The only thing that makes the millionaires in Jackson upset?? Billionaires moving into town. Life styles of the rich and famous. Beautiful country that only the rich can own.
Loved Jackson when the Wife and I visited. However, even with my wife making 70k/yr and myself 60k/yr we cannot come anywhere close to affording anything comfortably out there which is a shame. Seems like a millionaire cult town at the heart of it...the town cant even retain police officers due to the high costs
I'm watching many videos and deciding where to move to in Wyoming....and it seems,if I remember right, Jackson is a more expensive area to live, in Wyoming!!!
Stayed there in April on my way to Salt Lake. To call it a beautiful place would be an understatement, but it has to be in the top 10 most over priced housing places in the US. No reason a house that's 1300sq/ft, 2bed, 1.5 bath should ever go for 7 figures. Especially being out dated by 20+ years.
Having lived in AZ, I don't see much of Jackson Hole in AZ. If you want to go skiing like in Jackson, you are up by Flagstaff - and that isn't 1000 an acre lol
Highly, highly over priced cost of living so if you are earning mid 50-60K you will be hard pressed to find affordable housing. You are gonna be doing a lot of commuting to find affordable housing. It is not at all like the rest of Wyoming as far as "thinking" (it ain't Wyoming".
Well that depends on your perspective. If you enjoy winter sports, then the long and cold winters are a good thing. The summers in Jackson Hole has gorgeous weather and temperatures. It rarely gets extremely hot in Jackson Hole. It’s a good climate if you enjoy a lot of outdoor activities and outdoor sports. Unfortunately, late summer can have very smoky and hazy skies if there’s a lot of wildfires in the Western US.
