Don’t want to uhmmm actually but the “Nintendo switch systems” has been used by TPC in the past to just refer to the switch and it’s iterations. Nintendo is in an awkward spot with a lot of their franchises. Super Mario Odyssey is now older than 3D world was when odyssey came out. Splatoon 3’s release date makes a new entry on a new console early on look bad but splatoon 2’s success was largely because of early adoption. And of course, it’s looking more and more like Metroid prime 4 is becoming to the switch what BOTW was to the Wii U.
It will be both Physically and Digital Nintendo wants people to play there Switch 1 games work well on Switch 2 like a DS to 3DS transition. Edit:This is only a prdiction I don't know if it will be like this.

Agree with almost everything, disagree with just a couple: - Mario Party as system seller. Very dubious. This is the same mistake as we’ve seen TV rights holders make, assuming that a show that gets streamed a lot could also drive subscriptions to their own service. Mario Party is the equivalent of a popular reality show that does big numbers. If people have the system they’ll buy it, but they won’t buy the system FOR it. - Metroid NOT a system seller. It is. You’re right in that it wouldn’t drive numbers like a new Zelda or Mario, but the brand is the most popular it’s ever been, and the love among its target audience is so strong that it would absolutely drive early adoption among the more “hardcore” crowd that Nintendo definitely wants to retain.
I think switch games will be backwards compatible as rereleasing I think will be way too insulting for consumers, while GameCube on switch online I think is unlikely as they' make more money doing rereleases and remakes for those games
They're going to do the same as they did for the Switch and methodically release a lot of good games within its first year. They'll have a heavy hitter during launch and then stagger new big releases every few months. Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, ARMS and Super Mario Odyssey all released within the first 8 months of the Switch's life up to Christmas and was pretty instrumental in driving its success. Releasing everything all on launch day would just be a bad idea
My guesses are new mario kart, new ip (kinda like arms or splatoon), the obligatory tech demo game (like wii sports and 1-2 switch), something from intelligent systems, maybe a new 3d mario game and maybe a remaster of a popular game like windwaker and twilight princess -The zelda team just launched totk -The 2d mario team just launched mario wonder -the animal crossing/splatoon team is currently making the final updates to splatoon 3 so I doubt they would release anything within the first year of the "switch 2" -metroid isnt a heavy hitter for nintendo so unless the game is completely finished i doubt they would rushed it out for the first year of the console -smash since brawl is always a mid gen game so unless they have been working on it since sora release i doubt its releasing anytime soon -next level games is going to remaster luigis mansion 2 this year so idk if they are going to release something in 2025
I think you are on the nose with the intelligent systems prediction. There's rumors of a fire emblem remake and I think it's going to be either Geneology of the holy war or path of radiance.
@@Ijustwastedyourtime0 Tough call between those two options. I've never played Geneology of the Holy War, but Path of Radiance is among my top 10 favorite games of all time.
Late, but: I'm going with 6 first party launch titles: New 3D Mario Platformer (Nintendo) Pokemon Legends Z-A (GameFreak) New Animal Crossing (Nintendo) Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons Remake (Grezzo) Golden Sun 4 (Camelot) Metroid Prime 4 (Retro) (It'll have been six years since the restart. It just...feels right, because of that.)
Animal crossing sold an amazing amount of switches to people who wouldn't normally have bought a console. I'm sure the global events of the time influenced that quite a bit though
I have it on good authority that the Switch 2 will launch with: _Super Monkey Ball: Escape From Kowloon_ _Gex 4_ _Knack 358/2 Days_ _Mother 3_ but it's just a remaster of _Mother_ _Tak 2: The Power of Juju_ _Tom Clancy's Baseball_ _Video Game 2_ Trust me, my dad works as a foot sucker at Nintendo.
5:10 I believe Nintendo were pretty open about the fact they were releasing all these old courses as remastered DLC bundles in MK8, because MK9 is currently in development. Presumably they want to focus on new courses and dumped as many classic courses into 8DX as possible so people wouldn't beg for them in 9.
