At 14 years old, Ringo had been hospitalized multiple times for tuberculosis. His mom got the doctors to allow him go to the movie Blackboard Jungle, which featured the song Rock Around the Clock. He included the song in his EP as a tribute to that time.

What is most enduring about Mr. Starr is that he makes everyone feel that they could be like him. This is no small feat, and we are blessed to have him still moving down The Road and always bring a smile to our faces and a lift to our hearts. Keep rockin', Ringo!
All four of them made everything they did look so easy. The difference is that Ringo has always been the most down-to-earth Beatle who's best at making you feel totally at ease, whereas with the other three, it was and is much harder to shake one's starstruck-ness.

After watching the documentary, Get Back, I realized Ringo is the calm backbone and glue for the Beatles. I admire him. Besides, Yoko was a stone in the shoes for the band ,except Lennon, during the later days of the band.
