I got this 2014 fully loaded 30k miles for about 21k. It is absolute steal. I am not sure I will buy this at full sticker price at 45k but at used, it is absolute steal.
here in UAE they had promotions on the 2014 model and they were selling the fully loaded for under 30k usd. Absolute steal at this price. Have been enjoying the ride for the last 3 years.
Parliament1mg I found one for 19000 with 29k is this a good deal? I'm only 16 and this will be my first car (I already drive my dad's genesis regularly)
I've had this car for several months now. I agree with you that i could not afford this car full sticker, but i bought mine for a very similar price. Luxury package with 23k milles for 20k flat. This car has excellent value. I think its the badge that steers people away but its their loss lol.
Terrance Collins think all the 14/15 ones have fallen below 20 g's but a Limited or tech package one with low milage seems to be hard to in my area... Might as well go for the cooled seats if I'm even further away from 30 highway MPGS than just about all of the competition...

Got this bad boy on the cheap. Many people in these comments are badge snobs that only care about prestige of this or that German brand. This car isn't the best car on the block, but it is the best car in BANG FOR BUCK. Bought this car for 20k flat with 23k miles with luxury package (Basically everything except the driver assistance stuff). Its kinda cool to drive a car thats luxurious but not really well known about. I'm probably the only person in town with a Cadenza. I get excited to see one on the road because their also probably the only one they know driving one.
Kudos to Sofyan for bringing to the tube a straight forward, knowledgeable and complete review of these vehicles. I love the way he describes everything without trying to be funny or adding some other nonsense. Thank you! Exactly the way I would do if I had the time. Kia Cadenza is a true gem and this badge should no longer be in question for quality. This is how you build credibility into your brand by giving people a solid product for an affordable price. Features and options huge plus- top notch finish and a beautiful design. Definitely a vehicle that will establish a new base a of customers and hopefully convert some others.
I’m legit watching this video because I’m about to buy a 14 model & know absolutely nothing about kias, but from the comments down below sounds like I made a good choice
Friend of mine has a 2007 Kia Amanti, yes I know its more or less "knock off" Mercedes. But over all she loves the car, its very quite on the road, drives really well and she's getting pretty good gas mileage considering the size of the car. I've ridden in it and I have to say, even in the back seat it was one of the best cars I've ever ridden in.
This car is such a steal when buying used. I literally bought mine for a very similar price. 23k Miles for 20k flat with Luxury package. This is the underdog of near luxury cars that nobody knows about.
HAHAHAHA DUDE my aunt has this and one time we were at the store and some guy walked up to us and was like “ what type of car is that? And How do I get one 🤣🤣
Love this car! Very quiet and drives very well even up to 155 mph in Wyoming and Montana. 50K on the odometer and not a single problem. Replaced tires and brakes for high performance.
I need a newer car and I'm trying to convince my wife that it's a good deal. Sometimes I'm a little late to work so I hear comfortable at 155 and I'm sold
Bought my 2014 new and just turned over 100k last week. Aside from an early-on injector mis-fire (which was replaced under warranty) I haven't had a single problem with it. I do get a lot of complements. Love the interior and can drive for hours without leg and back issues. After 3 Hyundai's and 2 Kia's, I can honestly say I haven't paid for car repairs since 2002. Just pissed that Covid caused Kia to cancel the new Cadenza being sent to the US, it was a beautiful car. I'll probably be looking seriously at the new Stinger or Genesis G7 or G8 next year.
I found the 19" tyres were very noisy on the highway. The steering was too disconnected and there's a dead zone on centre. The body stays fairly flat through corners but the suspension struggles on rough, Canadian roads. It almost bottomed out once on a sudden dip in the road. I loved the blind spot monitoring on the highway, it worked very well. The engine doesn't seem to have much pull down low even though the torque number is fairly good. The 2015 has movable trajectory markings on the backup camera and the passengers seat is also cooled.
Very luxurious and nice looking car. I never really liked Kia before but after watching this review it changed my mind. I would really love to purchase this car next year when I get my drivers license.
