Airbus A320 Windshear system explained- Predictive and Reactive

The A320 windshear system consists of the Predictive and Reactive windshear systems. This video explains both the systems and how the A320 generates alerts for pilots.

Sorry guys but I think you need to check your data. In the CAUTION at 1:32, when W/S AHEAD is displayed in amber on the PFD, the aural alert should be "Monitor Radar Display." FOR INFO "Windshear Ahead" is an aural WARNING given during Take-Off. On approach with a WARNING with a red W/S AHEAD on the PFD, the aural warning is "GO AROUND WINDSHEAR AHEAD."

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. At 01:32 the audio alert should indeed be "monitor radar display".

Thanks for your msg. I am afraid thats not correct.
During take off, PWS alerts are inhibited between 100kts upto 50 feet.
