Very helpful video, thx for that! First "sight in" video that really shows how to do it, most other videos are like: "Oh, the first arrow is right on target, and the second also... great, that's how to do it.." One question, for a 60lbs beginner compound bow (EK Archery Rex), where should the sight housing in the beginning be? High, Low, Center? The bow came with a 3 pin sight which is pure garbage, so I bought a full metal 5 pin sight. I am going to shoot at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 meters. Just want to make sure I begin with the "right" position of the housing. Thank you and greetings from (formerly) good old germany.
you can adjust the housing to move both your pins for height and windage,. if you sight in your 20 yd pin [top one] height and windage correctly all other pins should be fine for windage and you should need to only individually move the remaining pins heights because as you move back at your longer shots your arrows will drop. I would personally sight in for 20 30 40 50 and scrap any other pins. this will give you more room to adjust your pins and give you a better sight picture.
Chase the arrow, thanks for the tip and easy reminder!
Great tutorial, thank you.
Budget bows are fantastic. I've bought 4 Diamond Infinite Edges for me and my friends. Keep up the good work and you've got a great archery setup.
Yea they rock just about any bow from Diamond, Bear or PSE you can count on to work great!
Thanks for proving that low cost doesn't mean its junk.
Same as sighting in a rifle, adjust sight/scope to the Point Of Impact - simple.
Can’t wait for the Alaska hunting and fishing videos!
Heck yea, I’m stoked too!

What makes you determine whether to move the housing or the pins?
