    Thanks everyone for the comments and subs, I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad i'm able to help some of you out.
    Working on more videos for this channel, but just so everyone knows I've contributed 4-5 more tutorials exclusively on Kojo's Trick Lab, so make sure you look into that because it's a really great resource for anyone who is seriously looking to improve their tricks!
    More tutorials coming soon, let me know what tricks or even concepts you'd like me to break down!
    Vaios

    Yeah, doesn’t get better than this. Lots of really good insights from someone with a desirable execution and a lot of knowledge that clearly comes from lots of experimentation and being smart.

    This is by far the best tutorial I have ever seen. You address all the problems that one faces and how to fix them. Gumbi is still a wierd one for me, idk what I'm doing is even a Gumbi.
    But I'll keep trying and then move to the TDR.
    Thanks a lot for your insights!

    I have working on this trick for a half year jow and havent made much progress :(
    I love your tutorial that it is so informative but i still have 1 question to ask.
    - Pro trickers always recommend to learn tdr feom gumbi but it will teach you to place you leading foot exactly towards the direction youre going but when you do trd i barely see any one placing their leading foot like that.
    Ps can you please do another tdr video but with tornado kick approach?
    Thanks for your video man, youre the best

      True but kyles is a different version that has been proven to be less effective. Vellu uses it too and he's now working on changing it because it limits his power, so kyles tutorial while it's good, it's teaching a less effective version of the move

    • @connorwatson942
      @connorwatson942 5 років тому +1

      Wow that’s an extremely intelligent insight but I think Kyle teaches it, while grasshopper explains and gives awesome tips👍 so there both great.

    You say to kick back with your leg for Td raiz. However in your own Td raiz your hips turn over and kick to the side or even forwards, which is what you said not to do. Am I missing something? Because I would love to raiz like you!

  • @Zuionify
    @Zuionify 6 років тому

    hmmmm, nice tutorial. the gumbi type tdr is my goal. i would say i have a pretty solid gumbi, but i cant turn it into a tdr. everytime i do tdr it will become more of the valdez type. can u give some more tips and progressions on how to ultimately turn the gumbi into a tdr?

    • @GrassHopper1323
      @GrassHopper1323  6 років тому

      Zuionify hmm hard to say without a video, do you have footage? Could be that you’re turning too soon or not waiting for your leg to come up

    • @Zuionify
      @Zuionify 6 років тому

      GrassHopper1323 i would guess that its mostly fear related. I do three kinds of shitty ones: a very horizontal raiz that i just put my hand down, the valdez type which yes i turn too early but if i turn later i crash, and if i force it from a gumbi it becomes a crappy 1 handed cartwheel although when i gumbi normally it is quite alright. Imma try recording them soon

    • @GrassHopper1323
      @GrassHopper1323  6 років тому

      Zuionify okay, fear can certainly be an obstacle but send me some videos so I can properly see what might be going wrong! I’ll give you specific tips if I can!

  • @benskillings7106
    @benskillings7106 6 років тому

    Is it possible to do a full twist out of a gumbi? Would it give you good momentum?

    • @GrassHopper1323
      @GrassHopper1323  6 років тому

      Absolutely! You could pop full or punch full out of gumbi (not just swing) and it would be very similar to doing standing cart or roundoff. I would say it's probably harder from gumbi though, just cause gumbi is harder. Not as common as swing but 100% you can!

    "There's lots of..." = "There is lots of ..."
    "Here's some ... tutorials" = "Here is some ... tutorials"
    You're using "is" when you should be using "are", though it's hidden in contractions. A lot of people do this, and honestly it's not even that big of a deal in practice, but I just thought you should be aware of it (if you aren't already).
