Ice Fishing Ontario Brook Trout - BIG BROOK TROUT Catch and Cook
In this most recent Average Joes adventure from December 14th, 2024. Brendan and Lyle headed out with their buddy Bryton to a local High Elevation Brook Trout lake in the Ottawa Valley. With fresh ice on the lake, the Big Brookies were hungry. After catching a few dandies, the lads enjoyed a nice catch and cook on the shore and enjoyed the warmth of a fire on this VERY COLD and Sunny Ontario day.

There are actually 71 lakes in FMZ15 which are open for year round Brook Trout opportunities! If you scroll through the regs there’s a list of lakes on there you can see 😊
