I am a husband on a budget who still wants to do something special for his wife. This video was exactly what I needed to make the flowers I gave my wife feel extra special.
I want to thank you for that simple tutorial! For years, when I received flowers, I felt immediately sick to my stomach because of knowing i had no ability to make them look nice. So, instead of enjoying them, they annoyed me, never looking right. I was glad when they died so I could throw them away! But today I found your video and did what you said! And my bouquet looks truly lovely! Thanks for sharing your gift w me!❤
OMG this video is perfect!! thank you so much for this step by step tutorial; like another person said, I use to dread getting flowers bc I didn't know how to arrange them and dont even have a vase, etc. I appreciate this and am going to try this next weekend!
ahhh this is so helpful! i didn't realize the "put the flower at the table to measure how much stem to trim" was a Thing! but of course! I only just started subscribing and I'm gonna go to trader's this week get me a bouquet to design!! i always try to design my own from two or three singular flower bunches (alstromeria are my faves!) BUT it makes so much sense that it's better to practice with a pre-made that's got a great color, texture and heaviness variety!! so excited!!
I am looking for something new to do with my time (retired) and thought of floral arrangements. I enjoyed your tutorial, found it very helpful. If I may suggest, having a microphone would be helpful, it was difficult to hear you at times. Great job!
This was so helpful! I just take them out and stick them in the water and I never know what to do with them. Hopefully my next arrangement will look a little better with your help.
Hi there! I love your videos and your voice is also so relaxing! I wanted to know if you had any pieces of advice for color combinations when picking flowers and greens ? Tysm ❤
There is a tool you can buy that dethorns all the roses for you. Or you can simply take your thumb and push the thorn to the side and that should snap the thorn off

Good job Sis. Pls whats the essence of the water in the bottle..Will the plant not decay after sometimes?.Thanks
It's a Sweet William
Thank you!!! I couldn’t figure it out 😭
@@Flowersbyalexis we all get those moments! 🌸
That pink one might be sweet william or Godecia or Farewell-to-spring flower
It's dianthus. It's part of the carnation family.
The pink flower was Dianthus, better known as sweet William.
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How to remove thorns from the roses? Without hurting my fingers? I need to go for flower arrangement interview. I have no clues at all.
There is a tool you can buy that dethorns all the roses for you. Or you can simply take your thumb and push the thorn to the side and that should snap the thorn off
Dianthus is the mystery flower.
Good lesson. Sound quality is not so good
I have since gotten a microphone to solve this problem
That flower is dianthus.
Looks like weeds ??
Very nicely done and makes a lot of sense. Thanks
