I'd still get out the scales and calipers. If it's still iffy, I'd do a specific gravity test.
Green space elephants like myself have bought several items off ebay.. i do basically the same 2 checks as you and only buy couns.. bars seem alot easier to fake.. i never bother with "great" deals either as if its too good to be true it always is.. actual found 2 regular dealers i use now from there . I have been scammed couple times though but ebay itself was very helpful sorting this evennsending me a qr code tocscan so i didnt have to pay postage returning them. Can be easier to just use a dealer though but sometimes fun to have a quick browse on items ending in next 30 mins👍 great follow up video .
I got ripped off on EBay. Bought a coin for $18.00 and found out a year later it was silver coated iron. I found out the coin was from China , and the seller paid $1.00 fo it.l

The pinger app and the sliding magnet test work have worked well on my stack. I deployed the pinger app during your Britannia pings and got two out of three green space elephants. Better audio quality from my tv would probably nail the third frequency :-)
The 2013 I have is also very shiny. Proof looking.
I've never bought from eBay, I should because I could get cheaper deals.. But for me, I would just worry about it in my stack and it would irritate me. Great video mate. Like 115! To me.. just a thought but that coin looks oddly clean and shiny for a 10 year old minted coin.. Not even 1 milkspot... Hope it's legit bro. Great video mate, I’ve got off eBay a couple of times, I only used trusted sellers that have sold a lot of silver! It’s pretty close to what I’d pay by a dealer so I normally just stick to the dealer!
Yeah makes sense if the price is similar or even slightly more, just for the peace of mind!

I bought two stackers from Scottsdale on eBay. The deal was for two and with free shipping. I actually saved 40.00 buying from eBay as opposed to the website. I had to triple check because it seemed to good to be true. But it definitely states that it is the Scottsdale mint account so I’m very hopeful I got a deal.

I do agree your tests were pretty good and combined with buying from quality sellers and nothing too good to be true in the listing or rice you might be ok.
However there are a lot of takes where they are using green space element in the coins and that can pass both your tests...
That green space element is copper! A fake coin made by silver coating copper will pass the magnet test and will ping somewhat. If I were you I would ping both coins and compare. But I always use the Pung Coin app on every coin and round I buy.
I always weigh as well. I don't usually measure but i do place a good on top of the new one and compare size & thickness that way. Silve coins and copper coins cannot have the same size and weight. That is the biggest telltale (and ping is always off).
They key is, to make a perfect fake is so much trouble the scammers just don't bother and most fakes are crap!

That Britannia is really nice when you first opened it up I thought it was a little too shiny and I thought it was stainless steel or something like that but when the ping test came good and the magnet test were good I thought it must’ve been a good pick up. Friday I bought a Queen Elizabeth ii 2023 1oz. Britania , .9999 gold , I paid $2050.00 USD , how bad did i screw up ?
You probably did ok! But get it tested or weigh it, measure it, and ping test it on a smart phone. If it is fake, Ebay should protect you.
Take it to a coin dealer and get it tested. But just hold it for ten years at least and it will hold its buying power.

I’ve always been told that a coin can pass 2 but not 3 of the typical tests. The two you did plus scales. Was waiting to see the weight, so far so good though. Love Britannias, they are beautiful! Hope it’s legit, thanks for the vid

I have bought a few bits from eBay, & to the best of my knowledge I’m quite happy with all I’ve received from limited tests I have done magnet & weight and look. I got stoked a few days ago at a small antique fair. I saw what i thought was a Canadian maple I told the guy that I collected 1oz bullion coins & bars. It’s my fault for lacking the knowledge however the dealer must have know it wasn’t real 1oz silver but he took 25 pounds of me when I got home it failed mag & weight test. A lesson learnt however what goes round comes round I believe in karma.

Love your videos!, As far as ebay, I love it, you can find deals ,with experience like you said you'll be fine, as well ebay has that money back guarantee, which is great, I've been buying (and selling) on ebay for years, personally I like buying coins on ebay, I do more of my larger purchases of bullion from online deals , just so I know it's real right out the gate, and ebay if I get a fake coin I simply return it, or half the time I get money back without even having to return the (fake) coin, cause it does happen from time to time, as far as checking for fakes, im not an expert on bullion, but the coins i can usually spot fakes, no testing ...anyways GL!
You need to hit it with another object besides a real coin...

5000 feedback!!!!!!! . That's ridiculous that takes years and years to build up.. iv got less than 100 feedback. I only started selling a few months ago, I sell lots of silver coins ,I would NEVER Rip anyone off. But with eBay the customer is totally protected anyway