This car is a head turner. The only complaint I have is the gas mileage, which is average at best. Mine is fully loaded and has dark chrome 19 inch wheels. Beautiful vehicle. 2 things I would disagree w Sofyan about; This car is sportier than it seems. Relatively low body roll and easy acceleration . And with the 19 inch wheels you feel the road more than I expected. Th Cadenza feels relatively athletic, like the latest generation Maxima but with more space.
Nice car but I hope the quality will stand with time unlike my 2011 Forte that the seats are fading to white . And steeeing wheel fading also and my car parked in shaded place .
Very impressive & informative review Sofyan. I definitely like everything that the newly introduced Cadenza has to offer as it definitely makes the car a good competitor against the similar offerings that are out there :) - Michael Land
2theRedline Another amazing review sofyan! i really enjoy your videos! my mom bought a ford explorer sport and she loves it. i showed her the review of the one that you reviewed. she said your videos are great and very refine. thank you for all of your reviews! i watch all of them, and i love all of them!
I have a 2015 model premium with heating and cooling driver and front passenger seat But besides that I love this car best car I’ve ever had smart cruise control is great blind spot monitoring is kinda spotty when rainy weather lane departures can be turned off so if you hate the noise on narrow roads I leave my lane departure on but in 2022 it still an amazing car Kia dealer told me premium is pretty much is the technology pkg for the 2014-16 models

A lot of people just don't that this car even exists and that would be enough for me to buy one. I would love to spread the word that Kia has a full-size near luxury sedan that looks pretty good and I'm the only guy in town that drives one lol
I have this car also. It is quite odd that this car doesn't sell all that much. This isn't the best car on the block, but its the best VALUE of its competition IMO. I do however experience the same phenomenon. It kinda feels cool to be driving the only car where you live and im in the same situation. Everyone always asks what kind of car it is.
This car looks fantastic, but I can't get it simply because it has no foldable seats. For winter sports, or moving purposes, fold-down back seats are a must.
Nice review. I personally hated Kia before, but now I realize there really is no reason too. They are a company worthy of my respect. Wonderful car from a up and coming company that has my vote of confidence.
We prefer Bang and Olufsen, Bose, or Mark Levinson... we've got an editor who is tough to please for audio systems. To the average consumer, Infinity would sound just fine, but to those who are pure audiophiles, it may sound a bit lackluster.
Love your reviews Soyfan. Wish this had been done on your normal route though... a freeway is kind of blah. As for the car, why would anybody choose this over a Genesis R Spec?
The Genesis R-Spec makes a strong case for itself. We may actually choose that model for it's V8 engine and rear-drive. However, we like the styling of the Cadenza more. That being said, the Cadenza is actually based on the front-drive Azera while the new K900 will be Kia's version of the Genesis/Equus.
We choose test drive routes based on the vehicle we test, a full-size sedan isn't built to attack twisty roads like a sport sedan. It's designed to provide a comfortable ride for highway cruising. The new Cadenza isn't bad but it's not the type of vehicle you'd want to use on a windy canyon road ;)
in case i missed it how is the road noise and wind noise? My 2012 Optima SX is pretty bad... and the suspension is pretty stiff... How is the cadenza compared to the 2015 Genesis 3.8 compared in cabin noise?
+Fyah King the Genesis isn't really in this class of car. It really is a bit of a step up from the cadenza and not really fair to compare. But the road noise is improved when i changed the tires from the stock hankook ones. They aren't that well received in online reviews.
Nothing really identical to the Impala, but it seems really similar to it. Especially along the sides. Also find it weird how the front design seems to make the car appear very narrow.
The new genesis still has the hyundai badge in the back. Who cares about the badges anymore? you are not gonna get ahead in life by driving a more expensive car, this isnt the 90's anymore Hyundais and Kias are well built and very reliable. besides i think Hyundai and Kia produce this cars for a different target of people........the kind of people that want a good value car without sacrificing the luxury and comfort
Hi SOFYAN, I've been watching your vlog for a while now and I really like your program, btw are Indonesian .. your name is familiar name in Indonesia especially Padang names...
