Mecha Godzilla poster version turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The sculpt and paint apps on the Gundalva, Naga, and Garuda are very detailed and well done.
The transformation process of this figure is fairly easy and straight forward. The full transformation into Mecha Godzilla does have quite a few steps as you saw, but in the end it’s a solid transformation.
I am more than happy to add this piece of Ohrai Noriyoshi’s legacy to my collection.
I want to say I sincerely appreciate your patience for this review. I had an extremely busy past two weeks but now I’m back on track.

The articulation on this figure actually makes sense in my opinion. Obviously Mechagodzilla is giant, heavy machine and kinda makes this version more realistic in terms of movement. Even from the version in film doesn't move all that much and fluidly, it's not intended to be Kaiju but a weapon. Speaking about it, if Pacific Rim crossed over this would be the ultimate Jaeger.
That is the coolest Godzilla figure I've ever seen
If Legendary ever adds Mechagodzilla to the Monsterverse, they should do him like this; several vehicles combining together.

I love this figure. I don't think I'd call the transformation difficult by any means though. I would have loved an energy effect but it's still awesome without one.

The design and engineering of the set is so good, I'm actually surprised and personally find $166 to be quite underpriced for a figure that functions both as an SH Monster Arts and Combiner. Also, great review as always.

In my mind, when I saw the tank mode and the mecha-g combination sequence started, I thought of the “Megazord Sequence has been initiated” line from Mighty Morphing. I also thought of the first time the lightspeed rangers formed the rescue megazord when the two tanks combined to a point that the thing could start walking to the final assembly location.

Diego, you are absolutely right, the pectoral connectors should have been metal on the Garuda. My only gripe about the whole toy. Other than that, it's pretty solid.

yeah but back then, especially with how tall he was supposed to be, the way his arms are set up aren't meant for a suit, which is why they couldn't do it like that in the film.

This version of mechagodzilla looks like they took the 70s mechaGodzilla, made him more badass looking, and made him into a transformer.
Can you clarify the step at 9:57? I've wiggled the two side pieces but am not not sure what is supposed to happen. Do they slide outwards? There doesn't seem to be any "give" with those two pieces, and nothing I do can get the little pegs to align with the holes on the parts beneath. Any guidance is appreciated!
It also depends on the site that you got that from. But I hope to find one at a much cheaper price.
A combo with Mechagodzilla's head, Starscream's wings, and somewhat a power ranger body. To be honest, this is the Mechagodzilla that should've been in that film, unlike the one with a dopy face. This design makes Kiryu look crappy. Because his face looks similar to the Showa Mechagodzilla. I'm willing to bet that Warner Bros. and Legendary can maybe make a design of this version Mechagodzilla for the Monsterverse. THEY SHOULD!!!!! Probably after Godzilla vs. Kong. Maybe it should be called, Godzilla 3: Attack of the Machines (feat. Mechagodzilla and Gigan). But that's just me.
UPDATE: Finally got my hands on this figure for Christmas!!! There was 1 on sale on Amazon & if I didn't buy it now, I was afraid that I'd miss out on a good sale. I "ABSOLUTELY" love this figure!!! However, you are correct about the support panels for the Chest pieces as one of mine broke when combining all the pieces. I figure that, I'll either glue it on, or place the piece on Godzilla's hand, (kinda like making a"Battle-damage diorama). Also, this video was, "Very Helpful", when assembling this figure. THX & Happy Holidays!! :-)

That's a great idea. I shall tune in it.
You can just use a Blue Yeti with a pop filter and lots of absorption material around you so you don't have echo or bouncing. If it's a voice over it's even easier since you can just talk over your video. I do it for a living and I do live record for fun as I prefer the unscripted feel for my personal projects
Played With, my better have just gave me a Blue Yeti microphone for Christmas! Can't wait to try it out.

Depending on the material the figure is made out of I will use super glue. Otherwise, I will buy a new one.
