How To Use Headlight Washers on BMWs | BMW X1 sDrive18i

From my own tests, the washers only work during initial start-up. I'm not sure if BMW deliberately implemented a cool down time or if it's just my finding...

I read on a blog that you have to turn the headlights on and give the windscreen washers three consecutive decent blasts - that should activate the headlight washers; that's how it worked for me, not from the first spray.

The onboard computer usually periodically activates this when driving and you spray the windscreen. Comes from the same water store for screen wash so it’s not really soap and dries just like the windscreen 👍
