I went there in 1963 with my mom. It was a cow town. For tourists they did reactants of gunslinger shoot outs. I bought my first cowboy boots there. I liked it when it was small.
What’s small condo with a nice view going for in Jackson Hole?
Hey there Yancy! I loved your stories, they were a sweet laugh. My little family dreams of going your way to settle in and raise our two kids. My husband is fire/EMS, and I teach here in Texas. Is Jackson ideal, or do you know of a surrounding smaller town? We dream of pines, mountains and good fly fishing. Slower, and “truer” outdoor community style living for our kids.

I’m visiting for the first time in May. Seems like a wonderful place. How much does it cost for a home there? Prices I’ve seen are pretty expensive for even here in the Bay Area. Hard to believe there are that many down to earth people there with the money there.

The food in Jackson Hole is absolute dogshit. And they charge for it like it's a 5-star menu
some places are better than others I agree. prices are definitely on the high end. I appreciate the comment.

Thank you for the comment. It has definitely become incredibly expensive. There are still some great places to live around the Rocky Mountains with wonderful communities.
