Jennifer that card you made saying you are the best. Please send it to yourself from all your subscribers! Because you are the best! Thank you for this lively technique
I cannot imagine getting those elements straight on my panel!!! You're amazing. I love the letterpress look. If US mail wasn't more expensive for square cards, I do believe every card I'd make would be letterpress-look and square. The simplicity of your cards is just sooooo appealing! Thank you for sharing, Jennifer.
Jennifer I just love this and the cards came out beautifully....and I just loved it when you said you loved doggies...as I am a dog person too...my heart really felt that...we had 3 pugs over a period of our marriage and now we lost the last one about 4 years ago and I still miss him so much...but at 85 now I hesitate to get another one...maybe a rescue... a senior like us...LOL
This is like the older idea of making one’s own embossing folder. The possibilities are endless :) I also love the tip of using vellum on the one side to add the colour and that they are reusable !
Excellent explanation and demonstration. I honestly think techniques like this elevate card crafting to a very sophisticated level. Thank you so much Jennifer for sharing your skill and talent with all of us.
Fabulous ideas and have to commend you as you not only show us one way to do things, but multiple ideas in your videos and love the samples; thanks for sharing.
A friend introduced me to your videos. You have so many great ideas. I can't wait to try them... I will be making cards nonstop for a long time. Thank you so much for sharing
Jennifer, YOU ARE THE BEST! What wonderful ideas and the dies and stamps sets you use plus the techniques inspire me to make more beautiful cards. I can't afford a whole lot, so for gifts, I make card sets for Christmas gifts, or BD gifts for my relatives to use for every occasion. YOU CAN BET I am going to use this technique...GREAT IDEAS, GREAT VIDEO"S, by a very talented card artist..I am so thankful for you~blessings!
When I saw your preview pictures I couldn't figure out how you did this technique. Now I'm in awe. What a way to use dies differently. It would be fun to do this technique and then stamp with a coordinating stamp to add even more details.
I'm totally blown away by your immense talent! Who knew you could do so much with dies? Seriously...I will be giving these techniques a try. Thanks so much for sharing. You rock!
Well, we're now in late September of 2022...I love those dies used for the dogs as well...wish they still had them. I have a Golden Retriever service dog...went looking to find similar dies to make cards from the two of us but none to be had...OH well! Love the technique and I will be using it. Thank you, Jennifer! I will be on the lookout for used dies that fit the bill as I visit resale sites and individuals 'de-stashing'. It is a sweet card...they all are, but it took my eye. Blessings!
Very pretty cards. I'm going to give it a whirl. You have no idea how happy I am that you are trying out various die cut machines. My machine is tired and I think it's going to give out on me. I'm really interested in seeing which machine is good for older hands, too. Thank you for all your nice videos.
What lovely cards and look fairly simple to make. Thank you for this technique. I can't decide which ones to do firs. You are the best example of kindness I know.
Jennifer you are amazing. I have learned an immense amount from all of your tutorials. How your mind must work to come up with all of the techniques you do. It is just absolutely amazing. Thank you for all you do.
Jennifer, you do the BEST videos. I love the techniques you show and the cards you do. You have such great easy ways of showing so many ways to use supplies in different ways and I love that. Keep up the GREAT videos, thank you for what you share.
Jennifer, you are just amazing! You are so clever and gifted. Thanks for all your wonderful videos. I learn so much from you and am always inspired to try your techniques. I am a lifetime fan.
Thank you, thank you, Jennifer! I have been struggling lately! Stamping has been a major part of my surviving the loss of my husband, Dan. He passed away from Avery rare disease last November, right after Thanksgiving. Since September it has been one event after another- our 47th anniversary, our son's birthday, Dan & my Mom's birthday, our youngest granddaughter's birthday (she & Dan shared their celebration together since they're only a day apart) now Thanksgiving and the anniversary of his death are looming in front of me. I felt that I was moving forward till September than Boom! I will sit at my stamp table staring at the paper in front of me, even when I have an idea - and nothing. Creativity and joy simply gone. Even tried just recreating cards that I have loved making so I didn't have to stress the old brain cells! Nothing! Then I watched this video and wow! I'm so excited! You have been a big part of my healing process, and not just today! Thank you so much!
Jennifer this a great technique for oil based inks like Intaglio or monoprints...thanks for the lightbulb moment, and by the way...watercolor paper is most practical for this method. Also pre-wetting or soaking the watercolor paper will minimize the paper from cracking in the pressing processing. Thanks Emmy
WOW - I agree! Your videos, techniques and cards are beautiful. Thanks so much for being an inspiration to all of us. I can hardly wait to get home and try this one out!!!
Love all your videos but this one is going into my FAVORITES! Ditto all the other comments on your talent, artistry, teaching style and great techniques you share with us. Thank you!
Thank you Jennifer! I have previously tried printing with die cuts but they went soggy after a couple of tries. I've also recently tried embossing with them and achieved a lovely effect using several die-cuts stacked together. The vellum component is what I was missing to be able to do this! Brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing what you've discovered. Love the dog card!!
Another fabulous video Jennifer on such a fun technique. This letterpress technique is so versatile and you've shared with us that no matter what dies we may have, whether floral, phrases or other fun images, we can do this technique. Thanks so much for sharing so much with so many of us and I hope you have a fabulous week. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Absolutely fabulous! What a great technique. I have the letterpress set, but this will totally help me expand my collection. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration.
Thanks for another great video!!! I especially appreciate that you use different dies and stamp sets to show how we can incorporate stuff we already have to get the same look instead of having to go out and buy new stuff! Don’t get me wrong, I have purchased countless items due to watching your videos but I can’t keep up with using it all and I have tightened my budget so that I will use all the stuff I have not used yet! Your videos are the best and you are a great teacher!!! Thank you so much!!!
This is genius! I’ve been wanting to get both machines for the longest time. But knowing that you can do this technique with a die cutting machine as well makes me want to get a die cutting machine ASAP! Thank you for generously sharing this technique! You’re the best! 😘
