I would look in to Brocks Performance clutch parts. I would definitely get some heavier clutch springs. But Brocksperformance.com is where I would start.
When you're in gear & try to release the clutch do the RPMs go up & the bike just doesn't go anywhere? If so then that would be a clutch issue. Either the clutch is slipping are it's not fully engaging.
Well I would drain your oil. Disassemble the clutxh & check all the plate thickness to see is they are past service limits & see if the steel plates are all burned up are really blued. Sounds like you need a new clutch pack replacement. Easy job & not very expensive. But o.e.m are a good known after market kit. Not one off of Amazon.
I have a 2007 gsxr 750 with 36,000 miles on it....i have a problem when i start the bike im getting a rattle like noise, but when i engage the clutch the noise stops, when i let the clutch go the noise comes back any info would be grately appreciated thanks
I'm actually finishing up a series on a 2006 gsxr750 with a transmission issues. The bike sounds good untill you release the clutch then the transmission engages & makesa back rattle & hoping sounds. It's a really good possibility that you chipped a tooth in the transmission. I would check it out the same way I did this one.
Ok so I start the bike up the bike heats up and then I hear the rattle noise after the bike is warmed up.then I engage the clutch shift in to first year and don't hear no noise anymore go for a ride shift threw 2,3,4,5 no noise....just after warm up the noise starts I hope I gave you enough information thanks alot bro
what a great series. I'm really hoping next video will be out soon.....

Do you line up all the little u cut outs?
Yes I did. The clutch drum on those year had a double spline you need to line up.
Thanks so much for the video and the reply. Keep up the good work
Hey my 05 gsxr 1000 is making that same noise,
I hate to hear that. It is a possibility you could have the same issue. But make sure you diag everything before tearing the motor down
