- I get my hands on a shiny new F8C Lightning, and after upgrading it to the max I try my hand at bounty hunting once again. Will things finally go according to plan this time?

When you said you put full power back to shields, you actually sent full power to engines. That's why your shields went down.
Ah, yeah I make that mistake sometimes, same with changing my targeting pip when activating flares. I should probably rebind the hats on my flight stick
Your missiles missed because you fired before having the audible announcement of target locked. You have to wait for the audible announcement and not just the visual.
That spaceship looks so beautiful! I can see you're getting the hang of your new custom flight sticks, nice! I'm surprised Anvil didn't let you film your ship acquisition but hopefully you can video the process in the future. I love to see fellow citizen spend their hard earned credits :P

The Quarreler is identical to the Omnisky in terms of damage and bullet velocity. The Quarrelers have more HP than the size 3 Omnis so they are better overall
Oh that’s good to know, that explains the targeting pips also because it goes off of velocity
Sold the F8 and MK2, and brought a: ''Buccaneer/Arrow and Gladius'', i just love the Foundation paints for two of them and the Ghoulish for the Buc. Oh and brought a Valkyrie as i have the Foundation Paint for that also.

a trick to get the inventory to work is to spam I as soon as it opens and then it should work
Considering that you were flying a ship that isnt well known for its dogfighting capabilities you did pretty good.
You messed up some energy distribution but your biggest flaw was the fact that you stayed in that fight. In Star Citizen there is no shame in retreating.
Side note: The marker for you bounty at grimhex wasnt accurate because there wasnt any active comms arrays.
I thought that was pretty slick work keeping visual on the target through those chaff clouds.

The only thing I can see you need to do, is pull out of the fight clear it and then re-enter the fight. you just seem to spin around in on small area. and try getting over the top of them.
that was quit fun to watch :) remember pvp is nothing more then practice - when ever you see me im down to rumble and even toss some tips and tricks your way
It’s hard to get your minimap to work when your helmet is in your backpack.

The way it is right now, i would take 4-5 f8 anytime compared to one hammerhead with no other fighter support ^^

I usually say my F8 has a higher skill rating than I have. I'm hoping to grow into it.
Yeah I feel the same way, it might just come down to flight time. Maybe I could train in arena commander or something
@@CaptainFlynn117 I think AC is probably good for practicing acrobatics, but learning the reaction/input -- the handling -- of the ship needs linear space the AC bubble doesn't have. Just take it out flying in the PU, you don't have to take missions.
Even if the F8C is not the Meta in PvP, it still is quite the beast. Love the looks of this angry bird. Back at the event I found it too pricy... and later went for the F7A *lol*. Don't put your PvP skills under such a bad light. I am very sure that it's all about training and invessting time to get better. So for a "mostly PvE" player (like myself) I think you did noit do bad at all.
I just wished the servers were more kind to me the last weeks, but as of right now I get bad lags and I can not take off with my Nomad, no matter where I am retrieving it. Out of frustration I got myself a Raft and... man, this ship got some special flair about it ;) Now if just the servers would play along more often :)

Thanks once again man! Really glad you enjoyed. Yeah hopefully someday I'll be able to upgrade to an F7A also. I would recommend playing on Asian or EU servers when their population is at its lowest, that's usually how I avoid most of the server issues
@@CaptainFlynn117 indeed, I also try different regions when their population is lowest. But something seems to have changed since 3.21.1. Today I just refitted my 400i and 600i and will go exploring in the evening... in the hopes the ol' spark ignites again :)
Fingers crossed for all the F7C owners that missed the event (I barely made it due to migrating to another country in that timespan), that they will be able to upgrade someday soon.

nah your actually pretty decent, considering the f8c isnt too good in PvP due to nerfs, you did pretty well. Your aim seems pretty good. Also you just got third partied, otherwise you would have won.
Well thanks man, 3rd partying was certainly my downfall, but I feel like I could have maybe stopped it from getting to that point. Maybe with better positioning or something like that
@@CaptainFlynn117 with mastermodes it’s very hard to do so, since all the fights are at much slower speeds it’s very easy to assist and third party nowadays

Yeah that’s a good point man, it’s definitely something I should focus on. My mind generally just goes faster than my mouth and it’s hard to keep up sometimes, I used to have a terrible stuttering problem as a kid
sooo why you pick the glacier over the ultra flow
There might be better stuff out there in the 'verse, but since it changes all the time and it's hard to keep up with everything, I just use grade A military as the benchmark

Consider using the Vulkan renderer plus dlss, also turn every setting to max besides clouds. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but in its current unoptimized state its way more CPU heavy, and transferring some of that load to your GPU helps a lot. Since you asked, I'm using a 4090 with a 7950x3d

Yeah you just need to find someone who still has an extra ticket lying around, I got lucky and someone gifted me one

I just bought it not too long ago so maybe it is, it won’t let me see anymore though. If not, I’m sure they’ll open it back up later in the year with better insurance or something

I'd suggest learning the basics before engaging in pvp. You still have gsafe on..
Yeah I watched a few videos and tried arena commander, so I did better that I otherwise would have but that’s not saying much lol
