    OMG!! You have crossed over to being a seasoned proffessional! Actually, it's always good to hunt between trees like that. People like to sling their hammocks up to chill out. Then out drops pocket treasures! Great video as always and keep us informed on the ring testing. Thanks for sharing.

    Congrats on the engagement ring, she's a keeper! I think the main thing about detectors is getting to know the one you are using by using it a lot. Some people (including myself) get a bit overwhelmed when they try too many different units.

    Congratulations on the rings! Delighted for you! I like Michael Oliver's recommendation of putting valuables into a sock in your pouch, so the sock can help protect them and make it less likely you would lose them in turn.

    Yes, I did a little happy dance when you found those rings. I'm glad you were able to get the first ring back to the guy who lost it.
    I'd love to have you explain the difference between the VLF and PI detectors. Advantages/disadvantages, of each...

      Hehehehehe! I wanted too but had to stay cool. :) Yea, it was the right thing to do for sure. :D Oh sure! I think I can work that into the video when I test out the first machine. Or do you want me to tell you here, in the comments? I'm fine with either. :D

    your dry sand hunt was very productive! trees draw people, and people drop rings! if you test the sand shark, try the put the control box on a belt, harness, or backpack (like crazyk does).

    Great Job, those trees were a good hunch, Remember more depositors at the land beaches, more party goers at the island, all your rings have come from the heavily used beaches, perfect your water hunting waist deep or less at low tide ,when high tide was around noon till 2pm on busy vacation crowded days. This allows you to hunt wet sand to waist deep where the crowd was swimming from noon till 4 or 5. Begin about 4pm as the crowd is leaving at the surf/WET sand line, your ring total will increase quickly. Extra tip.. If the beach is crowded and a sudden Fla thunder storm runs everyone off the beach around 3 or 4pm, get there as soon as the lightning clears and go straight to the umbrella line where the tourists sit in rented beach chairs. Look for the holes in the sand where the umbrella's were, follow the line of holes. You will find lots of watches on this (perfect storm) as tourists will rush to get out of the rain,leaving watches and other treasures which are shortly covered up with a coating of sand from the rain splatter on the dry sand. They will not realize its lost until they can't find it after they go out for dinner or take a shower, by then its covered over. Found 7 nice watches in one day using this tip. ???? Did you try your grip handle on top and closer to the scoop yet??? Also Mike's scoop needs a foot brace at the back to push against into the sand , try sifting it before raising it, easier on your back. You've come a long way girl, I'm very impressed. If your hunting alone, never look at your finds, just stick it in your pouch, always carry a fake cz/plated ring and bracelet to show if someone is genuinely interested in our hobby and a gold corona bottle cap to show lurkers what you just picked up that looked like that gold ring.hh

      Thank you! And thanks for watching! That's great thinking about the times to hunt. I've not done that yet. I've only ever hunted in the morning. Yea, I bet there's tons of goodies that get dropped in the rush to get out of the rain. Did you really!? That's amazing. No, I've not switched it around yet. I might tonight though, in preparation for tomorrow's hunt. :D Yea, a footing would be so much better. Right now, I foot keeps slipping off unless I tilt it way down. Thanks for the tip on sifting first! Well thank you. I've really been trying to get better all around. :) Yea, I hadn't thought about that. Someone could be watching and then try to steal it from me. Hahaha, I like that idea about the gold bottle cap!

    I'm so excited to see you've gotten some jewelry again. My wife and I are back till the 18 and we missed your group meet up last year by one week. I have two White's Spectrum series XLT old model and vx3 which are awesome on dry sand but I have not found any valuable items to cover the cost so I was glad to see you found some because that gives me hope, which is my wife's name. Anyhow if you do a meet up I'll be here between Reddington Shores and Fort DeSoto area otherwise we'll be back in December till April.

    Hey Jean here ,one thing i noticed you doing that a lot of other beach detecting video's iv seen dont show ..is you filling back in the holes,and i think its good of you to do that as even though you are on a beach .one should still fill in the holes..good on ya girl.Oh and as a Canadian in Ontario and we are just going into winter,your video is causing me such en vie .lol

    I agree with most of the people about the shovel. I think it's too hard to use. I seen Michael use it and in harder sand it's a lot tougher to get it in the ground. It is a cool idea though. The detector I would like to see you use is "E" Whites Beach Hunter 300! Great finds,hope it is real gold and gems. It will be tough to top the first ring you found. Did you find out how much that platinum, diamond ring is worth? Keep the great videos coming,I love them! GL& HH!!!

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  8 років тому

      It does take some getting used to since it's shorter than my current scoop and the angle is different. Thank you! And thanks for watching! I hope the gold is real. I've not tested it yet. Keep your fingers crossed! Right you are, I need to find another Platinum ring! :D The Platinum was around $1,000. ::sigh:: Makes me sad thinking about it. :( You know I will so long as you keep watching! :D

      Those White's from the 70's were really well made, but back then rejection was in the distant future. We dug EVERYTHING since all we had was a tone and it changed when you passed over something. That's it. The only adjustment was a Vernier dial that could... sort of... tune out the ground. What happened was we would pick a tone we liked and listened for it to change. lol.

    Why do you not have TONY install the pinpoint switch on your handle? Then when you toggle between all metal and disc. The excalibur will change back and forth to the high pitch without needing your metal scoop to change the pitch. Also reverse hunting [all metal search and then check target with disc] goes deeper.

    Beth gellert (famous wolf hound from ancient Welsh history... the dog killed a wolf that attacked a nobleman's child.
    He heard the child cry and rushed back, saw blood on the hound and killed it only to discover after the child was hidden and he found a dead wolf nearby....that's the short version)
    It's legendary in Welsh folklore.

    • @josephelias9081
      @josephelias9081 7 років тому

      There is a burial spot in northern Wales and I'm sure the county has deep ties to the site name.
      It's of course your choice but Wales would go nuts (in a good way) for you.
      Either way, great video....p.s.
      Google the legend.

    She Detector,I don't know if you watch the "The Silverslingers" but I believe that she just got a new finds bag I believe from MineLab. So why so special? Well it has a mesh bottom that lets out unwanted dirt. So, for your water detecting this would be a great bag. I would let out the "clingy sand" and the water. Just wanted to be helpful. Keep swinging and finding. By the way great ring.

    I have to share with you she detector this garden city beach sc story. hope everyone enjoys it. people always come up to me and ask what ive found. like you I don't use discrimination above one so I find everything! I showed this mom and her kids what I had found near their condo complex walkway to the beach. she said why you pick up trash, and I said to clean up the beach. the next day when passing the same steps from this big condo complex, I saw this sign on the stair rail. it said " please throw all your spare change onto the beach so the detector guy finds more than trash as he cleans up our beach". I had to laugh for sure. so I came back on Friday the day before our week at beach ended, and I found 2.07 in change across the same area I hunted 4 days before. lol. guess they felt sorry for me.