I really wish they would just do like xboxs backwards compatible games, and let you purchase the older games either instead of or in addition to their subscription
I dunno, maybe Metroid prime 2 remake (or prime 4?), new 3d Mario, and like a multiplayer game, maybe smash? (It’s been 6 years since launch and the dlc finished like 3 or 4 years ago)
I feel like GameCube on nso isn't going to happen not just because of storage issues but because they know they can just sell them individually. Like they're not going to just give you Luigi's mansion it's totally going to get remastered for $60 during the build up to Luigi's mansion 4. It's not just Nintendo though everyone has kinda reached that conclusion. Namco has games on nso but those PS2 era klonoa and katamari games got $50 retail released remasters. Final fantasy 10 and 12 got real remasters but 1-6 are in a bundle ect.
I don’t know where you heard it was about the line up. Nintendo themselves said it was due to production and wanting to combat scalping/give enough inventory to not cause a shortage.
Yeah a lot of people think that Metroid Prime 4 will be a launch title, but I don't see that happening. Metroid has never been, a likely never will be a system seller. Everyone knows who Mario is, only dedicated fans knows who Samus is. With that in mind making MP4 a launch title would only hurt the initial sales of the Switch 2 which are some of the most important sales for a console to get it off the ground. Still I have little doubt that Metroid Prime 4 will be the most successful Nintendo game ever made, but the Switch 2 needs to be a success for that prediction to happen.
My predictions: - 3D Mario - Mario Kart 9 - Mario Blitz (A new spinoff Mario series where Mario and friends kick off to play american football) - Splatoon 4 - Metroid Prime 4 - TLOZ Majora's Mask remake - Pokemon Legends Z-A - Random launch title game where it introduces you to the Switch 2's gimmicks much like 1-2 Switch
The issue with gamecube and wii games is not their file size, the issue is nintendo would rather charge you 40,60 or maybe soon 70$ for a remaster. Paper mario ttyd, prime remake, skyward sword. Giving access to all gamecube and/or wii games is too good of a deal otherwise
Personally think that a new 3d Mario and a new animal crossing are going to be the new big first party and that Nintendo is going to fill the lineup with backwards compatibility like with TOTK and other games but also re release them for those that didn’t buy them on the switch or it’s their first Nintendo console and also maybe a new IP in the following months or right on release
I could see a new 3D Mario game being a launch title on the Switch 2, or at least something like a bundle of Odyssey-Wonder with an announcement/teaser of a new 3D Mario game for the 2025 holiday season. Big launch title would probably be MK9. Probably lots of teasers for games coming out later in the holiday season with 3rd party support and indies driving it forward. Maybe a curveball of a new Kirby game or Black/White remakes or, hell, a new Paper Mario in the style of 64/TTYD depending on if the remaster sells well. I can totally see them teasing an F-Zero game of some kind in whatever Direct they announce the Switch 2 in though.
MY IDEAL LAUNCH TITLES: - 3D Open World Mario Game: You play as Mario and you don’t have powerups but instead things like the Cat Suit are armor/outfits that you wear! Yoshis are a companion but they are not always with you and you must tame them and such! There is two player online or splitscreen where the second player is Luigi! Or, they take a separate approach where Yoshi is always with you like Cappy and in two player the second player is Yoshi(which would be a lot more fun than Cappy or the frickin Luma because it’s a trade off not just worse than Mario, you get flutter jump and special ability of your Yoshi type but no abilities)! Game is $70 for ‘Super’ Nintendo Switch! - Metroid Prime 4: Pretty self explanatory on what this game is! They promised this game for the regular Switch so here’s my idea of the pricing. They charge $70 for the game just like Tears of the Kingdom but when you buy it you are actually paying for the Switch and Super Switch edition! It’s free data transfer to the next gen edition and it’s really cool as if you cannot afford the next gen console you can purchase the game without being punished and that way you still have a next generation game to play while you save up for the future console! - Tears of the Kingdom Nex Gen Edition: So just as Metroid Prime 4! Both games are available for $70 for Switch and they include the next generation edition for free! This would be a great motivation for the console as if you already own Tears of the Kingdom you can go pickup the next console and you already have a game with next gen graphics! Notice that the physical edition is just for the standard switch and it’s just an extra download on top of the basis for the Super Switch edition with the normal edition in your console! - Super Nintendo Switch Sports: A lot changes from the last game in the series! First off, is that this actually comes pre-installed on every system! Getting a free game would be so nice of Nintendo(they would never do this anymore I feel like)! The game would bring back the Miis all together! There would be 10 total sports! There is a cool hub area that is just pitch white. Here, you can walk around and talk to a