Old slides from a snowmobile make good runners, I use a bungee cord cargo net (tractor supply) to hold my stuff in, and the eye bolt in stern is a genius idea!
You mean the hifax sliders from the rear suspension of a snowmobile?....I never thought of using them... but sound like a genius idea

@@natehastings7215 haha..I don't think I know your ex wife... but I do know the snow mobile hifax sliders are cheap and would be easy to screw to a jet sled

I also placed a 1x8 pine across the front. cut a cup holder in it. yeti fits perfect, also holds the transducer firmly while I check depth etc.

You gotta try the 5hp on the sled come spring.
Order a second and put it on hinges. Then add some generic weather stripping and put in some eyelets and a cargo net.
It would work awesome for beach outings, as well.

I made a frame out of 1 inch pvc pipe. It allows me carry my rods, tackle and electronics in the sled and my tent, auger and lawn chair up top. Still fits in the back of my station wagon.
Any ideas for a auger mount/holder? I have a few ideas using a ATV gun rack system.
ICE? SNOW? whats that stuff? LOl.....enjoy the fun! BTW: shout out to Everette Lures.....the spinners are freaking fantastic...love the single hook. The green spinner is killing them in Virginia waters.
A weight pullers harness vest !
And 4 HD snap rings with 2 ea 4 foot lifting straps attached to vest. Installed 2 large Eye bolts with fender washers in front and 6 smaller eye bolts with washers for tie downs and nylock nuts for all.
Leaves my hands free in case of Bear charge to draw pistol while recovering moose quarters. Thanks for your video information.

I didn’t get too crazy. These were just the basics. Anything really nice that I would do would hair get destroyed from hauling lol

How do you attach the sled to the snowmobile? I am going to buy one of those but wondering the attachment.
I use the heavy duty hitch by jetseld. They also make a lite duty one that would be fine.

I like to take the handle off a junk lawnmower to pull my sled way better than a rope plus most hands fold in half with two wing nuts
That might be too heavy and not long enough if your pulling by hand. Good idea if you have a machine to pull though 👍
Cant use a pelican as a boat. Too narrow. Almost got a jet but the wider sled is harder to pull.
put ur bucket in a milk crate. wont tip over
