ghost in a shell is one of the classics and and is a very highly rated show, its not as popular but in a similar light to akira or cowboy bebop, plus it has a female lead like the new LOTR

Initial thoughts: The trailer hasn't even started and they're already milking the shit out of the original trilogy. Also, the movie is about Helm Hammerhand but the focus is on this Hera, who we've never heard of before. Having another girl-boss feels forced after watching Rings of Power, especially when the anime isn't about her from my understanding. Sorry for being cynical. The animation looks really good tho