bunch of different coaches and some other people! This would be a great way to really immerse people into the world! Wanna play with friends, you can invite them to your hub area! The place is super simple just the simple nothingness with the interactable characters within! This makes it so that you can actually change the color of the place to not be white and you would have to unlock the colors! You could also purchase and unlock cosmetics for your Miis and because this would be the only game about Miis, these cosmetics can actually be kept and used for your Miis in Mii Maker! I was thinking Mii Maker should become its own app and not be limited to the settings but I changed my mind as the Mii Maker would be accessible from Super Switch Sports! But it would be super dope to talk to all the trainers and rise up the ranks! And the progression would be cool too! Imagine random events such as a dog appearing and you can approach it because it doesn’t appear very often and when you pay it a visit you can play frisbee with it! Making this whole system where you can walk around seems like a lot of effort compared to a menu but it’s for good reason! About a year after release Super Switch Sports: Resort would release! Here, it makes it so that when you start up you can either start in the Hub like normal or instead start in Wuhu Island! This would be so cool and now instead of roaming in this compact glorified menu you actually have tons to do! It would add like an extra 10 sports plus just all the missions of the island! All of the trainers of the normal Hub are thrown in the mix here and so the normal hub doesn’t become obsolete as if you just want to play a couple quick matches with your friends you can choose to play in the hub and then all of the different Minigames are available all together including the new mini-games which would get added to the hub! It would be great to be able to invite friends online(or locally) to your Wuhu Island too! Build your own islands through making homes or vehicles, it would be really cool that everyone’s worlds are different! Resort is not a seperate game but instead is a DLC! Now, it would go up for $70 like a game and people would think this is ridiculous but really it is a whole game yk! And it gets advertised for free because people see it every time they open up the game that was preinstalled on their console! Also, resort would give an excuse for there to be a physical edition of the game! Something cool would be that you can invite people who haven’t payed for Resort to play on your world! This is cool as it means your friends can get a demo of it and it’s more advertising for them to want to buy it themselves as then they can customize their own worlds! And this could even justify the pricetag as one person pays and we can have 4 friends always play together on it! And, they also could just charge for the in-game currency and let people buy it if they are too lazy to grind which can make Nintendo more money without punishing the casual players! This would make for such a crazy lineup! I think what also would do good is some regular Switch games that would just look even better because of the AI chips when they come over to the Super Switch! Like if on release we also got Windwaker+Twilifht Princess HD for Nintendo Switch for $60($40 for each game alone) and like DKC Returns+Tropical Freeze as a bundle still for just $60(essentially $120 value and each is discounted to $40 alone), and if 2 weeks following release we got like Metroid Prime 2+3 Remastered, get all of the three individually for $40 each, or get all three for $100 and save $20! I could also see another game like Pokémon Snap to work great but for me this would be perfect!
If Nintendo is going to do a graphical power leap, i would expect them to cheap out on gb storage. Theyll have an sd card slot, but itll be the same situation with switch
I don't think it'll be there on launch day but I think a xenoblade x or xenosaga remaster will appear within the first few months of the switch 2's lifespan. Could be cope though.
The best business move for Nintendo at this stage would be to work on another pandemic and plan release around the new console release. This is a joke. Please corporations don't do this. Please?
3D Mario, New IP, Elden Ring port, MH Wilds, Mario Kart X, Ultimate Deluxe, Pokemon Legends Za and GTA 6 all releasing within a Launch year window. That's my dream lineup for 2025. highly unlikely but nintendo have apparently been chasing rockstar forever,
I'm pretty certain the new console will have the next 3D Mario, Mario Kart 9, and Metroid Prime 4 within it's first 6 months or so, but I think 3D Mario is the best candidate for a launch title. Purely as a showcase game and something people would be interested in, Metroid Prime 4 would make practical sense as a pick for launch, but the biggest problem for me is that it's really hard for me to imagine Nintendo launching a new console is a T-rated FPS as the marquee title. At the very least I could only imagine it paired with something like Mario Kart. That being said, considering there's now Pokemon Legends Z-A announced for 2023 conspicuously without gameplay (definitely leaving the door open for it being a crossgen launch title), I could actually imagine Nintendo going for a unique approach with the console and trying to give it a solid library from square one by releasing a bunch of big games all at launch.
