He may not be as technically talented as George, Paul or John, but you really can't hate on Ringo's classics he made in his early solo carreer. He's content with who he is, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind being known as the Drummer of the biggest band of all time either.
Even after playing this live for how many decades he still manages to mess up that first line. Too funny! Great recovery though.

Me and wife saw him at the Oakdale in Connecticut many years ago and what a great show. The BeaTles and that era was the best time for music !! Great to see the All Star band playing and many great artist as well. Thank you Ringo and of course the Beatles for creating the BEST era of music for there short time as The BeaTles !!! I was early in my teens and played drums and learned to drum quite well listening to Ringo. Creative drummer and a inspiration at least for me.
I hope to get to see Ringo and his all star band sometime soon in Milwaukee
