Going to try to learn how to do it on my own because again I’ve had issues with bringing my Bowen to so-called pro shops here in Ontario. Everyone knows what to do but they don’t.
I’m a little confused. You had a nock left tear, so you moved the cams towards the left. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought you would move the cam in the opposite direction of the nock tear to bring the tail of the arrow in alignment to the point?
Great informative video on a diagnosis of a bow tune. I just started, and have no business watching this, let alone thinking I know what I'm doing. But I damn sure can sound like I know a thing or two now 😂
What did you do to get the draw stops to hit at the same time when 1/2 twist on either cable was to much? Roll a twist into the yoke loop or what? Thanks
Yes, depending on their grind, torque etc. that being said when the bow is tuned very well it helps us find other errors like the archer’s form etc. their GRIP or them shooting isn’t the tune it’s their form and shooting abilities.
I had my phase 4 strings replaced a few months ago with a well known establishment. I’m very surprised that the items you pointed out were the same on mine. Thanks for your awesome video and demeanor. By the way where did you find your Folding stubby Allen Set. If you sell them I’ll order one from you.
Excellent video. On top hat tuning, I watched a video by MFJJ (Podium Archery) where he uses a laser to compare cam alignment for top hat tuning. Could you do a video on that? Thanks
Enjoyed this video. I know how to measure my draw length but how do you check the actual draw length of your bow? And how do you adjust it? Mathews uses mods but are a bit off. Can you do a video on that please?
Thank you for this very complete explanation and sequence to tune a compound bow! I bought my left Bowtech SS34 in Belgium from a professional bow shop! But everything was mounted incorrectly. The Axcel Landslyde Plus Carbon Pro AVX-31Hunting & 3D Sight had no adjustment options anymore, because it was mounted completely wrong. Fortunately, Chris Bee had reviewed this visor and pointed out this misfit so I could fix it myself. They charge 100 Euro to paper tune the bow, but I don't trust them anymore! I'm going to try this myself, too bad I don't have a bow press.
I don't think I have ever seen a single side stabilizer. I've always seen either a front alone, or a front with two 45 degree side stabilizers. Can someone bring me up to speed on this please?
What would be a ballpark average price for this type of service? What should i expect to pay at my local shop?
Brings back old memories....Nicely done Sir!!
Very professional great job I’m from Ontario Canada and we don’t even have anyone that can compare to you guys

Great video. Should do more of these tuning or repair bows you get sent in.
Best Archery Shop in West Texas!
Dude, this is exactly what I needed.
Great video, very professional, to the point.
Top video. I'm looking at getting into archery and this gives me an idea of what is involved. Brill
That was really helpful, thank you
Excellent video! So, if you change one set of top hats, do you automatically change the other set? I believe you only showed changing one set.
Nicely done sir!

I have the same question.
Where do I send my bow to get it tuned up?
All of my local shops are not great.
Do you swap top hats on top and bottom or just the top? If so is it always the top or can it be either or
Wouldn’t the tear be different with the owner shooting it through paper ?

Not if his grip is right.
great video. Thanks
Can you make another video how to mount and adjust a Hamskea Arrow Rest Compound Hybrid Hunter Pro MicroTune?
thanks in advance

Thank you. We do sell them
But it’s not letting me post the link. Under accessories on Korbin’s archery.con
Would like to know what release you are using. Not a big fan of the velcro wrist release 7:38
Nock on backstrap
This is the spot Hogg wise guy. Holler at us and we can ship you one.

I’ve got a video on my full tune of the lift where I run a laser. Similar concept but more efficient for tuning
Great tutorial, thanks for explaining the top hat. 🤙🤙
What release you running? I like the tensioning system
Outstanding video

It would be cool to see how much each combination of tophat spacing affects the tune/paper tear.
very nice, thank you

What can I do with the bottom cam lean?
Because the cam is rubbing against the left side yoke cable when I draw my bow. V3 27.
show more detail thanks, keep them coming.
What is the back stop material???
What if the axel to axel is 33” on the mods side of the bow but 33 1/16” on the other side? Yoke tune?
I noticed your release aid your using. What brand type is it, please
Looks like knock on backstrap
looks like a spot hogg release
You have to resight in the bow after tuning correct?
Unless you re-sight it with every step. That is correct
What brand draw board is that?

Sight?
