This song is about a orphan child's hope for parents and friendship also as it was represented in the relation between Laura and Mary we saw in the letter. Beautiful track!
I know the scenes were all motion capped, even back then, but even with the graphics not being as good as the stuff we see today, there's something more...genuine...and therefore realistic about these characters. Even though the graphics aren't as good (I still think they're good, mind you), they still feel much more Real than a lot of characters in the other games I've seen (even AC Origins, for me)/ played in general, like you could reach out and console them...or not... :) Have a good day internet people.

I watched a blind playthrough a few months ago (never beat it as a kid -- was so scared of the apartment level) and found myself connecting with the entire narrative and every character from start to finish. That is an extremely hard thing for me to do still as an adult. There are so many low quality stories out there that just don't hold my interest. Silent Hill stood the test of time and still stands above the rest.

I drive around Alaska in winter time listening to this and other music from Silent Hill 2. It creates this mysterious atmosphere of mystery, anticipation, and somberness combined with the frozen tree's and snow everywhere, while being isolated from the world... that puts me at ease with my troubles and makes me happy.
When I listen to this song, I remembered when my mother and I used to travel to the south of my country, Chile and she take me to the great forests, my hometown Valdivia and the lakes, they remind of Silent Hill by the way. And, I love her so much, she is always with me, during good times and bad times. We have a great mother-son relationship and she is so kind. In those trips, we used to talk a lot about pretty much everything. And those beautiful moments in my native land are inside of my heart. I love Silent Hill and I love Akira Yamaoka, such a great artist

Someone needs to contact the original team silent and get them to get a kickstarter running, I'll donate every last penny I've got if it means getting a new god tier silent hill

Even if the members of Team Silent wanted to get back together to make another Silent Hill game, they’d have to get Konami’s blessing first. They still own Silent Hill. That’ll never happen though, because Konami seems to only care about money, and they’re getting a ton of it from pachinko machines and mobile games. Creating an actual good game that you have to put a lot of money, time, and effort into is unthinkable for them. Maybe someday their mindset will change, but, for right now, I don’t see that happening. It’s sad but it’s the truth.
I truly desire to know what the history of laura throughout silent hill 2 we mainly only hear about Mary and James but to me the little girl seems unlike a normal child I want to know everything she went through up to her present age in SH 2 especially when she plays songs like this one on the piano

And stood there for a minute before she noticed me and asked what was wrong, when all was explained we laughed Sometimes we still do the chores while hearing this songs, makes the mindless repetitions of cleaning the house all the more enjoyable Anyway just wanted to share, happy days everyone! Soon this song will be remake, hope this silent hill 2 remake will be one of the good ones! All the best!

Diese Geister haben so hart genervt ,dann das verkorkste Inventarsystem, dass man Levels mehrmals durchgehen muss usw. Nowadays we have good graphics but they are dull. I believe the imperfections of the graphic back then make the game more interesting

I used to watch my dad play silent hill as a kid this is my childhood. My dad left my family for a new one. I haven’t heard from him in 4 months
