Henson AL13 Safety Razor Review

The Henson AL13 is engineering piece of art in the wet shaving Community for a safety razor. The unboxed scene of the Hinson AL 13 safety razor was quite impressive with it only weighing 38 grams being made out of aluminum. The double edge razor blade is not exposed on the tabs of the safety razor. Which makes it a great razor for detailing around any of your difficult areas. This may be the best safety razor for sensitive skin because it is a mild safety razor that is definitely in my top 3. A very smooth, satisfying, shave!

@@OhioShaves I really like the Bic Chrome Platinum. I think the RK gives a slightly better first shave, but the Bic from shaves 2-5 are the best blades I've ever used with it. I have very sensitive skin and fairly coarse yet somewhat patchy facial hair.

Glad you are liking the razor! Pretty soon you will know exactly how much pressure you like to put on it, and you'll be able to get a BBS blindfolded. I can shave fast with this razor now.

I now use my AL13 to detail my face. It is mild and light, perfect for this purpose. I prefer a more aggressive, closed comb DE Safety Razor for the majority of my shave. I am using a cheap Rapira right now, soon to upgrade to a Merkur 23C.

Though I am extremely satisfied with my Rockwell 6C, which is made where most products are made nowadays. But apparently it doesn't necessarily lower the quality.

The electric shavers give me quite a bit of irritation on my neck where I have very sensitive skin. The Henson is such a great razor.

The Henson will use any double edge shaving razor blade. The RKs it comes with are nice. My current favorite blade with it is the Bic Chrome Platinum, but you really can't go wrong with the RK blades either.

The al13 medium was my favorite razor I liked it so well I just got he titanium version I use Gillette super stainless blades and I get a bbs shave with zero irritation
