Thanks everyone for the comments and subs, I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad i'm able to help some of you out. Working on more videos for this channel, but just so everyone knows I've contributed 4-5 more tutorials exclusively on Kojo's Trick Lab, so make sure you look into that because it's a really great resource for anyone who is seriously looking to improve their tricks! More tutorials coming soon, let me know what tricks or even concepts you'd like me to break down! Vaios
Yeah, doesn’t get better than this. Lots of really good insights from someone with a desirable execution and a lot of knowledge that clearly comes from lots of experimentation and being smart.
This is by far the best tutorial I have ever seen. You address all the problems that one faces and how to fix them. Gumbi is still a wierd one for me, idk what I'm doing is even a Gumbi. But I'll keep trying and then move to the TDR. Thanks a lot for your insights!
I wish you did a raiz tutorial like this. I really like your in depth explaining of basically every muscle. I've been raizing for 2 months now but I still can't swing it
I've been trying to do gumbis and corks for years, watched a ton of tutorials but could never get it. Your style of teaching tricking is so unique, very detailed and breaking it down with progressions. Thanks to you, I finally understand these moves now. Keep making these awesome videos!
Today I tried tdr about 200 times and didn't get it, luckily I found this ... It has a completely different prospective from what I thought! Best tutorial I have seen so far, keep it up ❤️
Thank you so much, I will try all this in my next session. And by the way man, I think this is the greatest TDR tutorial I’ve ever seen ;) if you could make more like this pls, that would help a lot
I love your tutorial style so much! I've been waiting for another since your cork one, it helped me so much ☺️ idk what specific tutorial I want but I'd be happy with getting insight from you about any trick!
I have working on this trick for a half year jow and havent made much progress :( I love your tutorial that it is so informative but i still have 1 question to ask. - Pro trickers always recommend to learn tdr feom gumbi but it will teach you to place you leading foot exactly towards the direction youre going but when you do trd i barely see any one placing their leading foot like that. Ps can you please do another tdr video but with tornado kick approach? Thanks for your video man, youre the best
Great Tut man! I’m going to practice that first thing tomorrow. Keep making these please! I’m already subbed. Whatever tricks you think are good I’ll try it. 👍🙌🔥
You say to kick back with your leg for Td raiz. However in your own Td raiz your hips turn over and kick to the side or even forwards, which is what you said not to do. Am I missing something? Because I would love to raiz like you!
True but kyles is a different version that has been proven to be less effective. Vellu uses it too and he's now working on changing it because it limits his power, so kyles tutorial while it's good, it's teaching a less effective version of the move
Thx man, just telling you cause it's a hard habit to break once you go down that path, and Kyle also said personally his tdr is flawed. But yeah I totally understand your point man!
hmmmm, nice tutorial. the gumbi type tdr is my goal. i would say i have a pretty solid gumbi, but i cant turn it into a tdr. everytime i do tdr it will become more of the valdez type. can u give some more tips and progressions on how to ultimately turn the gumbi into a tdr?
GrassHopper1323 i would guess that its mostly fear related. I do three kinds of shitty ones: a very horizontal raiz that i just put my hand down, the valdez type which yes i turn too early but if i turn later i crash, and if i force it from a gumbi it becomes a crappy 1 handed cartwheel although when i gumbi normally it is quite alright. Imma try recording them soon
Zuionify okay, fear can certainly be an obstacle but send me some videos so I can properly see what might be going wrong! I’ll give you specific tips if I can!
Absolutely! You could pop full or punch full out of gumbi (not just swing) and it would be very similar to doing standing cart or roundoff. I would say it's probably harder from gumbi though, just cause gumbi is harder. Not as common as swing but 100% you can!
GrassHopper1323 Only a couple months, the best “tricking” combo I can do is standing full pop full, but I am still pretty young (13 years), hopefully I can get as good as you some day 😆
This is a good tutorial but make sure your also taking your advice because you are going to the side and not over the top like you said with your leg going back but I understand what you're getting at good job.
I haven't been teaching classes or coaching much in the past few years because I've been more focussed on my own training and performing but I'm happy to arrange a private lesson or give online tips any time, let me know!
"There's lots of..." = "There is lots of ..." "Here's some ... tutorials" = "Here is some ... tutorials" You're using "is" when you should be using "are", though it's hidden in contractions. A lot of people do this, and honestly it's not even that big of a deal in practice, but I just thought you should be aware of it (if you aren't already).
Thanks everyone for the comments and subs, I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad i'm able to help some of you out.

Vaios
this tutorial should be on KTL. its really awesome. gave me a new way of thinking about gumbi and tdr
Do u even swing your arms when doing TDR?
Yeah, doesn’t get better than this. Lots of really good insights from someone with a desirable execution and a lot of knowledge that clearly comes from lots of experimentation and being smart.
Peter Soar haha I appreciate the comment!!
hey man, I just discovered your videos today. I hope you get back to making them because your insights and breakdowns make so much sense.
This is by far the best tutorial I have ever seen. You address all the problems that one faces and how to fix them. Gumbi is still a wierd one for me, idk what I'm doing is even a Gumbi.
But I'll keep trying and then move to the TDR.
Thanks a lot for your insights!
Please do make a tutorial on gumbi .
Or even a breakdown for gumbi Please sir 🙏🏻 I really need your help .
Please make a video on gumbi break down
I wish you did a raiz tutorial like this.