For new ips they should take a look at making an anti gravity racing game with an emphasis on speed and agility, one where you can customize the basic stats of your vehicle to suit your playstyle. And maybe they should use a smash character as the mascot for this game. Oh i just saw that you mentioned f zero, whoops
Gamecube games require analog triggers, which is what makes it heavily unlikely we’ll get them. If the new console controllers have analog triggers, that also breaks support for the original switch pro controllers on newer games
The next Animal Crossing will be released on both Switch and Switch 2. Switch 2 version will show off graphics features like raytracing and maybe get some UI changes if it runs at a higher resolution. As a non-boring prediction: Peach and Daisy will form a Princess besties duo and venture into Warioland for some single player and 2-player co-op minigames.
Looking farther ahead, does anybody think that Nintendo will allow a release of GTA Vl? Not releasing GTA V was a missed opportunity (the switch can run it, at least the 7th gen version. If you don’t believe it, please look up what Rockstar game was released on the switch last year). I would be very surprised if nintendo nintendo finally got over its aversion to more adult games and embraced it as some kind of system seller, as that would make the switch a very attractive proposition to many. That said, a GTA Vl release on switch would be conditional on the console’s hardware, which I hope is on par with the M1 ipad at the very least. I don’t think Nintendo can skimp on hardware this generation, as there are many strong competitors right now like the apple M chips. If apple becomes more game friendly these next few years, and they can with the M chips powering all of their portable hardware, they will eat some of nintendo’s market share if nintendo doesn’t have a compelling proposition. Nintendo might survive that, but it would feel like whatever nintendo did was a missed opportunity or a streak of bad mistakes.
They only got RAGE working on the Switch last year with RDR port. GTA 4 port coming this year. GTA V might happen next year and Switch 2 may get GTA 6 in 2026
Sadly they proved with the last mainstream Animal Crossing they don’t take it seriously and won’t support it long term. You see this in Splatoon as well which is developed every few years with extremely minor upgrades. Nintendo doesn’t do long term game support for most titles. So it is hard to care about the when compared to past games they are lackluster. As for Metroid Prime… well Sakamoto is involved. The man responsible for Other M, the Zero Suit, the added high heels. Gunpei was Metroids father not Sakamoto. He’s a sexist dick riding the luck of the real creator dying tragically so he could credit himself with it all.
I’m sorry but Mario kart 9 is 100% gonna happen next year. The only games that the MK team has made is since MK8DX is arms (a smaller game, also has a while to make because there was also a gap between MK8 and Arms) and Mario kart tour. The mobile game. I guess the DLC counts, but that was clearly developed by a small team. Also, MK is a system seller my guy. ALSO there already is a “mk8dx definitive edition” because there are PHYSICAL copies that include the DLC with a bit of an extra price.
In order to get a gimmick game there would need to be a new gimmick for the system to use, wii sports used motion controls, nintendo world was the game pad and 1 2 switch was the joycons. For switch 2 they would have to have something new to use, but I have no idea what that may be honestly. So if they dont end up having a new gimmick about their new system and it just ends up being a more powerful switch then I dont think we are going to get a new gimmick game.
I’d bet some sort of Xbox Kinect-like gimmick for it would be possible if it’s a New Nintendo Switch. There could be a sensor camera built-in or something. It sounds like something they could do that would warrant some exclusive or gimmick games without it being completely different, like the games exclusive to the New 3DS due to extra controls
My prediction for switch2 launch title is: brand new 3d mario game. Just like snes. Action blockbuster brand game like mario or zelda better launch title than others. They should remember. Launch title decide the succes of the system. Remember botw alone drive switch sales to 15 mils in 2017. And odyssey drive to 20-25mills
It'd be nice for Nintendo to release a console that can reliably get more FPS than years into our current century, out of games made this century. Also less hardware failures would be nice.
