In space of one month, your safe haven suddenly brought out your hidden inner self, a man full of wisdom. It was also an opportunity to stay with your parents and that was nice.
@Daniel Chuckson For a lot of people, nothing has changed. They are still broke and couldnt go malls, restaurants, holidays etc etc etc even before the pandemic.
@Daniel Chuckson have u been in hell? ✌ seriously, struggle is real here, but we are so grateful all is well # still fighting like kumander strong😁💪✊✌❤
@Daniel Chuckson i've been travelling so many places luzon, visayas and mindanao, i'm already 53 yrs old, never seen dying of starvation, Filipinos lifestyle is overwhelming, just imagine the way we handle our expenses, even we dont have enough money , our eating habit, our vices is to much gumbling, drinking, smoking, name it we have it do you think we are starving? Try to visit remote area if they are dying of starvation.
This video is a combination of sadness and happiness.. i’ve been there once..it is sad because you have to leave your parents & your country and happy because you have to board that flight to find what your heart is longing... things that will make you happy and complete as a man. Im happy to see you Anselm enjoying and loving our Filipino culture and lifestyle.. happy to see you living a simple happy life thousand of miles away from your country of origin. Mabuhay ka Anselm.
“Safe haven in time of crisis is great but you don’t grow there, you survive. I am not looking for survival but I am looking for growth to make the best of life”. Wow! Such a strong, inspiring words from you, Kumander Daot. Praying for your continued healing. Hope that one day we can bump into each other whether in the UK or Philippines. Keep fighting & stay safe & happy X
I'm so excited for you and rooting for you all the way. If ever you feel like you're breaking down, talk to your viewers and your fans. I think all the pick-me-up and the support you will receive will be uplifting. Thank you for skipping all the fancy schmancy and fakeness of vlogging and just being humble and real.

Life is a journey Kumander, sometimes we get tired, and what we can do is step back, rest and have a quiet time to heal ourselves... look at yourself now , your laugh and smile has a spring to it unlike last year you laughed with tiredness... Welcome back Kumander Daot🙏
You surprise us KD. You look happy & excited. Visit UK every year to see your parents, I do that every year.. visit my homeland Philippines so I don't get homesick. Funny the lady in the airport recognized you, you got lots of followers!
Hang on there SimplePleasures; I've been living outside P.I for over 31 years; and I plan to head back home in P.I. at a province where I grew up until age 11; it's truly nothing like home; can't put a price-tag on our beloved island.
This video makes me felt sad co’z you’re going to leave your parents again but Im happy for you KD co’z you’re going to be reunited with your lovely wife❤️
I should watch the whole video before commenting but I just wanna say how clever you put this whole video together. You really are becoming good with your editing, and a fun story teller. We get to discover things/places around you. Enjoy being back home 🇵🇭. It is always a privilege to be where your heart is. Amping.
I love it on how you view the people down or besides the hotel, Squatter or Local people I admire on how you respect them. You have such a humility and kindness sir, Welcome to Philippines again Sir.
What struck me is when you said, a safe haven is great but you don´t grow in a safe haven, you just survive there...but you wanted to GROW..that´s why you left your safe haven...Ahhh GROWTH.... .that was awesome!
“Safe haven is great.... “ and growing comes challenges, blood sweat and tears. One of that is your fish pond. I am still hoping you will hit it one day. Just praying it too Kumander D🙏👍
Great to see you back in the Philippines, Kumander, and glad to see how happy you look being back. I’ve never seen anyone’s channel grow as rapidly as yours! Well deserved!! :)
I am so happy that you decided you were ready to go home, and so envious because I still can't go there. Newport was fine and it was interesting to see things I didn't know about, but the Philippines is where my interest lies and where I see my future and the more I can see of it until such time as I am allowed to go back the better it is for me. Keep vlogging, keep healing and be happy.
I like your comment because it's basically how I feel as well regarding KUMANDER'S return to the PHILIPPINES. Going home to the UK was very interesting and told us a lot about him but he just seems out of place there. Seeing him back "home" makes me happy for him. My wife is from DAVAO and anyone even remotely connected to DAVAO or that goes there frequently and vlogs about it, then I am interested. You know, KUMANDER DAOT is getting really good at this vlogging and editing; I am very impressed.
EXCELLENT DECISION KUMMADER -PHILIPPINES IS WHERE. BELONGED,AND WHERE YOUR FRIENDS ARE WATING FOR YOU...STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY....KUMMANDER I SALUTE YOU.....
Welcome back to the Philippines Kumander Daot! Keep on! You’re one of my favorite vloggers. Enjoy your content and your being real! God bless you. Hope to meet you someday!
Glad you're doing better and that you're still fighting. My younger brother is going through something similar. Most days he is alright and some days he's fighting too. The only thing I can do is be there for him and try to make things better. He watches your videos with me to remind him that he isn't alone. No one has to be. Keep on keeping. The Philippines is glad to have you back.
These ppl are happier than the ones complaining about them. spot on. huge fan of yours, wish i could meet you b4 you leave Cebu. Greetings from a Norwegian living in Cebu
Welcome back kumander Daot! Lot of Filipinos waiting for you back home.. Your beautiful wife and your doggies are happy to see you.. Continue to fight with positive outlook in life. I know you will get through it. God is with you. Don't forget. He loves you. Hang in there.
I got addicted to your superb storytelling and awesome visual presentation! You are an exciting filmmaker... that gets your audience hooked with suspense and awe from start to end. Your work truly showed your good kind and level of action and intellect. How I wish you would include in your content the possibility of a travel vlog featuring historic places, please include Baguio, which is a sure hit to watch with your kind of presentation.
Yey! The KUMANDER is back! Thanks for your kind words about your pinoy support. Praying for your continued healing in the Philippines, with your wife-- her presence should make your Davao home a Safe Haven, too! Welcome back, Sir!

