Приєднався 17 чер 2009
My name is Vaios Skretas and I've been Tricking since March of 2008. I live, train, and teach in Toronto, Canada.
This channel used to be called "Grasshopper1323". I changed the name to "Art of Tricking" as I started my journey of weekly uploads to build this channel and explore the sport and art of Tricking.
Thank you everyone for your support!

CORONAVAIOS - Vaios Skretas 2020
Hello everyone, hope you're all doing really well.
The name of this sampler is playing off my 2012 sampler called "Vaiolence" which was created by my friend Giulio and can be watched here: ua-cam.com/video/duDYwAqY81o/v-deo.html. The name "Coronavaios" isn't meant to disrespect anyone or make light of a serious situation - I've been covid tested in the last few months more times than I have fingers and toes to count...and most of this footage is around 6 months old (plus travel clips are from 2019 in the UK, Israel, and Jordan). So despite taking the situation seriously, I'm just trying to have a bit of fun with the name.
It's an odd time to be releasing a sampler; hoping to inspire people while gyms are locked down and training is basically limited to solo concrete sessions (unless it's summer where you are). It's been a tough year for trickers, but lack of gym access is hardly something to complain about in the grand scheme, considering some trickers watching this may have never had gym access at all, and still find ways to train.
This sampler is dedicated to the tricking community, specifically to the individuals and communities that have lost friends in 2020. It's important to stay connected with each other and keep our minds and bodies healthy until we're out of this period of time. Remember the most important words ever spoken in our community: "Tricking doesn't need your skills, Tricking needs your spirit"
Special thanks to my friends, Ocular Vision Media for the awesome edit, cinematography skills, and endless patience with me while we shot both in and outdoors.
Thanks for watching!

Helpful Backtuck/Backflip Tip

This is some advice I found extremely helpful when I learned it, although it's contrary to how we are commonly taught... Let me know what you think in the comments! Really curious of people's opinions on this one. Link to supporting video: "One Exersize to Master your Backflip": ua...

Was that your first
Thank you brother! Solid advice! Stay strong 💪
This video is vary good, I hope it will be vary useful
4:19 does kicking straight back also count for a regular raiz?
I wish you did a raiz tutorial like this. I really like your in depth explaining of basically every muscle. I've been raizing for 2 months now but I still can't swing it
Very good tips
still the best cork tutorial up till this date
Due to my taekwondo background I have a habit of pivoting my takeoff foot when doing cheat kicks. Do you have any tips to remove it, or do you think it helps cheat the kick?
side step with the inside of your foot facing forwards, but for normal vertical kicks pivoting is still very good, just not for vanish or mid-combo
hey man, I just discovered your videos today. I hope you get back to making them because your insights and breakdowns make so much sense.
Wawooo I had lost hope in cork but let me wake up
Thank to get this Video, I have really tried to search for Detailed Corkscrew by Grasshopper for than two years now.but finally I am lucky I have got it.
Progressive overload. Children understand it, it is also called play. Hope you are doing well man, I am fifty and I'd like you to know that things get easier when the focus is on finding the most simple starting point and reaching out confidently from there in small steps. A good starting point would be the first postitions in bagua and ballet and using tools like drawing lines with the toes and fingers to refine balance before increasing amplitude. Have a great year !
Why dont you teach at the monkey vault?
I haven't been teaching classes or coaching much in the past few years because I've been more focussed on my own training and performing but I'm happy to arrange a private lesson or give online tips any time, let me know!
Thanks! Mas doeu so de olhar voce se contorcendo todo
Thanks ! Great explanations
Daang.. this guy is fuken dope!!! - bboy from LA.
Idk if this will work but if it does thanks
Dude, I do capoeira. Great tutorial.
this is one of the most informative videos ive ever seen, PhD level cork tutorial thank you for making this sir🙌
Thank you bro!! Really glad you enjoyed and I’m low key making something of a “part 2” that I hope you will like! Aiming to finish it up real soon!!
🔥🔥😍😍
little cat in the background 😍 ahhhhh and thaks a lot i will defently try it
Please make a video on gumbi break down
Please do make a tutorial on gumbi . Or even a breakdown for gumbi Please sir 🙏🏻 I really need your help .
Definitely the best cork tutorial vid out there, I have really stiff shoulders so can’t set high with my arms, will this affect my cork? Thanks
Honestly the way I set for my corks I don’t think you need to reach that high. It’s always a balance of chest and arm placement, more important chest because it weighs more, so as long as your chest placement is good, the arms mostly help you twist. You can swing them up but don’t have to be over your head. I’m working on an updated tutorial that covers stronger technique for twisting and some fixes I’ve made to my tech since this vid! Thanks for the support and definitely don’t worry about shoulder flexibility for corks :) gumbis maybe a bit more challenging with stiff shoulders haha
Even after 3+ years, am I still allowed to send you my tdr for feedback? :D
Please do!
I know this means nothing but your videos should get wayyy more views! Honestly might be your thumbnails? I don't know just a thought. Anyway, love the edit in the beginning! What song is that?
Ayyy incredible work sir🙌 been a fan since 2012, really dig your attention to detail in your tricks and edits
This is such an amazing video dude, impeccably filmed, I LOVE the edit and the tricks are WHAM! 🥰
If you wait, you do get your chest higher in the air. It's not as efficient that way but it looks like you went higher. But pulling your tuck earlier doesn't appear as high but you can get around easier. Also it depends how your measuring hight.
I think i jump to high so my hand dont touch the ground🗿
This is dummy fire 🔥 My favorite sampler so far Cinematography is dope
This has been awesome. Thanks!
ooh men!! those TD are insane !! what a beast!
Sprained my ankle and broke my big toe, been stuck on trampoline for a while
This is so good!
Why are you traveling forward
Best turorial
Best tutorial for me! It really gave me insight on how to accomplish these moves! Thanks bro! Much appreciated. 👍🏾
Got my cork from this tutorial. I kept trying to set set and it’s a bit different than gymnastics
awesome!
More tutorials. Your tutorials are top notch. Maybe a video on tricking + aging ?
just noticed youre on kojos trick lab so disregard the bit about tutorials. Just general tricking advice preferable here on YT like the topics you cover already
I've been repping back tuck to improve my back tuck and it doesn't seem to be the most efficient way to train it because it took a lot of days to recover from such session. This exercise is more efficient and doesn't task the body with too much stress. Thank you for the great tip
This is the best sampler ive watched I just can't stoo watching it
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it :)
bro i messaged you on instagram and you seen me :(
Thanks a lot
This was an absolute masterpiece, should be accessible on cinemas! You killed it with this one man 💪💥 would love to see some more kicks in the next video though 👊
Bets Cork tutorial/methodology on UA-cam !!
this is a tricking feast
Wow I love it. Thank you for making such a great and inspiring sampler. :-)
How to get flexible??
