I fell in love with Kristina Werner's galaxy technique a while ago...she creates such beautiful backgrounds with water colors..and have had success with regular Distress Inks and acrylic paints. Now I'll have to give the Distress Inks a try! Thanks for the tips on using another medium to create these fun backgrounds!
When I first say the pictures before watching the video, I thought nice. After watching your video and seeing the up close images and finished results, it's a WOW! THANK YOU JENNIFER for making such beautiful cards. Great ideas and tips.
I TRIED it and it came out beautifully. I made a really small sample one 'cause I'm a big coward. I feel more confident now and will certainly make a larger one. Thanks for sharing your know-how and making all of us who follow you better at our craft. We appreciate you.
yay!
Wow this is a super easy way to get that look. Thanks so much Jennifer.

Wow! So blown away by this! Fantastic art!!!
Another wonderful idea, Jenifer. Thank you for walking us through the step-by-step making of the Galaxy background. I have tried it before to not much success, but I am hopeful after this!
Incredible galaxy look, Jennifer. I'm with you, with the paint brush, it's like I suddenly become brain dead and haven't a clue what to do. This looks simple to do and turned out beautifully. I have to try it and now I have to buy the Hero Art's Kit. Loved the cards.
I really like inking for a galaxy background. Much better effect than with watercolor I think. These cards are stunning as usual. Thank you so much for sharing
What a great way to make a galaxy. I love the distress oxide colors and the way they blend. Thank you for the white pen suggestion; that will be in my next purchase. You always have a great way to put things together to make them look amazing. Thanks!

I am having so much fun with these oxide inks and THIS is an awesome idea ... can't wait to give it a try ... need to order the black oxide ink first! THANKS for always sharing such wonderful and insightful videos!
Thank you so much for sharing this technique! I love galaxy backgrounds but struggle with trying to exert too much control. The only time I've been happy with a galaxy background I've made was made with Brusho. I love my Oxides and look forward to trying this; your results are gorgeous.
can't wait to try my oxides on this..thanks Jennifer
Thank you Jennifer, really enjoyed seeing the process of this card. I would have thought too I messed it up.
Lovely background, the cards look amazing!
Absolutely stunning.
So beautiful, one of my favorites so far 💕
Shucks, who needs good painterly skills with how gorgeously that turned out. As for me, I would never had the guts to try such a background the painterly way. I love what you did and I must try this. Take care.
Love your tutorials; they are of excellent quality and full of useful information. Thanks so much and look forward to watching and learning from many more.
Thank you this is a great galaxy. I found my previous trues were too dark. I like this much better. Thank you for showing this new Hero Arts August Kit. I've been so curious about it.
Mind blown.....this is beautiful!
Beautiful cards. Love that background. No Oxide inks yet nor the Perfect pearls. May have to pick up a couple of those too. Thank you for sharing this great technique. Your videos are so helpful.
WOW Jennifer!!! You have totally rocked these cards and those amazing backgrounds!!! I have always been a bit intimidated by those backgrounds but you've made it look doable. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope your week is wonderful. ~HUGS~

Beautiful cards and great tutorial as usual. Thanks Jennifer ❣💖💮
Lovely cards, Jennifer. Connie Stewart, SU Demonstrator, has discovered an nearly invisible way to attach vellum. She uses a piece of sponge in Tombow mono glue and lightly dabs spots on the back of the vellum.
As always! Awesome! I will try this!
Beautiful cards! thanks for another great tutorial!
Those are awesome . . Love love love them all, you did an amazing job . . 😎 😎 😎

Oh Jennifer, I LOVE this entire set. I still make cards for my husband and he would love these as he is a Atmospheric Scientist. Anything to do with the earth, space, stars, etc...he loves...I am going to have to ck out those new oxide inks. Do you know if they come in the cube side yet? Thank you Jennifer for again, showing us great techniques with one of a kind cards!

Beautiful cards
Beautiful!
Woo! Like if you think this was beautiful!!!! I tried a watercolor version since I don't own Distress Oxide inks, and it still turned out well. It was my first time too!
Beautiful!!
I like using dark blue instead of black because galaxy skies arent black. This is great video.

so beautiful
Love this! ❤️👍
Always amazing. So beautiful :)
Wi love these cards.
Beautiful
Love this look I keep trying yo talk myself into buying the distress oxide inks but I so much invested in other inks and if I buy just a few not sure which colors I would get the most use out of but I do love what you do with them
Villainous poison would be great with this technique too.
Great tutorial.
SO VERY COOL. THANKS
I would have added a few more drops of adhesive to the velum moon, so it doesnt stick up like it does now. And then to conceal those drops, put the gems on top of them.