5:24 What makes you say Sakurai wouldn’t come back? I think the contrary is true. He has said he can’t imagine them making another one without him, he’s quitting UA-cam soon, and the section of Bandi Namco that did Smash 4 and Ultimate was hiring recently. While I wouldn’t expect it till at least the system’s second year on the market, a new Smash seems pretty likely.
Games aside, can we also talk about hardware, and the issues around that? Switch 1 released with an outdated midrange chip. Switch 1 had no consistent uplifts, silent upgrades, nor a mid-gen refresh, just one process node shrink. Switch 1 has had its console cycle milked to the point that the hardware is becoming unusable, just look at how first party games need hyper-optimization, and how even that isn't sufficient enough anymore. Now we're getting to the successor, what was late this year is now early next year. Except there's a problem, what hardware is it going to use? I point this out mostly because there is no good solution, not unless that Samsung-AMD deal brings us a competent gaming chip; otherwise, it's all phone hardware. Another point to point out is that 2025 is supposedly the year we're getting a ton of competition in the space, thanks to the end of the Microsoft-Qualcomm deal, where supposedly everyone is looking to hit the low-end PC range that laptops and PC handhelds fit into. Where this is important is if you look at Apple's chips, considering they're pioneering and monopolizing the space currently, on the CPU side even a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 doesn't match the performance of a base M1, and keep in mind that we're on M3 now which averages something like 150% compared to the SD8 G3, then on the GPU side from what comparable data you can find the base M3's GPU outperforms the Adreno 750 (Qualcomm's GPU in the SD8 G3) by a significant amount, in fact the base M3's GPU closes the gap if not surpases (in some benchmarks) AMD's 780m, and we all know that Apple silicon is absolutely not the highest end of what's feasible. It's pretty clear the coming ARM boom for PC-grade chips, which supposedly everyone on both sides of the line are getting in on, is going to bring some very powerful chips based off of what Apple is currently doing themselves. Yet where's Nintendo at the moment? Either a very, very early adopter of one of these chips, an adopter of a currently unannounced package (such as the Samsung-AMD chip but with a much better GPU), or they're doing a console cycle too early and are going to have all of the Switch 1 hardware issues all over again. Also for sake of comparison, the Samsung Xclipse 920, the AMD side of the deal, is quite a far ways behind even the Adreno 750, there's consistently something like 150%+ in the performance uplift the Adreno has. Mobile hardware is just not where it's at for a gaming handheld, even the best of it is significantly behind the only 'ARM PC' hardware, and we're entering the cusp of when true ARM PC hardware is going to flourish, and Nintendo is going to miss that and be entirely non-competitive within the gaming space. Nintendo shot themselves in the foot, continued to shoot themselves in the same foot, and are now going to be dumping a clip into their feet. The head of Nintendo's hardware division should be gutted before bad hardware choices seppukus the company. Because another cycle of bad hardware is going to be like another Wii U cycle, except this time instead of people not knowing about the console they'll instead know that the new one has bad hardware. It's not a sustainable model. There also is no silver lining, Nintendo isn't going to do a short console cycle, Nintendo isn't going to invest into the idea of an eGPU dock, Nintendo isn't going to later introduce a home-only variant, and the potential hardware gap would warrant a new console cycle. From the outside looking in, Nintendo hardware has to be on its way out if they make the same mistakes again, and it's looking like they're going to be making the same mistakes again unless there's some miracle during the next-gen hardware announcement. And with how Nintendo is actively attacking emulators themselves now, even when people are using them to get any amount of performance in games, it comes off as Nintendo being so out of touch that they _will_ make the same hardware mistakes again. The only true way forward under these kinds of decisions is going as a handheld-only company. The whole ARM gaming situation is also in a bit of an odd spot. Remember those Xbox leaks and the timeline point that was the decision on adopting ARM? Yeah, even with Nintendo's most direct competition, they'll be left in the dust, not that there would've been competition in the first place considering other factors. Nintendo might as well become a phone company by this point. I also wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo's poor choices and poor mentality when it comes to hardware bleeds into other aspects as well. Larger storage? We might see a bump, but nothing substantial. Backwards compatibility? Maybe, but ti'll probably be another GBA on DS situation. Etc. As far as launch software goes, Pokemon Legends is such a bizarre choice, going with a spinoff canon might leave a bad taste, honestly I think 3D Metroid, F-Zero, and Mario have to be the big three, maybe Kirby or Animal Crossing slots in there somewhere, but given that we just got Pokemon Gen9 barely a year ago, we just got the last major Zelda not even a year ago, and Splat 3 is still going strong, Switch's successor for 2025 currently isn't stacked for the first few years, and again this has to do with their dogshit hardware decisions. Either an unforseen miracle happens, or the next console is going to be rough, again. Nintendo just has a history of bad decisions.
