleeding.
Their armor can withstand bullets that are akin to bolt rounds (except there is no explosion from a bolt round)

Aside from that, carapace armor is far more thick. Honestly I think it’s the kind of cases where we can’t prove anything without having the items on hand, but still, it’d really surprise me if the carapace armor wasn’t at least as good as mandalorians crusader armor and far better than clone armor, with a clone armor chest piece being at best as gold as or slightly better than a cadian trooper chest armor.

As obvious as the victor in this situation here would be, i still think staw wars could give the imperium a good workout. The clones are basically like the imperial guard, the jedi are pretty much like psykers, and so on. Im 40k all the way, but lets not ignore the good effort the sw side would produce.

Clones are the Imperial Guard but with slightly better weapons, worse armor and less numbers and just as expendable.
And unless you go with a named Jedi, most of them are at most C-Class psykers. The only place where the Republic would give the Imperium trouble is space battles.
Any form of ground warfare is a immediate win for any faction in WH40k.
A single Imperium Escort can take out a dozen Star Destroyers in just a minute

The star wars universe is used to relaying on energy weapons and sheilds due to if I can recall ballistic or kinetic weapons are illegal, so if a 40k invasion happens they have nothing against missiles and metal slugs of rain.
Slugthrowers are considered primitive to most civilizations in Star Wars universe.
Firearms are rare and expensive.
Generally only Bounty Hunters have them.

The Clones would do so much better against the Droids AND Orks if they remembered to bring a dozen rockets or so. Or if their blaster 'cannons' actually cratered the ground, rather than just doing damage to whatever part the colored bolt hits.

That would be a huge game changer for the Imperium and have the hyperdrive engine produced more for their ships to travel at light speed than in the Warp.
The Clones almost had it. They deserved the victory for fighting so well. It would've been Good if right at the end instead of The Imperium of Man arriving. Anakin and Obi-wan arrived to save the day.
That would be cool. If the Imperium had not butted in, the Clone Troopers would have won albeit with very few of their numbers left in the aftermath.