In doing so, you’ve provided an example to others that we all need help once in a while so we can continue to thrive with our God-given talents. Praying that your treatments go well via Zoom as you head back to your home in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Ingat! 🥰
ok, the park bench comment was a real LOL moment. Can't tell u how jealous i am of you. I don't think there is any better place to heal/recover , yes the weather and beautiful scenery but OMG the filipino people just raise me up. As for the comment about slum area, personally i would prefer to live amongst them in that slum than in a row of millionaire mansions with some stuck up pretentious community in any other country. The Philippines and filipino helped me before when suffering with grief and depression and the thoughts and hope to get back there is often all that motivates me.
@@havenpersonalcare7968 just the truth for me. The family values there and u often find those with the least actually give the most. Nowhere I feel happier.
Flatliner, thank you for that beautiful testimony of humanity. Yes, we filipinos, are always welcoming all sorts of people from different parts of the world. Almost zero discrimination issues. Well, only the ignorant few has done it. But, just ignore them. One tourist I met here in Canada, told me that filipino people, even when they are hungry on the streets, you can still see them smiling at you, they are polite, & called you maam & sir. Not very many countries does that. Anyway, Flatliner, thank you, please visit the Philippines again. Filipinos will glad to welcome you back!
miss your daily vlogs in the philippines vs the on in your hometown, dont get me wrong, but u give hope and life to people who also are in the shame sink hole with you by your videos, stay positive kumander!!
Stay strong, there are so many people that care about you that are complete strangers to you. I am here in Maryland USA and look forward to your vlogs. I struggled with depression in my 20s but thank God I kept pushing through. I am 62 now married to an amazing filipino woman and have three wonderful children. You are cared about as I can see your a genuine person with a good heart. Keep strong

What a surprised KD! I’m so glad you’re back home in the Philippines and continue your healing! Your parents were grateful that you came home to them , and now letting you go again to find your own journey back and get some extra strength and keep healing! You have my prayers , support and respect! Kulas and his team and the Cateel Team will be happy to see you back so soon! Your dearest wife will be over joyed and your puppies too and your Fishpond staff! I pray you’ll find Jesus Christ to be your personal Lord and Savior , He is going to heal you completely and your soul and He will give you the peace and comfort you needed! I’ll pray for you , your family in England and those you love . So Kumander, once again you caught me off guard with the news your returning home! Its great you have progressed to the point of returning to the Philippines and i am so looking forward to seeing your next new venture. The UK was a great circuit breaker and loved the way you explained your situation. You may not know it but your also helping others see how you have honestly dealt with this. Kudos to you! On another note I loved seeing your Parents home and the historic town you lived in as a child. I wish you all the best and enjoy your forced "me time" from Melbourne tonight.
Kumander D., welcome back to the Philippines! Wish I could say the same. Our flight to the Philippines in April was cancelled. We are just lucky we got our money back for the flight after 3 months. Anyhow, I am so happy for you that you were determine to go thru all that hurdles for the trip. I know in the long run, it will be all worth it. Kumander D. , I am very sure you miss the Philippines so much, your wife is there, your dogs & all that friends of yours in Cateel. You actually going to be in Cateel before Kulas will. Wishing you a continues healing process Kumander. The filipino people loves you & welcome you. Mabuhay!

Hello, I just watched your video, reminded me of my boyfriend’s leaving japan to UK 2wks ago. Ac that was literally an adventure for us. I supported him to have PCR test in Tokyo and arranged his flight with Qatar airways. Then we have to fill in the locator form on internet UK gov site... Too much to do! I think this experiences will be a legacy for the future. We can talk about the pandemic to the next young generations.
I really enjoyed watching this vlog and i can't believe I've only just discovered this channel considering the amount of vloggers i watch in the Philippines as i want to visit when borders open, just subbed and best wishes from Geordie land.