My friend kept recommending this tutorial to me and it now makes alot of sense as to why! Can't wait to put these things into practice
You definitely changed my perspective on gumbi. I’ll revisit this. Thanks!

I love your tutorial style so much! I've been waiting for another since your cork one, it helped me so much ☺️ idk what specific tutorial I want but I'd be happy with getting insight from you about any trick!

Thanks! Amazing tutorial
Very helpful tips thanks
I have working on this trick for a half year jow and havent made much progress :(
I love your tutorial that it is so informative but i still have 1 question to ask.
I had to pause the video at "Aboot touchdown raiz" and have a giggle. Hahaha. Helpful video thanks
Sidequestion.... how far into the splits can you go? Is that a requirement?
Dude, I do capoeira. Great tutorial.

littlegrassdragon I hope it’s helpful, thanks bro!!
Best turorial
4:19 does kicking straight back also count for a regular raiz?
Doing the macocoo helped me learn the td raiz
Hope this video helps
I really want to learn this bad ass trick
I like soo much the way you teach keep on it!! I will practice tdr bc is one of my weakness :s The next video I would like to be switch gainers
I'm definitely gonna make a gainer switch video!! Thanks for the feedback :)
Great Tut man! I’m going to practice that first thing tomorrow. Keep making these please! I’m already subbed. Whatever tricks you think are good I’ll try it. 👍🙌🔥

Thank you a lot!
Excellent video! :)
Thanks man!!!
You say to kick back with your leg for Td raiz. However in your own Td raiz your hips turn over and kick to the side or even forwards, which is what you said not to do. Am I missing something? Because I would love to raiz like you!
great tutorial man, maybe another for btwist/atwist
Really Nice tips
Thanks a lot
Fantastic tutorial, but does not having a lawnmower make it easier?
thank you
6:28 nice combo, what's that first kick called
Quantum Blitz I think it’s a butterfly kick
Tips for high jump!!
Thank you very much!!!!
I love your video
This is an awesome tutorial but if you are looking for another try plan zeros
True but kyles is a different version that has been proven to be less effective. Vellu uses it too and he's now working on changing it because it limits his power, so kyles tutorial while it's good, it's teaching a less effective version of the move
Wow that’s an extremely intelligent insight but I think Kyle teaches it, while grasshopper explains and gives awesome tips👍 so there both great.
Thx man, just telling you cause it's a hard habit to break once you go down that path, and Kyle also said personally his tdr is flawed. But yeah I totally understand your point man!
Good sir😘😘😘😘
how to scoot? i can land standing full but when scooting get negative height...
Hmmmmmm scoot is Definitely a video that needs to be made - I dunno if i'm the one to do it but i'm gonna give it some serious thought. Thanks man!
What was that nasty combo at 6:28 !!!!
Aerial carrythrough tdraiz swing cork :)
hmmmm, nice tutorial. the gumbi type tdr is my goal. i would say i have a pretty solid gumbi, but i cant turn it into a tdr. everytime i do tdr it will become more of the valdez type. can u give some more tips and progressions on how to ultimately turn the gumbi into a tdr?
Zuionify hmm hard to say without a video, do you have footage? Could be that you’re turning too soon or not waiting for your leg to come up
GrassHopper1323 i would guess that its mostly fear related.
How to get flexible??
6:28 what is that move ??
aerial carrythrough/swingthrough tdraiz swing cork
Is it possible to do a full twist out of a gumbi? Would it give you good momentum?
Absolutely! You could pop full or punch full out of gumbi (not just swing) and it would be very similar to doing standing cart or roundoff. I would say it's probably harder from gumbi though, just cause gumbi is harder. Not as common as swing but 100% you can!
GrassHopper1323 Sick! Thanking you from Windsor, Canada haha, glad to see that there are some really good Canadian trickers out there like yourself.
Sickkkk Windsor, not even that far. How long have you been tricking?
GrassHopper1323 Only a couple months, the best “tricking” combo I can do is standing full pop full, but I am still pretty young (13 years), hopefully I can get as good as you some day 😆
your gumbi and your tdr are so fucking clean jfc
Please help me to get my b-twist higher....
this might be a good idea for a tutorial actually!
Daang.. this guy is fuken dope!!! - bboy from LA.
🔥🔥😍😍
Tip about twisting core, not hands just core is saving my tdr.
This is a good tutorial but make sure your also taking your advice because you are going to the side and not over the top like you said with your leg going back but I understand what you're getting at good job.
what the fkk... u are a beastttttttt
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Gaston Malondra ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!
😘😘😘😍
How come I’ve never seen you before damn
Even after 3+ years, am I still allowed to send you my tdr for feedback? :D
Please do!
Why dont you teach at the monkey vault?
I haven't been teaching classes or coaching much in the past few years because I've been more focussed on my own training and performing but I'm happy to arrange a private lesson or give online tips any time, let me know!
Also that auto zoom/focus bullshit that's going on is seriously annoying, but your gumbi and tdr advice is really fuckin good though.
Orpheus thanks for the comment man! I agree about the camera focus though, might have affected my decision to buy it if I knew...
I think i jump to high so my hand dont touch the ground🗿
Thanks! Mas doeu so de olhar voce se contorcendo todo

Ey?
Your camera cant stop enfoque? Hahaha

Orpheus hahaha I guess I was trying to be informal, thanks for bringing my attention to it, never noticed!
