What is Jackson Hole like to live in for the regular person?

- Jackson Hole, WY, is one of the most unique and desirable towns to live in the American West. During the off-season, the town has 10,000 people but during summer, the population can swell to 80,000. There are few places like that in the world.
Jackson is the main access point for Yellowstone and Grand Teton, two of America's most famous National Parks. Wildlife is abundant and can be seen year-round. Jackson is an outdoor sports destination for travelers from around the world.

lived in Jackson 25 yrs. Drove away Oct 5, two weeks after this video was posted. Would like to know this guy's credentials. He has a basic knowledge of town, but not a local.

Are there any areas being built up like half hour out of jackson or little more then that distance? Seems absurdly expensive there from what I’ve seen maybe there a good town to commute from and work there? I’m doubting it but felt like asking
You can live in Idaho over Teton Pass. It's a 30-40 min drive without traffic. It's a busy commute. People also live in Alpine, about 45 min away.
The drive is more exciting in winter, though.
