  • Welcome to the ultimate Boeing 737 spotting tutorial! In this 3-minute video, we dive into the fascinating world of aviation to help you quickly and easily distinguish between the Boeing 737 MAX and Boeing 737 NG. Filmed with Ryanair aircraft as our canvas, we'll focus on key visual cues such as winglets and engine nacelles. Whether you're a seasoned plane-spotter or just someone who loves flying, this tutorial is packed with insider tips to elevate your aviation knowledge. Get ready to decode the skies and become a pro at identifying these iconic aircraft. Hit play and let's soar through the secrets of the Boeing 737 MAX and NG!
    Visually, one noticeable difference is the shape of the engine nacelles. The Boeing 737 MAX has larger and more upward-curving nacelles compared to the Boeing 737 NG. Additionally, the MAX series has distinctive winglets that are larger and have a more angular shape than those on the NG. Keep in mind that these differences might be subtle, so it's advisable to look for a combination of these features when trying to differentiate between the two.
    Ryanair is an Irish low-cost airline and one of the largest budget carriers in Europe. Ryanair has an extensive route network that spans across Europe and some parts of North Africa. The airline's point-to-point model often involves flying to secondary airports to reduce costs.
    Ryanair's fleet primarily consists of Boeing 737 NG and 737 MAX aircraft. The mainstay of their fleet is the Boeing 737-800 model. Michael O'Leary has been a prominent figure associated with Ryanair. He has served as the CEO of the airline and is known for his outspoken and sometimes controversial statements.

    I love winglets and the chevron on the engines. I used to mess around with my paper planes wings. I would fold the edges up and then cut them to put half down and then tilt them. Now they really exist and work. Better than my paper plane.No fake engine sounds from me either.

    The APU housing is the biggest difference. There are many variations of winglets across the types.

    APU sticks out further behind the tail on a MAX, like the airbus

      A Boeing 737 Max flight attendant walks into a bar and orders a martini
      . "You're here later than usual," the bartender comments. "Problems at work?" "Yes, just as our flight was about to take off we had to turn around and wait at the gate for an hour." "What was the problem?" the bartender asks. "The pilot was bothered by a noise in the engine," she replies. "It took us a while to find a new pilot 😂

    Superb capture and great explanation of B 737 flights & which low commercial flight is best in A320 or 737 categories for longer distance and passenger seats..?

    • @topfelya
      @topfelya  3 місяці тому +1

      Both the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families are popular choices for short to medium-haul commercial flights, and they are not typically used for longer distances. However, when comparing the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families, there are variants designed for longer ranges and more passengers. It's important to note that the specific capabilities can vary among the different models within each family.The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is a member of the 737 MAX family, known for its fuel efficiency and updated technology. While it is not designed for ultra-long-haul flights, it has a longer range compared to earlier 737 models 🙂👍
