Hela's wardrobe is one of the more faithful translations going from comics to movie. Her stopping Mjolnir is one of the top 10 most holy $#&* moments in the MCU.
Except there's no way she would have been able to stop mjolnir. She was able to wield the hammer before because it didn't have Odin's enchantment. Although physically super strong characters like Juggernaut have been shown to swat mjolnir away, they still can't lift it. Kurse, who is probably the strongest character we've seen in the MCU, was able to swat it away. Regardless of whether or not an enchantment/spell wanes in the comics, in the MCU, death doesn't negate the enchantment, we saw that with Doctor Strange and Ebony Maw in regards to the time stone. She might have been able to bat the hammer away, but there's no way she would have been able to grab it. She MIGHT have been able to destroy it though through matter manipulation.
Your way overthinking a comic book film. She destroyed it because the writers decided she was going to be that powerful and also challenge the Thor character to win without his hammer. @@jlhanlon1980
I love how Odin was like, "You guys have an older sister. I locked her up because she's a psycho and she's probably pretty pissed about it. She's your problem now, have fun. ✌"
For those wondering why Odin died. Odin needs to go thru a process called the "Odin Sleep" where he rejuvenates himself and his powers are restored. Since he was on Earth and away from the Seat of Power he was to weak to continue living. As for Hela she is the Daughter of Loki not Odin. They altered her origin in the film.
In the film franchise Mjolnir was first used by Hela during the wars to build and shape Asgard, after her banishment in then became Thor's main weapon.
When she says kneel you have to or else you are not going to survive or anyone else that gets involved she’s my favorite always has been and always will be ❤
Yeah for those who don't know the reference this was asked to during interviews to the cast. What is thors hammers name & how do you prononce it ? Everyone was struggling & Paul Rudd (antman) was like " Uhm Johnathan" ?
She'd wipe out his army in 60 seconds and then tell him to kneel and kill him...unless he has access to destroy Asgard he has no way of killing her. And in the movie she was around only for a short time the longer she's back she gets stronger.
i just can’t forgive Marvel for bringing in the icon that is Cate Blanchett, giving her the character of Hela, and then killing her off after one movie..
This is why I stopped watching Alex Hefner's content; dude's got the memory of a goldfish and the attention span of a houseplant. I can't count the number of stupid-ass questions he asks in his videos because he was rambling over a plot point seconds beforehand.

The amount of people that don’t get the Norway reference upsets me. Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Denmark, etc were all known to be Viking territories. Odin, Thor, hella, etc are prominently Nordic (Viking) gods. That’s why Odin say Norway could be their home.
Right ? Seems that nobody was taught Norse mythology or what drove the vikings from a ethical and religious standpoint and where Thor and Odin originated
She has gained some weight, but that's it. The real question is, why would that be an issue for a reaction channel, you plan on trying to date her... while she's married.
This whole movie is a sad flop. Hela doesn't have that kind of power and she in NOT Thor's sister, ( where the F did THAT come from? ). They should have made her the Enchantress instead. Cate deserved better.
@@free_re_fells if you're telling people to take a nap that means you have no counterpoint. Hela is extremely powerful in the comics, but even going with the MCU version, there is no way she would have been able to catch the hammer because it is enchanted. Enchantments don't go away just because the person who cast the spell dies, that's evident by Dr. Strange and Ebony Maw in regards to the time stone. She might have been able to deflect the hammer like Kurse did in Thor the dark world, or even maybe possibly destroy it through matter manipulation, but she would not have been able to hold it. All of these characters have been changed so drastically, and most of the comic book MOVIE fans, haven't a clue. For example, in the comics, Odin is missing an eye because he drank from the well of cosmic knowledge. Because of that, he is omniscient, and his eye will never grow back. In the comics, most Asgardians are capable of regeneration, so that means Thor would have regrown his eye.

