- Pasalubong. The favourite word on the lips of every person expecting returning travellers.
I visited Apo ni Lola in Davao City before I left, and bought a few treats and surprises for my parents. I finally got round to giving them out, over a week after arriving!
I also flew my drone for the first time - and of course, there are inclusions about food, because I'm still quarantined and have nothing else to talk about!

ABOUT MY DRONE:
I have a DJI Mini 2. It has a current operator's licence, and I have a flyer's licence, though my drone is exempted from the latter. It is 249g, C0 class, so I am allowed to fly above residential areas. I took reasonable efforts to avoid violating anyone's privacy, and my shots do not show much more than, for example, Google Earth would show. I took particular care when back gardens were in view. All filming is done in accordance with existing privacy laws.

These challenges definitely do not get fixed overnight and they may never go away but when times get hard all that you can do is to lean on your support group when you can't find the strength to power through on your own. Just please remember that we are all here to be a part of your support system. the camera and vlogging can help but live interaction is sometimes better. if you struggle try doing a completely unplanned live stream and watch as your supporters come from around the world to be with you. You are loved!

People w/ intense emotions are usually passionate in their own fields..like actors, musicians, painters etc..may be there is something you always want to do where you can channel that intense emotion...you're human its ok if sometimes you feel empty..life is not 100pct happiness..that's why we got tears whenever we're lonely and in pain.

How dare anyone criticize your parent's home and say it is messy! Their lifestyle and their comfort suits them and the way they prefer to live. No one would ever come into my home and criticize the way I live without me kicking them out! I say to those people - let me do my thing and you do yours. In other words those people need to worry about their own life and not the lives of others.

So difficult starting a bizness in Filipines. So many obstacles like theft,trust. Your greatest down fall in the Philippines is money. To Reside in the Filipines is a great life.

The other day I moved house and borrowed a friend's truck to move. I used a bedsheet to pad some of the cargo and it blew off the truck bed, fell on the engine, and caught the engine on fire. Now I have my friends truck in the mechanics getting some very expensive repairs. Would have been a hell of a lot cheaper just to get a removalist. But hey, what could go wrong right? Ha. But ho-hum. Life goes on, keep breathing, keep living, keep feeling. It is all good.

And yes I am serious about it being that cold which also includes the windchill factor. I was outside training in that dry cold temperatures, I never forgot how cold that felt. It didn't matter how much clothing you were wearing the dry cold went right through it all. It felt like I was burning
