Jennifer you can take off as long as you want especially when you come back like gang busters like today. You need to charge yourself up once in awhile so go with love...then come back like you did today with gang busters....Fantastic...loved it as always.
I liked the way the color stays in the block shapes. Makes for a definite area for your image / sentiment. Thanks for sharing this. I had never seen it done before.
Hi Jen, I have been stamping for many yrs, but so appreciate you revisiting techniques of old. I have learned some new tips and will enjoy trying this one again. You are awesome, my dear. Keep up the good work. Hugs
family is important and you are an amazing lady who puts them first. Your children will always remember that as they grow and as they have their own families. God Bless you and your family. By the way, these are beautiful cards.
❤ I love watercolors ! That's been my favorite medium for decades and decades. I've discovered using alcohol in place of water gives me all sorts of various effects as backgrounds. But, using my acrylic blocks is new. 🙋 GreatNana in se OK usa
I just love love love this technique, it may be a oldie, but its new to me. I have pulled out water color paper, distress inks, blocks and my distress water bottle. Thank you so much Jennifer for bringing your older techniques to the front again. Some of us are still learning.
Thank you for showing another way to make watercolor backgrounds without using a brush. I'm not very good using a brush, so techniques like this really help me. :)
Just love all the colour combinations. So many choices. Going to give it a try. Ashamed to admit I have never tried anything like this and nearly 70. Ne'er too late 👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️
I love this machine technique I did that with my 5 and 6 year old granddaughters for Mother's Day you make Mother's Day cards for their moms they loved it
What a fantastic way to create cards, I guess I missed your first video so I am delighted that you re-posted this one. Love the watercolour look it makes for a beautiful card front and the stitching really adds to it. Thank you.
Once again, Jennifer, you have produced some lovely pieces of work. I love the added touch of needlework to your cards. I can’t wait to try out your ideas. Many thanks and kind regards Jacqueline
I don't know how I missed this one! LOVE THE POUNCE Looks like a card you'd by in a store. Best compliment you can give a card maker! You are awesome! You teach so well. I always here you in my head "make sure it is dry" LOL!!!
I am going to try this. I haven't been working on cards this whole summer. But I know I need to make time for it. I will try this. Thanks for the fun video.
This technique is so gorgeous. I'm new at card making and never would have thought to ink up an acrylic block to achieve this look. Also, that watercolour paper looks like so much fun! Thank you for the videos!
as always ...Love !!! You always give us inspiration!!! & in my opinion, there is no such thing as a video that is too long if you learn something from it !.... ty for sharing
The cards in this video are so strikingly beautiful, Jennifer. Can't wait to try this technique! Thanks so much for bringing something "old" to those of us to are something "new" to card making.
Wow! You really packed a lot of info into this video. Thank you for sharing both the technique and completed examples of how you finished off the cards using the panels you created. Thank you! This is inspiring!
These are absolutely lovely. And they look like they're so much fun to make. Can't wait to try this. BTW, I never mind your longer videos -- your content is always worth it. In fact, I tend to like your longer videos even more. Thanks, Jennifer, for all you share.
Thanks for sharing this!! I hadn't seen this technique before and will be making several cards with it. Thanks also for uploading videos that are refreshing, kind and fun. Have a great day!!

Thank you for reminding me of this fun technique that I haven't used for many yrs. I love the cards you made. I love your Video Jennifer and always look forward to watching them. Thank you
My mind is exploding with ideas for this seemingly simple technique. Thank you so much again for sharing your ideas and time to stretch our creativity.
Awesome video. Thank you for all of the in depth explaining and demonstrating. Have never really done this technique much because mine never really turned out. Can't wait to retry. Love all of the cards
Thank you for an informative video. Beautiful cards. I appreciate that you leave in your "oopses" and explain how you incorporated them into your design. Happy accidents!!
Hello Jennifer- These cards are lovely! Thank you for sharing the technique! I love that you always experiment with supplies to change them up & get more use out of supplies! Thank you for sharing!
Boy, Jennifer....did your video brighten my day today!! I haven't done this type of smooshing in quite some time but these stunning cards are such a wonderful inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing and for continuing to bring us all so much joy! ~HUGS~ (PS: Your videos are NEVER too long. Ever!) #kindnessmatters
This is an awesome, easy way to lay down color really fast. Love it! The handmade paper is really cool. Sewing is my first love. I'll have to try it on cards.
I love this technique and your work. I have to say I got a good laugh seeing all the different containers/mugs/bowls that hold various tools that you used to weigh down the acrylic block - because I'm the same way!! 😂 Whether I'm actually sitting in my craft area or toting things around the house while refereeing offspring battles - I use various small baskets/mugs/jars/etc to keep everything separate so I'm not having to sift through things in the current craft carting bag/basket or even around my desk. My husband thinks I'm nuts cuz I have a love of containers/baskets/jars/etc almost equal to my love of crafty stuffs. lol 😂
Love this type of inking. Like the definite shape of the block you used. I've done similar, but all over the card front eith markers on plastic bag, spray with water and lay paper on top. Once you start you hate to stop. I see this is another fun way and I'm going to HAVE to do it. Sewing on cards, paper is fun. And you can play with your machine and tey out all the decorative stitches on your machine.and get different looks. Just don't stitch too close- small of stitch. It would perpetrate it. Thanks for Sharing. Can't wait to have some fun. Love the hand made paper and the edge you can have. Thanks again.
Your videos are always full of fun techniques & ideas. I get so inspired by you & your projects! Thank you so much for sharing these ideas with us. I look forward to your next one!

Guess what?! I made one. That was really fun, there are so many ways to go. Thank you for providing inspiration. I get so stuck sometimes and can't figure a direction to go. Other times I'm like a house on fire.
What beautiful cards! I've always loved the background 'wash' look, but haven't really done it yet. This is exactly what I like because the background still takes center stage! Too many others end up hiding it with too much added. Thanks!