0:27 i would rather guess that your choice for sources on nintendo internal data is a drunken private sleep journalist that its blantly liaing about everything as he goes along.
I wonder if the backward compatibility is why Nintendo just filled a lawsuit against the Switch emulator Yuzu. Are they afraid it will affect sales of the new system? Just being a-holes? 🤷♂️🤔

Holy shit babe, new Whimsu video dropped
Late, but:
I'm going with 6 first party launch titles:
New 3D Mario Platformer (Nintendo)
Pokemon Legends Z-A (GameFreak)
New Animal Crossing (Nintendo)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons Remake (Grezzo)
Golden Sun 4 (Camelot)
Metroid Prime 4 (Retro) (It'll have been six years since the restart. It just...feels right, because of that.)
Animal Crossing MMO would blow people's mind. Including mine.
Animal crossing sold an amazing amount of switches to people who wouldn't normally have bought a console. I'm sure the global events of the time influenced that quite a bit though
Zelda: am I a joke to you?
I have it on good authority that the Switch 2 will launch with:
_Super Monkey Ball: Escape From Kowloon_
_Gex 4_
_Knack 358/2 Days_
_Mother 3_ but it's just a remaster of _Mother_
_Tak 2: The Power of Juju_
_Tom Clancy's Baseball_
_Video Game 2_
Trust me, my dad works as a foot sucker at Nintendo.
Pokemon Legends Z-A could be a launch title.
Incoming: NINTENDO SWITCH U
Please, please god not another rerelease of MK8. It first came out A DECADE AGO. I just want a new mario kart :(.
I really wish they would just do like xboxs backwards compatible games, and let you purchase the older games either instead of or in addition to their subscription
So it’s going to launch next year
I dunno, maybe Metroid prime 2 remake (or prime 4?), new 3d Mario, and like a multiplayer game, maybe smash?
Mario Kart 8 again? Game is about to turn 10 in two months
I would hope the Switch 2 isn't just full of ports of Switch games but knowing Nintendo, it probably will be.
My predictions:
- 3D Mario
- Mario Kart 9
- Mario Blitz (A new spinoff Mario series where Mario and friends kick off to play american football)
- Splatoon 4
- Metroid Prime 4
- TLOZ Majora's Mask remake
- Pokemon Legends Z-A
- Random launch title game where it introduces you to the Switch 2's gimmicks much like 1-2 Switch
They could just do holiday 2025
The issue with gamecube and wii games is not their file size, the issue is nintendo would rather charge you 40,60 or maybe soon 70$ for a remaster. Paper mario ttyd, prime remake, skyward sword. Giving access to all gamecube and/or wii games is too good of a deal otherwise
Loved the early release lol
007 would be a game changer🔥🔥
Hey Tyler! Who does the music in your videos? It's low key awesome
MY IDEAL LAUNCH TITLES:
- 3D Open World Mario Game: You play as Mario and you don’t have powerups but instead things like the Cat Suit are armor/outfits that you wear!
6:53 for its genre arms did sell pretty alright
Arms 2 plz
idc if im the only one who wants it, I REALLY WANT IT
It’s been 4 years since Animal Crossing New Horizons released, not 5
I don't think it'll be there on launch day but I think a xenoblade x or xenosaga remaster will appear within the first few months of the switch 2's lifespan. Could be cope though.
Just on DS though, you can always have it landscape, they're 2x4:3 screens
The best business move for Nintendo at this stage would be to work on another pandemic and plan release around the new console release.
This is a joke. Please corporations don't do this. Please?
One two switch would have been iconic if it was a pack-in title
If the Switch 2 doesn't let us play Gamecube games then it would be like if the Wii didn't let us play NES games.
