    This video was helpful. I own the exact same bike in the video. Same color, same year. I found one that was nearly brand new. It is in a preserved show room condition. I love it. I am going through basic servicing, and inspection on it.

    240p? Only reason Im letting this slide is it was filmed 11 years ago. Or more than likely filmed in 1432 and uploaded 11 years ago.
    Also, i noticed you forgot to put the CKP sensor back on the bolt. lol never mind you caught it.

    Hi I own a 2012 GSR 750 Suzuki note not a GSXR which has only done 5900 kilometers and when getting on the gas hard the clutch starts to slip badly, this comes as a surprise as I have ridden thousands of hard ks on larger bikes like 05 ZZR 12, 05 1200 bandit, 007 FJR 13 and have never had an issue with slipping clutch. Any help would be great
    Cheers

    I have a 07 gsxr600 and when i pull my clutch in it slips and i barely got it home. It was ok at cold start but as the bike warmed up the clutch did nothing until I was just reving but not going anywhere does that mean my clutch gears "lining" are torn up and need to buy a clutch rebuild kit to fix? Great Video pikey

    You mentioned that they have a certain stack height. How important is it to get the right stack height? Do new clutch kits come with all the right parts to get the right stack height?
    Thanks!

    i have a 2007 k7 1000. my problem if you can help is that it feels like my clutch is slipping but its not doing it all the time. do you think i need to replace the fibers and the steel plates or just one of them? the crazy thing is that i took my bike to the shop about 3500 miles ago and they put the clutch in, but i think they only put in new fibers and gave the steel's an acid bath.

    So the Brock's clutch kit mod helps prevent bogging ? Is that what u mean by bucking or as in the bike lifting

    Hey I have a k9 GSXR 1000. My clutch be slipping while I race because I’ll be dragging it hard. If I replace the clutch would it help it stop slipping. First it did it in 1st and 2nd gear. Now it’s slipping in all my gears when I try taking off fast.

    I HAVE 2013 GSXR 1000. Do not like slipper clutch, bike stock. Can I just pull (get rid of) the three slipper clutch adjuster bolts?

    Thanks for the great video! I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I'm having with my 05 gsxr1000 track bike. I discovered it had only one cam reaction wave washer in so i put in one more, but it still engages the slipper clutch with the slightest release of the clutch at a stop. I'm planning on adding the 3rd wave washer and hope it fixes it. If I don't want any slipper clutch engagement can I leave out the adjustment pins like you did? The tighter those pins are screwed IN the more it will engage on decel, right? Thanks!
    Ps. Great response to that shmuck Paul Fisher.

      Did yo fix it ? Please let me know . I went to brocks page clutch mod section , and download pdf instructions for gsxr 1000 2005 you supose to have only one wave spring wachers and eliminate the lift nuts . Again please let me know

      +jonathan cappiello Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the note, The manual I have for my bike has 3 wave washers in the diagram. I added it, torqued the springs a bit tighter than spec and it still fucking does this weird thing when I release the clutch. It's as if the back torque limiter is engaging right away. I can get it to act right if I release the clutch super slow. It's horrible for launches though. I don't know what the hell to do. Could the back torque limiter be worn and causing this problem. I'd love to get a really nice slipper clutch but man they are really expensive. what do you think?

    • @CappielloFPV
      @CappielloFPV 8 років тому

      +Nick Kaplan i have my gixxer with original back torque limiter and remove all three clutch lifter adjusting pin screws. It feel better, but I just bought from ebay brock clutch mod .

      @@CappielloFPV hi I was thinking about doing the same thing myself to my k6. I was going to get the Brock's Performance mod. But I was thinking about just doing the same thing as you did by just removing the 3 pin things. Well as far as I can see and work out once that 3 pins are removed you no longer have a slipper clutch. I was just wondering how you found the bike after that does it, does it still do that funny thing after you pull off some time's?? Or do you think it would still be worth getting the clutch mod thing. It was just to help me from doing the 3 pin removal then having to take the clutch apart again to fit the mod, Cappiello.

    What do you use (recommend for oil ? ) I recently changed my oil, now going down the road at a steady speed 40 or 60 doesn't really matter, the bike feels sluggish like I'm dragging a fat chick behind me.

    my question is
    1- this is a long shot but will the 1000 back torque limiter fit my 600???
    2- do know anyone who sells that part for my 600??

      If its a cable clutch you can adjust the cable to the clutch lever, if its hydralic you might try bleeding the system.

    I have a Gsxr 1000 2006. I did everything you did but for some reason when I start it up and put the bike in first gear, the bike doesn't go anywhere. When I take my hand off the clutch in first gear the bike keeps running like it's in neutral and doesn't shut off like it normally would. I ran through the clutch at least 4 times and the same thing keep happening.
    Any suggestion on what it could be?

      Yeah I just took it to the shop. Had t towed to them. They fixed it.

    • @infinitycl

      +Rob Stephens yes but what was the problem? I'm sure they told you? And how much was it to fix?

    • @djrobstephens
      @djrobstephens 8 років тому

      +INFINITYCL they said that I didn't soak the plates long enough so they didn't grip. They also said that the pressure plate didn't lock it properly. Which I know it was because I did it like 4 times. It cost me 175 for them to fix it.