I saw a meme that said a British person saying "I beg your pardon" is the equivalent of "The f*ck you say?" LMAO It's fitting for Loki.
It's more so excuse me ?
love to the family
I always love the switch up, the reactors going from “they won’t kneel, they will never kneel” to “yeah you should kneel” 😅
"She Hela strong" haha how did they all miss that pun? haha
That was loki funny
@@That1GuyWither Ha! I laughed so hard my throat got Thor

"Kneel"
Loki said that on The Avengers when the old man refused so that's why he responded to that statement when Hela said it to them.
Nice. The way she said it the second time 💀

Cate Blanchett's hips don't lie
Lovely Lovely hips....
“She looks like a Reigndeer” is crazy
This would’ve been a shocking scene if they hadn’t put it in the trailers
Yup...They REALLY shouldn't have put this scene in the trailers
But it got ppl so hyped out to watch this so much when they saw it
I am glad i didn't watch the trailer back then, it was shocking for me.
Tends to be why I don't watch trailers for anything
i stopped watching them in the 90s. when i was like 10.
She's scarily attractive 😂
Gooner

That why she died?
Love seeing even the viewers humbled at how Hella strong to fight against them
Damn, The Lady Galadriel has been going through it, eh?
рад что Кэйт затащила этот кусок *** из Марвел❤ только ради нее посмотрел 🎉
In place of a dark lord, you would have a QUEEN!!!!!!!
It's just a phase
Next should be hela vs asgardian soldiers. It's a must 😅
I'll add it to my list, thanks for watching!
"Jonathan!"
Cate Blanchett killed it!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏾
Hela was the best thing in this movie
Cate Blanchett looks absolutely gorgeous the first movie I watched of her was "Elizabeth" her portrayal of the first Queen of England awesome.
I’ll kneel for her so she can be my queen I’ll do what she says no matter what ❤
02:29 NO!! Jonathan :/
😂😂😂

Mjolnir’s magic. Which can be undone by stronger magic.
I love her voice
They should do a Hela vs Thanos fight scene.

Not the manager of hot topic 😂😂😂😂😂😂
6:25 he just answered his own question
In mythology Hel is Loki's daughter
It's also the same in the comics.
i just can’t forgive Marvel for bringing in the icon that is Cate Blanchett, giving her the character of Hela, and then killing her off after one movie..
naw, better to let her do other movies.
When she showed up the first time, she really summoned my sword
Recognition by Jax! I'm impressed! 👍
Jax is my favorite reactor
So many people missed the fact that Thor was trying to call Mjolnir back but couldn't
One thing that NEVER fails to upset me is these “reactors” having no media literacy. Half the time they can’t use context clues to follow the movie
This is why I stopped watching Alex Hefner's content; dude's got the memory of a goldfish and the attention span of a houseplant. I can't count the number of stupid-ass questions he asks in his videos because he was rambling over a plot point seconds beforehand.
I like how her first sword dissappears so she can reveal her headgear and summon 2 more swords
Hela is still top tier vilain in the MCU!!! 🖤
Odin said there home as New Asgard
Everyone: “oh, she’s scary..”
Me: “Damn…she hot…”
Not gonna lie, I swear I see Rhea Ripley in Hela!!!!!!
Dang, hela was Hella crazy and cute

It’s a movie, bro. Relax
some of these reactors i'm afraid never finished elementary school
I wish hela had more screen time
Down Townsend needs to activate his Windows.
Well its bc shes the goddess of death so the hammer couldnt do anything to her anything she could touch dies including the hammer
No....

The girl in the orange adidas sounds like Madisynn from She-Hulk 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There’s no way ppl don’t know who hela is ☹️
So u can say that Thor made his sister Hela mad?
One thing has become clear in watching these compilations: reactors are not bright people.
No...... Johnathan!!
Love Natalie Gold 🥺
How frequently did she utter the word "oh"?
O m a g a a a ! ! ! 😱
Obvio que hela es más poderosa es la hermana mayor
This film was the first nail in the death of the Thor character, absolute trash
Kate Blanchett. I want one. No...
Child boy with the glasses, he's annoying and fake. Avoiding his reactions.
That aside...Cate is 'So Hot' as Hela.
Weirdo