Maybe they will beat the ps2 & DS in sales with this delay, very close already
Hardware for the next console is on the way
Great video
But will it have Battletoads?
another future proof prediction from our guy
100%:
- new Mario Kart
- new Animal Crossing
- new Smash
Highly possible:
- new Donkey Kong
- Tales of game
The super switch would be an awesome name
Don't worry they'll just keep delaying the switch successor until everyone old enough to have played the original Switch is dead.
Metroid prime & mario fpr launch.
New mario kart summer/autumn
Animal crossing fpr xmas
3D Mario, New IP, Elden Ring port, MH Wilds, Mario Kart X, Ultimate Deluxe, Pokemon Legends Za and GTA 6 all releasing within a Launch year window. That's my dream lineup for 2025. highly unlikely but nintendo have apparently been chasing rockstar forever,
i just want a mario party that remasters 1-8 in one disc
I don't think the switch 2 could release in 2025 because of legends z-a
I would assume that legends Z - a could be a launchtitle
wake up babe, whimsu uploaded a new vid .
Yeah, they should make mario cart 8 deluxe 2: the deluxening
There were DS games on the Wii U so it is not entirely impossible we could see DS games on the switch 2.
I wonder what 3rd party line-up games will launch as well?
We're gonna get 1 2 3 Switch this time!
Can you imagine if they name this thing “Switch U”
that robot is gonna rust out in the pool, been there a while now, just sayin
I’m sorry but Mario kart 9 is 100% gonna happen next year. The only games that the MK team has made is since MK8DX is arms (a smaller game, also has a while to make because there was also a gap between MK8 and Arms) and Mario kart tour. The mobile game. I guess the DLC counts, but that was clearly developed by a small team. Also, MK is a system seller my guy. ALSO there already is a “mk8dx definitive edition” because there are PHYSICAL copies that include the DLC with a bit of an extra price.
Sounds like they want the pokemon as a launch title
I can't help but feel that Nintendo is winding us up for a big disappointment.
Same
In order to get a gimmick game there would need to be a new gimmick for the system to use, wii sports used motion controls, nintendo world was the game pad and 1 2 switch was the joycons.
It sounds like something they could do that would warrant some exclusive or gimmick games without it being completely different, like the games exclusive to the New 3DS due to extra controls
jesus Nintendo just releases the same games over and over dont they
free members only vid thank u for the gift whimsiu
My prediction for switch2 launch title is: brand new 3d mario game. Just like snes. Action blockbuster brand game like mario or zelda better launch title than others. They should remember. Launch title decide the succes of the system. Remember botw alone drive switch sales to 15 mils in 2017. And odyssey drive to 20-25mills
Why did you drown the robot
Wouldn’t it have to be a mid release so they don’t detract from winter switch sales?
It'd be nice for Nintendo to release a console that can reliably get more FPS than years into our current century, out of games made this century.
Also less hardware failures would be nice.
5:24 What makes you say Sakurai wouldn’t come back? I think the contrary is true. He has said he can’t imagine them making another one without him, he’s quitting UA-cam soon, and the section of Bandi Namco that did Smash 4 and Ultimate was hiring recently. While I wouldn’t expect it till at least the system’s second year on the market, a new Smash seems pretty likely.
i completely missed the pokemon legends south africa news. could be good if it's anything like legends arceus
guarantee the switch 2 will release with pokemon legends Z-A now
3:18 idk man gtav sold 11 million first day 16 million first week, im sure before it got ported to ps4 it had to have hit 44 million
Bring back the opening ols
I would love a legend of Zelda cart or at least more legend of Zelda trank on the next mario kart game
Kn …. KnowledgeHusk?
0:27 i would rather guess that your choice for sources on nintendo internal data is a drunken private sleep journalist that its blantly liaing about everything as he goes along.
I wonder if the backward compatibility is why Nintendo just filled a lawsuit against the Switch emulator Yuzu. Are they afraid it will affect sales of the new system? Just being a-holes? 🤷♂️🤔
They filled a lawsuit becouse Yuza was breaking the law. Disturbing roms and developing tools to bypass nintedos copyright is illegal.
I really hope they won't re release Mario kart 8 again, it's time for Mario kart 9 on a new system
