  • We often get asked if you should store your DIY bulk flowers in the fridge until you’re ready to arrange them…
    HECK NO!
Your home fridge is too cold for the flowers (florist fridges are much warmer) and the veggies in the fridge off-put gases that will make your flowers perish sooner than they should.
The best place to store your flowers is out in the open! Away from bright direct light/fans/heaters/dogs/kids. If you store in a cool dark place (like a basement) that will keep the flowers from opening up as fast - so if that’s your goal, stick them in the basement. All our flowers are shipped closed bud, so they need time to open up fully for your wedding, so keeping them in a softly light room temperature place is ideal.
If you’re making a boutineer or a corsage, those can be stored in the fridge in a tupperware hydration chamber (we have a you tube tutorial showing how to make a hydration chamber).
