You gotta remember, this guy played for BILLY JOEL for 30 years this is in no way his style or anything he ever probably listened to he did an amazing job!
amazing what he did and being 72 or 73 to play with such force, im not a drummer at all but not knowing when they were coming back in from the bass stuffed up his timing on the re entry to the last chorus making him slightly off time