They really looked hard at VAG when building this one. The exterior has a VW understatement to it, down to the A8 esque spoke wheels. The white/black INTERIOR color scheme is out of a CC/Jetta. The problem with these Korean cars is that they still haven't found their own soul, I had this car as a rental and while it's a refined car, it doesn't have the planted refined feel you get in any Audi or VW. Also the white seats were already getting dirty, at 6K miles...there's no free lunch, you want the real deal, buy a used CPO A6 - better in every way
"you want the real deal, buy a used CPO A6 - better in every way" = You want the real deal, pay more money. Like telling a guy he should have bought the Ferrari over the Toyota.
They have found their Soul ! I have one a 2014 Soul+ it now has 50,000 miles on it and it's the most trouble free car I have owned. KIA has come a long way . They have reason to be proud of their growth.
I am about to buy one, guess what...the same car without adaptive cruise control, lane departure and blind spot cost 29700$ in dubai at the moment. While I would love to have those functions, 12,000$ discount for not having those seems like a good deal.
***** Goes to show how gullible and stupid customers like yourself are. That 10 year warranty is a powertrain warranty. Tell me this how many cases do you hear of engines and transmissions failing on modern day cars? That 10 year warranty is a gimmick because any manufacturer can tack that onto a car they have in their lineup. As for the bumper to bumper warranty it's still a 5 year warranty and I think the rust/perforation warranty is like 8 years which all cars offer. Also, the Kia might be new but it won't feel as solid, ride as nice, be as quiet or feel like even a CPO E350. Not saying the Kia is bad but it seems to me that Kia owners seem to think they're the next Rolls Royce with the way they behave which is unacceptable. It's like Apple fanboys even though the iPhone is excellent.
***** I have no problem with Kias but I'd buy a $20k Kia not a $45k one. My friend owns a Kia Forte and it's a good compact car. I just don't understand why they're trying to fit a square into a circle.
***** Somewhat. It just won't drive like it's worth $45k and I still don't know the longevity of the car. One thing I'm reading with a lot of Hyundai/Kia products is that the wear items are wearing out long before they do on other cars which makes me question the quality of these cars. Engines and transmissions last but I wonder about wear items like tires, brakes, wheel bearings, struts, bearings and bushings. How long will this car feel like the day it drove off the lot? Time will tell.
Djonkie Bonk Powertrain includes more than just engine and transmission. besides, this car looks really freaking good. I'd rather people see me drive this car than a typical Mercedes. Actually if i drive a MB nobody will even bother to look at the car since every dick & harry has a MB, even my aunt and cousin have one, and those cars spend more time in the repair shop than on the road. My cousin already traded hers in for a Toyota Highlander and she almost bought the new Hyundai Santa Fe.
jorge romani If anyone wants to be seen in their car no matter what the brand then they have image issues. I didn't buy my Benz to be looked at or praised. I bought it because of the solid feel, comfortable ride, quiet cabin, refined powertrain and overall I haven't had any issues with it and my Benz was built in an era when MB wasn't making their best cars (98-06). I could care less what others think since I'm the one inside the car and I'm the one who paid for it.
I'm confused. 1/2 the time the reviewer speaks to "luxury cars" but then compares it to a Ford Taurus?? I didn't know the Taurus was a luxury vehicle. It's like part of the time it's being compared to Merecedes/BMW/Audi, and the other 1/2 it's compared to Buick and Ford. Which is it? Sharp car and the reviewer seems to like it fairly well.
***** I understand that may be the intent, but Lexus is Toyota, Audi is VW, Lincoln is Ford... and so on. So it is possibly an "inbetweener"? Not quite a BMW, Lincoln, Audi, but above a Buick? And how does one compare? I like this car!
