@@spamminspiff7685 Rome was not built in a day, to develop a foundation based on skill in an specific scenario such as a smash fighting game takes time. For instance, Sonicfox is not the best at Soul Calibus 6, yet he has competed at the highest level and has won tournaments in said game. He also has won tournaments in DBFZ, SF5, Injustice, MK, Marvel, DOA, Skullgirls, and who knows which other games. Give SonicFox some time, and he will become a menace to the "settled" smash pro hierarchy.

It's okay! :) I don't know if you were in an arena or not, but if you weren't, it might be worth finding someone/some people to play with in an arena if you're just trying someone out instead of quick play (unless you don't mind a decent-ish chance of losing GSP). Even if you were more experienced with Little Mac, it'd be extremely hard for you to have won that match anyway because you were up against likely the best Smash Ultimate player (at the moment, anyway) with the likely the best character (at the moment, anyway) in Smash Ultimate. You were also using possibly the worst (at the moment, anyway) character in the game. Don't beat yourself up, please. :)
Little Mac is by no means the worst character in this game. He was worse in smash 4 and he was still decent there. Rivaling sheik for the best neutral in the game
Technically 50 seconds since 9.76 is closer to 10 than it is 9. When the game starts and goes from 6:00.00 to 5:59.99 you wouldn't say a whole second has passed.
@@fangiscool1 well no because as a speedrunner we typically use timers that count up. So it goes from 0 to 1 after a second passes and it's much easier for people to see exactly how much time has passed, unlike in the clip I'm referring to.
@@fangiscool1 yeah... that's called igt (in-game time), and since it's accurate there's no reason to round the numbers. Plus, again, it's typically counting UP. I was simply stating that it's technically 50 seconds and not 51. This is not trying to call out an incorrect timing method, simply that I find it funny that numbers counting down typically messes up our sense of time.

Hopefully when the meta develops it is more kind to Melee players instead of Sm4sh's Brawl-esc similarities.
It looks good when they're comboing people that aren't good. In reality the game usually goes a lot more slowly.
