I haven't tested the Tanatoru, but the Grappler does seem to be very good from what i have seen.

I bought one but am suspicious if it is fake. Are the strands fused together (like mx4) or separated?

Its impossible to know for sure without trying to pick each fiber apart individually, but the MX4 is stated as having "heat cross" which is like a film thats shrunk around the line to form a coating. In comparison, they state that the Grappler has "Heat Sink", but don't say much about it. It may be the same coating, but who knows. Either way, it sounds like neither of the lines are fused together, they are just coated.

Thank you. Yes the mx4 is like 1 strand "fused". The grappler i bought (pe6) i can easly separate The fibers by "compressing" The line.

I Just realizei i have a kairiki 8 with vt and i can separate the strands in the same maner. Só the vt and mx4 coating are diferent. The mx4 is a stiff line.