That interior is going to show it's age very quickly. The plastic chrome and silver lining which circles everything plus all of those curved/circular buttons will be outdated quickly. That look is already starting to be a bit outdated, and that steering wheel needs a refresh. It's very pre 2010.
Just drove one yesterday. I thought the driving experience was horrible. The steering had no feel. I have never driven a car with steering as bad as this car. The interior and the exterior are very nice but the driving experience needs to be worked on
+Alex Pascutiu That's because Kia equips this car with Hankook Optimo H426 tires. These are terrible. Nothing but bad reviews on Tire Rack's website. Replacing them with a set of Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season plus or Michelin Premier A/S would alleviate all of those problems.
+TheTallMan35 yes the tires did make a huge huge difference. I literally just put on the same tires you recommended and its grips alot better. Though the steering feel is pretty numb, its probably due to the all electric power steering.

Holy crap I remember watching your first videos back with the xoxo channel. Man have you guys come a long way great job guys
The 2015 has movable trajectory markings on the backup camera and the passengers seat is also cooled.

but those who don't know that much about cars will think you're Mr. Fancy pants!
The new genesis still has the hyundai badge in the back. Who cares about the badges anymore? you are not gonna get ahead in life by driving a more expensive car, this isnt the 90's anymore Hyundais and Kias are well built and very reliable. besides i think Hyundai and Kia produce this cars for a different target of people........the kind of people that want a good value car without sacrificing the luxury and comfort
what's the deal with the badges? Kia is already a luxury brand anyway, without removing their badges.
im going to buy tomorrow!!
Did you end up buying? Are you enjoying it still?
please do a 2014 camaro
Does it really cost that much more to have both driver and front passenger seats ventilated? Come on Kia. Oh, and Great Review Sofyan!
Kia fixed that in the later model Cadenza's. Glad you enjoyed the review :)
They're both ventilated in the 2014 model, for the SXL trim
Hi SOFYAN, I've been watching your vlog for a while now and I really like your program, btw are Indonesian .. your name is familiar name in Indonesia especially Padang names...
They really looked hard at VAG when building this one. The exterior has a VW understatement to it, down to the A8 esque spoke wheels. The white/black INTERIOR color scheme is out of a CC/Jetta. The problem with these Korean cars is that they still haven't found their own soul, I had this car as a rental and while it's a refined car, it doesn't have the planted refined feel you get in any Audi or VW. Also the white seats were already getting dirty, at 6K miles...there's no free lunch, you want the real deal, buy a used CPO A6 - better in every way
Well this makes sense, because Kia hired a former AUDI designer to design their cars.

Value is the biggest selling point on this car.
Please review the Infinity Q50 sport. I'm dying to hear your feedback about the steering.
Can you do an 06 GTO?
I just priced one of these new here on Canada. It's almost $45k and for that I'd prefer a used MB E350 with extended warranty.
The song matches the whole car
That k900 is dope tho
Amazing car
2theRedline could you try to do a 2014 camaro 2ss
Well done sir
Wow reallyl noisy at 8 minutes. I realize it's the road but it shouldn't be THAT loud.
Notice how the pitch of noise changes as soon as he hits the darker colored pavement? He was driving on bare concrete road that was being re-finished.
Concrete is always significantly louder than asphalt. Around our area it is used more for freeways because it last longer, the downside is the noise.
Gold video
That interior is going to show it's age very quickly. The plastic chrome and silver lining which circles everything plus all of those curved/circular buttons will be outdated quickly. That look is already starting to be a bit outdated, and that steering wheel needs a refresh. It's very pre 2010.
ther is new 2017 cadenza now
Just drove one yesterday. I thought the driving experience was horrible. The steering had no feel. I have never driven a car with steering as bad as this car. The interior and the exterior are very nice but the driving experience needs to be worked on
Also, the suspension was too hard for a full size sedan. The suspension was way too loud. The engine was smooth and powerful.
Great car I have the exact same car
i like this style better
Thankyou
Review an Infiniti Qx80 (Qx56)
