Shin Godzilla the Fourth Awakening version turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The sculpt is well done, the articulation is great and doesn’t have any joint issues, and the new glowing paint app is awesome!
The only issue I have with this figure is how uncomfortable and difficult it can be when swapping the heads. Just make sure you have a hairdryer nearby in case you have any issues.
Minor issues aside I absolutely recommend picking up this figure. Now be aware this figure is a Tamashii Web Exclusive and it is pricey.

DiegoDoom the original and the fourth awakening version look different from each other and their paint apps
Bryan Stephens agreed. Awakening version looks glossier when it comes to the charcoal-black paint apps and doesn't look as sloppy

I would say take a shot every time he says “Shin Godzilla” but c’mon, we all know that whoever would try it they would die of alcohol poisoning immediately

That's some flawless stop motion. The only thing missing are the multiple beams from its back and the purple gas that's fired before the fire itself.

That squeaking is terrifying to me! It feels like the stems are being torqued hard core. (Not a good thing, as figuarts with joints that tight have had them snap off without warning and turn the figures into junkers) Shock oil those joints the first chance you get, man. It'll save you tears in the long run.
Otherwise, that stop motion is absolutely fantastic. You should keep it up, and include it in more reviews when feasible, as I want to see more of that.

It seems like this time they used a translucent purple plastic for the body, therefore they HAD to paint the red. I might pick this one up after all. I didn't bother pre-ordering since I, and many others, thought it would be a trainwreck like the first release.
