hello mate, i used to lived in Finland for 4 years and I love your English with Finnish accent, really bring back a lot of great memories. And also love the Finnish national flag. Overall, nice tutorial, thank you and much love!!
This is a great tutorial man and i also want to thank you for all the advice you gave me on the gumbi because of you i can finally do it without any issues thanks a million again
Thanks to this tuto I got my Raiz pretty much first try! It's not very high but at least I can land it. I just have to train it again and again until I'm satisfied with the form!
thanks for the tutorial, ive never had too much trouble with td raiz but normal raiz always gave me trouble. the side split lift into the front split is something im going to work on, i always tried lifting my leg straight back and would fail and give up and over cheat the raiz, anyways again thanks for the tutorial!
It would be interesting to see how flexibility affects tricking, especially leg flexibility. Maybe it could be a fun challenge for you and interesting for us to see you try different tricks where you gradually use less and less flexibility !
@@lucasboisneau4256 it affects but in a different way people think. Flexible people have easier time opening the legs during the tricks but can't necessarily do so due to not having the nerval adaptations and strength required to do so. I can definitely do my tricks in a way that they look really bad but it requires some actual trying and a different mindset when doing them.
I have a question, if my plant foot keeps landing facing inward (closing the hip), how can I get it a little more open? It makes it 20 times harder to twist because I have limited mobility for the swing. Didn’t used to have this problem Edit* plant foot coming off the hand^^
Have you recently lost some mobility in your hips, adductors and hamstrings? As long as you have enough of those and enough momentum on the takeoff it should be fine.
What do i do about wrist pain?? I wanna push through but the pain be unbearable. Iv been doing strength and conditioning but it dont really prevent the pain but hand stands are easier
im having trouble inverting the raiz, even after trying to look for the ground im still maintaining a similar inversion, i suppose its just a commitment thing. Is there any other type of trick that has a similar feeling or something that i can try to think of when doing the raiz?
Cart full with an eagle position feels a lot similar to a raiz. But basically you just need to keep doing it until you are comfortable enough with it. Train the setup on it's own too!
@@johzuke1 thanks, uh also disregard my more recent comment asking the same thing, i didnt see that you had responded and had completely forgot about this lol. My cart full is really ass, but i do appreciate the tip, i will definetly start to focus on setup more seperatly.
wait so what I should learn first? td raiz or just raiz? whats easier? (btw I am asking this type of question, bc I can do backflip, but can't do back handspring)
Probably raiz. Sometimes people learn td raiz more easily but I'd say in general it's easier to learn raiz and then learn to td raiz but you can really choose.
This is my 2025 goal, thanks for the great tutorial and on point explaining!

Only half way thru this and already so frickin hyped to get back out there and finally(...) nail these damn two moves... thank you, Johannes!
Yeah I'm having so much trouble with my TD raiz my raiz is really good tho
You only need to learn the optimal takeoff angle and reaching the floor with your arm.
Very comprehensive tutorial!
You share lots of valuable knowledge that helps many trickers from all over the world.
Bruh this is the cleanest Raiz i have ever seen
I don't really plan on doing this
I'm just looking for animation reference
But I guess actually knowing how its done will help more on the long run
Coming back to this video after a year, this was the very first of your tutorials I watched

You made the tutorial that I asked you to, thank you. I will teach TD Raiz, thanks.
The best tricker I'd say 🌊
Based on this 😄

It's not really something I can answer. I do not know the root cause. Everyone has their own issues they gotta fix when doing tricks.
So when it comes to swinging how do I break through and transition to a swing corkscrew
Especially TD RAIZ
When your Td raiz is good swinging to cork should come pretty easily. Train Td raiz swing nothing a lot and then td raiz gainer flash a lot!
@@johzuke1 I will try that thank yuu

How i open my splits... For raiz or td raiz.
Do them a lot and train your dynamic flexibility. Static stretching doesn't help much.
I trying take hand over head like Fuju, and my hand can't touch the ground soon enough

You're the fuckin best Johannes 🔥🔥🔥 thank's you
I agree
Where is ur country bro
Finland
This is a really great tutorial! will your T.D. raiz improve overtime? because, my T.D. raiz did invert a bit but its still horizontal
It will improve if you put in the effort to make it improve. Same as with all tricks 👍

Thanks
So funny hearing him say the word over and over, "raíz" is Portuguese, and in Brazil most people pronounce it "ha-eeze"
Rise Rais I don't give damn😁
A raiz with both legs together in air is better. Some of breakdancers use it
You mean envergado. Got a tutorial on that too and it has its own purposes. There are no better or worse tricks.
Duuuuuude
Can i be your disciple😁🙏
Thanks for pour hell
Really need new format of educational tricking videos, where you're reviewing subscribers' mistakes :D
